Hos oss vårdas patienter som behöver mer avancerad övervakning och omvårdnad än vad en vårdavdelning kan erbjuda, men som inte är i behov av intensivvård. Vår spetskompetens är neurokirurgi, men vi vårdar även patienter från de flesta andra verksamheter inom sjukhuset. Vi söker dig som vill utvecklas inom avancerad omvårdnad, trivs i en händelserik miljö och har ett intresse för medicinteknisk utrustning. Du behöver inte kunna allt från början - vi erbjuder en lång introduktion och introduktionsutbildning så att du känner dig trygg i din nya roll. Vår avdelning har sex vårdplatser och är belägen högst upp i H-huset. Här värnar vi om en god arbetsmiljö där alla medarbetare ges möjlighet att växa, dela med sig av sina erfarenheter och påverka verksamhetens utveckling. Hos oss övervakas patienterna kontinuerligt och vi har kompetens att vårda patienter med bland annat trakeostomi, ventrikeldrän, ICP-mätning och BiPAP. Det innebär att du som undersköterska får använda hela din kompetens och arbeta nära patienterna i en avancerad vårdmiljö. Arbetsuppgifter Som undersköterska på NIMA arbetar du med både sedvanliga och mer avancerade undersköterskeuppgifter. Arbetsuppgifterna omfattar bland annat: Omvårdnad av patienter med kontinuerlig övervakning av vitalparametrar. Perioperativ omvårdnad. Vård av patienter med trakeostomi. Assistera läkare vid exempelvis inläggning av artärnål och CVK. Dokumentation och teamarbete kring patientens vård. Ingen dag är den andra lik. Du arbetar nära patienterna tillsammans med undersköterskor, sjuksköterskor, läkare och fysioterapeuter, där alla bidrar med sin kompetens för att ge patienterna bästa möjliga vård. Kvalifikationer Vi välkomnar dig som är utbildad undersköterska, gärna med inriktning akutsjukvård enligt tidigare programstruktur, eller är utbildad undersköterska inom den nuvarande programstrukturen. För att kunna bedöma anställningsbarheten måste betyg på din vårdutbildning samt bevis från Socialstyrelsen om skyddad yrkestitel bifogas i din ansökan. Om verksamheten Verksamhetsområde neurokirurgi består av NIMA med sex vårdplatser och våra neurokirurger. NIMA är en intermediärvårdsavdelning som omhändertar svårt sjuka patienter i behov av kontinuerlig övervakning av vitalparametrar och medvetandekontroller men som inte är i behov av respiratorvård. Vi bedriver även pre- och postoperativ övervakning för våra neurokirurgiska patienter. Det neurokirurgiska verksamhetsområdet är nytt och neurokirurgin i Örebro är ständigt växande och under utveckling. Vår verksamhet präglas av ständig utveckling och hög kompetens! Arbetsbeskrivning Du kommer att möta personer med olika medicinska diagnoser av varierande svårighetsgrad där in- och utskrivningar, akut omvårdnad, medicinsk behandling och övervakning fortlöper över hela dygnet. Verksamheten har ett öppet kommunikationsklimat med daglig reflektion och återkoppling där samtliga medarbetare deltar. Det dagliga arbetet är väldigt varierande och du kommer arbeta tillsammans runt patienten med övriga i teamet. På AVA är det tre vårdlag varav ett vårdlag är IMA-vård. På AVA arbetar cirka 50 medarbetare, de är en kompetent grupp som består av professioner såsom undersköterskor, sjuksköterskor och personalsamordnare. AVA är en verksamhet med stor kompetens och hög ambitionsnivå där vi arbetar nära varandra och med tydligt patientfokus. Vi är en flexibel verksamhet som tar ansvar, stöttar varandra och kontinuerligt utvecklar vårt arbetssätt med patienten i fokus. AVA har 16 vårdplatser fördelade på tre vårdlag. Här vårdas patienter som behöver lite mer tid än vad som kan erbjudas på akutmottagningen. På AVA övervakar, stabiliserar, utreder och behandlar vi patienter upp till 1–2 dygn. Patienter med längre vårdbehov på sjukhus flyttas till andra avdelningar. AVA har också en enhet med fyra platser för intermediärvård för patienter som är för sjuka för att vårdas på vanlig vårdavdelning men som samtidigt inte fullt ut kräver intensivvård. Du får en individanpassad introduktion upp till sex veckor, med både teori och praktik tillsammans med erfarna kollegor. Efter cirka ett år på AVA planeras nästa steg, introduktion på IMA där du vårdar patienter i mer kritiska skeden.
