General Job Description / Key responsibilities: As the Project Implementation Manager - Sage People, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the global Sage People implementation programme across the organisation. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the successful design, deployment, and rollout of Sage People as the core global People system, ensuring the programme delivers against business, operational, data, and compliance objectives. The role is a contract position for a period of 12-18 months, with a possibility to extend further depending on the project. Objectives / Key deliverables: Global Programme Leadership Lead the global implementation of Sage People from mobilisation through design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Build and manage the overall project plan, delivery roadmap, milestones, dependencies, critical path, and implementation governance. Define workstreams, roles, responsibilities, timelines, and decision-making forums to ensure effective programme control. Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure activities remain aligned, sequenced, and delivered to schedule. Requirements, Design & Delivery Coordination Partner with People & Culture, Finance, Payroll, IT, and regional stakeholders to gather, structure, and prioritise business requirements. Translate business needs into a clear implementation scope and structured delivery plan in partnership with Sage and implementation vendors. Oversee global process design across key employee lifecycle workflows including hire, job change, compensation, organisational structure, absence, performance, and offboarding. Lead global process harmonisation across People workflows, working closely with the organisation, People & Culture VPs, and functional leaders to standardise processes where possible, challenge local variation where not justified, and create scalable ways of working that can be sustained post-implementation. Ensure global design decisions balance standardisation with justified local requirements across jurisdictions. Challenge unnecessary process complexity and drive simplification where possible to support scalable system design. Ensure all requirements, decisions, design outputs, and configuration changes are documented and controlled. Data, Migration & Integrations Oversee the approach to data cleansing, data mapping, migration planning, validation, and cutover readiness for the implementation. Ensure data standards and governance principles are established early so that Sage People launch with accurate, trusted, and well-structured workforce data. Coordinate integration delivery between Sage People and connected systems such as payroll, ERP, finance, ATS, benefits, and identity platforms. Work with technical teams and vendors to track interface design, dependencies, testing outcomes, and defect resolution. Ensure migration and integration activities are fully planned, tested, reconciled, and signed off before go-live. Testing, Readiness & Deployment Own the overall testing strategy across system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, payroll parallel runs where relevant, and go-live readiness activities. Coordinate test planning, test script development, defect triage, retesting, and sign-off processes. Lead readiness planning for deployment, including cutover planning, training coordination, communications, support models, and hypercare structure. Ensure each phase or region is launched with appropriate operational readiness, issue management, and stakeholder support in place. Manage rollout sequencing across countries or business units, balancing pace with implementation quality and business readiness. Governance, Risk & Compliance Establish strong project governance, reporting, RAID management, and decision-making processes across the implementation. Track budget, resourcing, project status, dependencies, and vendor delivery performance, ensuring transparency for senior stakeholders. Ensure the programme is delivered in line with GDPR, data protection expectations, and relevant regional employment and data handling requirements. Maintain clear audit trails for major decisions, scope changes, risks, and sign-off points. About the role: The Project Controls Manager (PCM) plays a critical role in ensuring the best use of the human and financial resources for the ESS organisation. YOUR MISSION As the Bid and Proposals Manager, you will lead and manage the development of compelling and LLPwinning bids for defence contracts in STARK’s Nordic entity. Reporting to the Managing Director of Nordics and International Bidding Director, you will be responsible to own and drive the end-to-end management of the bid process, ensuring compliance with the Shipley Method and implementing a robust gate review governance approach. You will be an anchor to our sales team in the Nordics. It is less about generating opportunities and more about capturing them in a disciplined and methodical way as well as to conduct market surveillance and to manage information. You will also be in charge of reporting our progress against sales targets to STARK’s central sales team and do regular reporting on our CRM tools. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to submission and contract award. * Implement and maintain the Shipley Method for capture and bid management, ensuring best practices are followed. * Drive and uphold the gate review governance framework to ensure consistent, high-quality inputs for decision-making throughout the bid process. * Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and BD personnel to develop compelling and compliant proposals. * Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, templates, and proposal resources. * Facilitation of colour review workshops in accordance with Shipley Method, and coordinating technical and programme planning workshops. * Orchestrate end-to-end bid planning, defining critical milestones and driving adherence to strict submission deadlines to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. * Contribute to post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and government procurement regulations. * Partner closely with the Sales team to translate early-stage front-end activities into structured, actionable bid strategies that drive tangible outcomes. * Champion regional bid compliance, ensuring all proposals meet strict regulatory and client-specific compliance standards. * Drive Shipley Method-based capture planning and shape winning strategies well ahead of the formal RFP stage. * Support the best use of CRM, and drive the currency and hygiene of information within the system. Projecting and reporting on demand pipelines to STARK’s central sales team will be a core part of the role. QUALIFICATIONS * Willing and able to work out of our office in Stockholm, Sweden regularly four days per week (one day remote). * Must be able to communicate fluently and professionally in English and a Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish). Knowledge of several Nordic languages would be of Advantage. * Proven experience in managing and winning large, complex bids, preferably in an established defence Prime or large defence company selling to Nordic defence ministries. * Excellent project management, organisational, and time management skills. * Strong written, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. * Proficiency with market-typical Software and Office tools as Microsoft 365+ or Google WorkSuite, ERP Systems and CRM Software as Hubspot. * Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement. * Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance. Onboarding Data Support * Prepare merchant accounts ahead of onboarding by populating required product, inventory, and configuration data within agreed timelines. * Review merchant-submitted data templates for errors or missing fields and follow up to resolve gaps before entry. * Support the setup of catalogue structures, tax configurations, and payment settings as directed by the Onboarding team. Data Validation & Quality Assurance * Conduct checks to identify and correct errors, duplicates, or outdated records. * Cross-reference data across spreadsheets, CRM, and POS backend to ensure consistency. * Flag and document data anomalies, routing them to the appropriate team for resolution. Process & Documentation * Maintain accurate records of data entry activities, import logs, and correction history in the CRM. * Document common errors and resolutions to build a shared knowledge base and reduce repeat mistakes. * Identify recurring workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements to the Operations lead. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Fulfil ad-hoc data requests from Onboarding Specialists, Account Managers, and Support teams within SLA windows. * Coordinate with internal teams to gather missing customer data without delaying onboarding timelines. Qualifications * 1-3 years in data entry, data operations, or a similar role — preferably in SaaS, retail tech, or fintech. * Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of high accuracy across large data volumes. * Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (data cleaning, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas). * Familiarity with CRM platforms or POS/back-office SaaS tools. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred * Experience with bulk CSV imports, data migration, or catalogue management in a SaaS context. * Exposure to retail operations, inventory systems, or point-of-sale platforms. * Experience supporting an onboarding, implementation, or customer success team. * The candidate should be based in Owerri Municipal and Owerri West.
