This is an exciting time to join us. Your Role As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a complex, safety-critical system. This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of building a complete automated testing ecosystem, from defining strategy and selecting tools to implementing frameworks and writing test code. You will work across the full stack, covering frontend, backend, and system-level validation. Your work will include automated UI testing, backend and API verification, and system-level testing supported by simulations and realistic environments. A key part of the role is shaping how testing is done, defining what to test, how to test it, and how to ensure quality end-to-end across the product. You will collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to build testable, scalable solutions, while integrating continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines. Beyond implementation, you will also help identify gaps in test coverage, improve processes, and contribute to a strong quality culture within the team. What You Bring We believe you have solid experience working with test automation in production environments and are comfortable writing code as part of your daily work, whether in TypeScript, C#, Python, or a similar language. You have hands-on experience with modern frontend testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, as well as experience testing backend services and APIs. You understand how automated testing fits into CI/CD workflows and are familiar with tools such as GitHub Actions or similar platforms. Just as importantly, you have the ability to think strategically about testing in complex, distributed systems and enjoy taking ownership of quality from a holistic perspective. Experience with safety-critical or industrial systems is a plus, as is familiarity with simulators, virtual devices, or hardware-in-the-loop testing. Knowledge of performance or load testing and a broader full-stack understanding will also be valuable in this role. Tillsynen omfattar bland annat: organisation, ledning och styrning säkerhetskultur och säkerhetsledning kompetens och bemanning utredning av händelser och riskanalyser erfarenhetsåterföring konstruktion anpassad till människans förutsättningar egenkontroll beredskap Enheten samlar myndighetens kompetens inom MTO och utgör stöd i dessa frågor för hela organisationen. I uppdraget ingår även att bidra till utvecklingen av framtida verksamhet, inklusive hantering av eventuella ansökningar om ny kärnkraft.  Avdelningen för tillsyn ansvarar för operativ tillsyn, tillsynsvägledning samt uppföljning av verksamheter. I uppdraget ingår även att bereda anmälningsärenden samt att pröva och godkänna utredningar och åtgärder vid identifierade brister. Arbetet bedrivs med ett integrerat perspektiv på människa, teknik och organisation (MTO) och omfattar värdering av säkerhet och strålskydd.  Kvalifikationer Vi söker dig som har Universitets- eller högskoleexamen inom beteendevetenskap, kognitionsvetenskap eller annan inriktning som arbetsgivaren bedömer som relevant för tjänsten Kunskap om samspelet MTO samt hur ett systemperspektiv tillämpas i analys- och utredningsarbete  Aktuell erfarenhet av systematiskt MTO-arbete i praktiken Kunskap inom något eller flera av följande områden: kognitiv psykologi, organisationspsykologi, arbetspsykologi Körkort B Mycket god förmåga att uttrycka dig i tal och skrift på svenska och engelska Det är meriterande om du har Erfarenhet av kvalificerat analys- och utredningsarbete där MTO-perspektivet varit centralt Erfarenhet av tillsyn, granskning eller liknande kontrollverksamhet Erfarenhet av arbete inom myndighet Erfarenhet från kärnteknisk verksamhet eller annan tillståndspliktig verksamhet med joniserande strålning Erfarenhet av arbete med beredskapsfrågor Personliga egenskaper För att lyckas och trivas i rollen är du analytisk och har förmåga att strukturera och dra välgrundade slutsatser i komplexa frågor. Du kan arbeta självständigt, tar ansvar för dina uppgifter och driver arbetet framåt med noggrannhet och hög kvalitet. Anställningen kan komma att inledas med provanställning i sex månader.  Vissa av våra arbetsuppgifter är placerade i säkerhetsklass, vilket innebär att en säkerhetsprövning med registerkontroll enligt säkerhetsskyddslagen (2018:585) kan komma att genomföras före beslut om anställning. För en del av våra arbetsuppgifter i säkerhetsklass krävs även svenskt medborgarskap. Du kan komma att ingå i myndighetens krisorganisation och kan även komma att krigsplaceras vid myndigheten.
