EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Degree or HND in Mechatronics, Control, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience. * At least 5–8 years’ experience in electro-mechanical or industrial control systems, preferably with electro-hydraulic integration. * Experience of basic controls system programming, ladder logic and sensor integration. * Experience in mechanical design and verification (preferred). * Hands-on commissioning experience (FAT/SAT), with willingness to travel for abroad for such work. * Strong IT, written, and verbal communication skills. * Full UK driving license (preferred, not required). REQUIRED SKILLS * Extensive experience in the design of electro-mechanical assemblies. * Experience of PLC integration and basic PLC programming. * Experience in the design and verification of mechanical components.    * Excellent communications skills – must interface successfully with other engineers, non-technical personnel and with customers to define and implement solutions. * Demonstrated initiative in solving challenging problems. This role focuses on ensuring that machinery, currently stored or installed in open-air environments without HVAC systems, remains in optimal condition through rigorous preservation protocols. The work tasks may include but are not limited to: Job Description Environmental Protection: Implement measures to protect exposed machinery and equipment from adverse weather conditions and humidity.
