Our frontend stack is based on React, TypeScript, and Next.js, with a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and testing. We care deeply about quality: we use TypeScript for type safety, Jest and Playwright for automated testing, and continuously evolve our design system and UI Kit. What you'll be doing: * Design, build, and maintain high-quality user-facing components and platform SDKs that enable survey and interactive experiences in the Flo ecosystem. * Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver flexible and scalable solutions. * Contribute to Flo’s design system and shared UI libraries, ensuring consistency and reusability across products. * Refactor and improve existing codebases for performance, reliability, and maintainability. * Write clean, modular, well-documented code and advocate for engineering best practices. * Actively participate in the frontend community at Flo, sharing ideas and driving improvements in architecture and development processes. Your Experience Must have: * 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining modern web applications. * Expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+). * Deep experience with React and modern frontend tooling. * Solid grasp of object-oriented design patterns and the ability to write efficient, well-structured algorithms * You must use AI coding agents as your default way of working — writing code manually is the exception, not the rule. * Proven ability to create adaptive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces. * A product mindset and strong collaboration skills — you care about how your work impacts the user. Nice to have: * Familiarity with Next.js, Contentful, or similar frameworks and CMS solutions. * Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks. * Understanding of analytics and BI integrations. Salary Range - gross per month (ranges may vary based on skills and experience) €5.900—€8.300 EUR How we work We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. We move fast, stay focused and take ownership – from brief to build to impact. Debate is encouraged. Decisions are shared. We care about craft, ship with purpose, and always raise the bar. You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it. What you'll get We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like: * Competitive salary and annual reviews * Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme * Paid holiday, sick leave, and female health leave * Enhanced parental leave and pay for maternity, paternity, same-sex and adoptive parents * Accelerated professional growth through world-changing work and learning support * In-person collaboration and work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week spent in the office * 5-week fully paid sabbatical at 5-year Floversary * Flo Premium for friends & family, plus more health, pension and wellbeing perks Diversity, equity and inclusion Our strength is in our differences. At Flo, hiring is based on merit, skill and what you bring to the role – nothing else. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, communities and identities. Read our privacy notice for job applicants.

We encourage you to apply for a position with Poppulo even if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements. We believe in fostering an environment where there is a diversity of perspectives, in hopes that we can all thrive. Job Summary You will join a cross-functional team building our Next-Generation of digital signage tooling from a world class CMS that integrates design and event systems, through a multitude of signage presentation platforms, into high volume reporting, and analytics systems. We work in an agile, DevOps-oriented environment with an emphasis on quality engineering, sustainable delivery, and continuous improvement. You’ll help ensure our systems are reliable, observable, secure, and capable of handling data at large scale. This role will help DS strengthen today’s quality engineering foundation while evolving toward a more automated, telemetry-driven, and AI-enabled delivery model. We do not expect every future capability to exist on day one; we are looking for someone who can improve the current system while helping define and pilot the next generation of quality practices. You will collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features in an agile, flow-oriented delivery environment using Jira, GitLab pipelines, and AWS SaaS architecture. The Person You are a team player who cares about the customer and business outcomes. You enjoy working closely with teammates to build relationships while finding and fixing important problems. You often experiment with the latest technology and methods to logically and efficiently improve process. You prioritize prevention of risk over late detection of defects, and you are comfortable coaching teammates, improving quality practices, and helping teams build quality into the platform from the start. You are also comfortable operating in a transition state: strong in today’s quality engineering practices, while curious and pragmatic about how AI, automation, and telemetry will change quality over the next several years. Key Responsibilities * Validate quality across signage components such as content repository, design, scheduling, integration, deployment, player performance, reporting and analytics. * Troubleshoot in AWS including CloudWatch, DynamoDB, MySQL, IoT Core, S3, and CloudFront to find problem sources and contribute to resolutions. * Flag testing, risk, and observability considerations early in design and planning including writing lightweight test strategy and plans. * Ensure effective automation at the appropriate layers (API/service, data validation, and UI as needed). * Explore and responsibly introduce AI-assisted quality practices where they create measurable improvements in speed, coverage, reliability, or insight, while preserving human judgment and appropriate review gates. * Champion a whole-team quality approach. * Contribute to non-functional testing (performance, scalability, resilience, security). * Facilitate collaborative quality activities (exploratory testing, risk workshops, bug bashes). * Help define and mature automated quality gates, regression suites, and evaluation-style checks that can support both today’s delivery process and future AI-assisted development workflows. * Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering to translate product intent into clear, testable acceptance criteria and risk-based test strategies. * Use production telemetry, customer workflow data, observability signals, and CI/CD feedback to prioritize testing and identify quality risks earlier. * Partner with Engineering and Product as we pilot AI-assisted delivery workflows, helping assess where AI can safely support test generation, defect triage, documentation, MR review, and delivery reporting. Technical Skills / Experience * 7+ years in Software Testing/Quality Engineering. * Hands-on experience validating complex SaaS platforms, distributed systems, APIs, data workflows, and user-facing product experiences. * Experience with AWS services (e.g., CloudWatch, DynamoDB, MySQL, IoT Core, S3, and CloudFront). * Experience with GitLab (or equivalent CI/CD platform) for automated testing and delivery. * Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and API/service testing. * Proficient in at least one programming language (preferably in Java and TypeScript). * Experience building or contributing to automated testing frameworks (API/service and data validation). * Automation experience with Playwright for API and UI testing; familiarity with Selenium-based frameworks is helpful. * Experience with load/performance testing. * Strong grounding in agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices. * Experience establishing a whole-team quality strategy and coaching teammates. * Ability to build a strong understanding of customer workflows and use production telemetry to guide testing. * Practical experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, CodeRabbit, GitLab Duo, or equivalent. * Ability to review AI-generated tests, code, documentation, or analysis for correctness, maintainability, security, and fit to customer intent. * Experience collaborating across distributed teams, using clear written context, async-friendly documentation, and structured handoffs to maintain quality across time zones. Nice to Have * Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry). * Familiarity with testing containerised workloads (ECS/EKS), serverless patterns, or IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform). * Experience with analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau*. * Experience with test data generation techniques and tools, including synthetic data creation, data masking. * Experience driving quality improvements at a team level. * Community involvement (Meetups/Conferences, blogs, Open-Source contributions). * Experience using AI/GenAI tools for synthetic test data generation, test design, log analysis, defect triage, documentation, or automation support.
