We are seeking multiple Data Centre Engineers to support ongoing operations at our customer's data centre in Sines, Portugal.
This is a hands-on role working with some of the latest infrastructure technologies, including enterprise servers, networking
equipment, AI/GPU systems, storage platforms, and data centre environments.
Whether you're already working in a data centre environment or have gained experience through IT support, infrastructure,
networking, or technical education, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career
within the data centre industry.

About the Role We are looking for a CSA Engineer to join our growing Design and Delivery team. You'll act as the technical authority for Civil, Structural and Architectural systems and interfaces across the START Campus data center portfolio — supporting projects from concept design through commissioning and handover, and working closely with Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operations and external consultants to ensure successful delivery and long-term asset reliability. Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering * Review and validate civil, structural and architectural designs for data center facilities. * Ensure compliance with project requirements, design standards, local regulations and industry best practices. * Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations and design reports. * Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces between CSA, Mechanical, Electrical and Controls systems. * Support value engineering and constructability reviews. Construction Management * Monitor CSA construction activities to ensure quality, safety and compliance with approved designs. * Conduct site inspections and technical audits. * Review contractor submittals, RFIs, method statements and material approvals. * Track construction progress and identify risks affecting schedule, quality or cost. * Support issue resolution during construction and site execution. Structural Engineering * Review structural calculations and designs for mission-critical facilities. * Assess structural capacity for equipment loads, rooftop installations and future expansion requirements. * Support investigations of structural defects and remediation strategies. * Ensure compliance with seismic, wind and resilience design criteria where applicable. Architectural & Building Systems * Oversee architectural systems including the building envelope, roofing systems, raised floors, internal finishes, fire-rated assemblies and access control interfaces. * Ensure building integrity and environmental performance requirements are achieved. * Support waterproofing, corrosion protection and durability programs. Commissioning & Handover * Support CSA commissioning activities and inspections. * Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (where applicable), Site Acceptance Tests and Integrated Systems Testing. * Verify completion of punch-list items and closeout activities. * Review as-built documentation and turnover packages. * Support operational readiness and facility handover processes. Asset Lifecycle Management * Support condition assessments and lifecycle planning for CSA assets. * Support the development of the maintenance and inspection strategies. * Participate in root cause analysis investigations involving CSA-related failures. * Identify opportunities to improve reliability, maintainability and operational efficiency. What We're Looking For Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering. * Registration with Ordem dos Engenheiros, or an international equivalent, is a plus. Experience * 5-8+ years of experience in civil, structural or architectural engineering, ideally on large-scale industrial, mission-critical or data center projects. * Experience reviewing structural calculations, contractor submittals, RFIs and material approvals. * Exposure to commissioning processes (FAT/SAT/IST) and facility handover. * Experience with condition assessments and asset lifecycle planning is a plus. As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in managing and safeguarding all technical, design, construction, and compliance documentation across a fast-growing hyperscale data center program. You will ensure that every drawing, model, report, specification, contract, and change document is accurate, traceable, and aligned with strict internal, client, and regulatory requirements. You will act as the gatekeeper of the project’s single source of truth, enabling coordination across engineering, construction, commissioning, quality, operations, consultants, and contractors. This role is essential to maintain transparency, compliance, and governance as we expand our portfolio and scale our project delivery capabilities. Key Responsibilities Document Management * Manage the full lifecycle of project documents - creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving - across all project stages. * Ensure proper version control, document numbering, and traceability for drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports. * Maintain and enforce document control procedures in line with company and industry standards. * Ensure that all documentation complies with internal policies, client requirements, and regulatory frameworks. System Administration & Tools * Manage the document management platform (e.g., ACC, SharePoint, or similar) and ensure users follow proper workflows. * Support onboarding and training of internal and external stakeholders in document control tools and processes. * Contribute to the setup and continuous improvement of digital filing structures, workflows, and metadata standards. * Lead continuous improvements to the digital filing structure, metadata rules, workflows, approval routes, and audit trails. Project Coordination * Support Design & Delivery teams in issuing, tracking, and updating project documents and design deliverables. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely submission and approval of design packages. * Prepare and maintain project documentation logs, registers, and reports for management and audits. * Ensure alignment between design, construction, and operations documentation during project handover. * Support project handover activities, ensuring alignment between design, construction, commissioning, and operations documentation (O&M manuals, test records, as-builts, asset data). Quality & Compliance * Monitor compliance with documentation standards and report on inconsistencies or non-conformities. * Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible. * Work closely with the Quality and HSE teams to integrate document control with broader project governance processes. The BIM Manager leads the development, implementation, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and standards across our data center projects. Reporting to the Head of Design, this role ensures that BIM is fully integrated into the project lifecycle - from concept and design through construction and handover - to deliver accurate, coordinated, and data-rich models that support design excellence, cost control, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities BIM Strategy & Implementation * Define, implement, and manage the company’s BIM strategy, standards, and workflows in alignment with industry best practices (ISO 19650). * Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for all projects and ensure consistent adherence by internal and external teams. * Drive the integration of BIM into all project phases - sales, design, coordination, construction, commissioning, and facilities handover. * Ensure all BIM models and data outputs support wider business needs, including asset management and sustainability reporting. Project Delivery & Coordination * Oversee the creation, coordination, and validation of multidisciplinary BIM models (architecture, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural). * Manage clash detection, coordination reviews, and design validation to reduce rework and ensure construction accuracy. * Support project teams in maintaining accurate model-based deliverables, drawings, and documentation. * Collaborate closely with design consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with the company’s BIM standards and protocols. Technology & Innovation * Evaluate and implement digital tools to improve design coordination, visualization, and project data management. * Champion the use of parametric modeling, digital twins, and data-driven design methodologies. * Manage the integration of BIM data with other platforms (e.g., ERP, CDE, GIS, CMMS). * Stay current with evolving BIM technologies, automation tools, and data standards to continuously enhance company capabilities. Team Development & Support * Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to design and project teams on BIM processes and tools. * Ensure alignment and collaboration between internal stakeholders (Sales Engineering, Design, Engineering, Delivery, Operations) on BIM deliverables. * Act as the primary BIM interface with external partners - consultants, contractors, and technology providers. Requirements * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. * 7+ years of experience in BIM management within large-scale, multidisciplinary design or construction environments. * Strong command of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and related collaboration platforms. * Proven experience with ISO 19650 workflows, BIM standards, and document management best practices. * Excellent understanding of data center or mission-critical facility design, or other complex infrastructure projects. * Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. * Fluency in English and Portuguese * Experience in Digital Twin implementation and integration with operations systems. * Certification in BIM Management or ISO 19650 accreditation is a plus.
