Reform UK is looking for a Video Editor to join our exceptional creative team. This role is all about producing a high volume of sharp, engaging video content that cuts through on social media, at events, and on broadcast platforms. If you can deliver impactful edits quickly and consistently, this is your chance to have your work seen by millions. What you’ll do • Edit video content for digital and live use: social media clips, campaign films, event videos, promotional trailers, and broadcast-ready pieces. • Adapt content for different platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, live screens, and TV) while keeping a consistent look and feel. • Work closely with the wider team to turn around edits on tight deadlines. • Translate complex messages into clear, powerful, and visually engaging videos. • Ensure every edit is polished, accurate, and ready for a national audience. • Bring energy, creativity, and fresh ideas to push our video output further. What we’re looking for • A strong showreel/portfolio demonstrating creativity, storytelling, and attention to detail. • Proven experience editing video in a fast-paced environment. • Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop, and motion graphics a strong plus). • Politically aware — you’ll understand the pace, tone, and impact of working in politics. • Confidence working to tight deadlines and producing a large volume of edits without losing quality. • A strong eye for pacing, framing, audio, and visual impact. Why join Reform UK? This isn’t just another editing role. Politics is 24/7 — and your work will be right at the centre of it. You’ll create content that defines how millions of people see one of the fastest-growing political movements in Britain. From social feeds to national media and live rallies, your edits will have a direct, visible impact. Please provide and attach a PDF portfolio with links to previous video work, or a link to your showreel/website (if you have one) on your application.

We are looking for great people to join our power trading business, but there's probably a few things you should know first... We don’t do things the traditional way. Not in trading, not anywhere really. There’s no big hierarchy, no layers of sign-off, no hiding behind process. We’ve built our own tech, we make our own decisions, and we move quickly because we can. As a company, we are always learning - innovation means constant evolution and change - and as an exciting result, we are looking for experienced team members across the globe with incredible experience in power trading businesses looking for their next move! Are you an experienced professional with experience in Power Trading businesses looking for a new, exciting and start-up role to develop in? At Octopus Energy Trading, we’re on a mission to reshape the future of energy. As part of Octopus Energy Group, we’re creating an innovative approach to trading that will accelerate the transition to a Net Zero world. With the growth of renewables and a push toward decarbonising heating and transport, greater flexibility in the grid is essential. We are building cutting-edge technology to optimise everything from domestic EV charging to grid-scale batteries, to meet the global demand for energy flexibility. We’re looking for passionate and unconventional thinkers to join us on this journey, bringing a diversity of experience and ideas to shape a more efficient, flexible, and sustainable energy system. You might be used to places where trading sits in a box. It doesn’t here. We work closely with the people building the tech, the people talking to customers, the people shaping the future of the business. It means you see more, influence more, and yes, occasionally deal with a bit more chaos too. We’re pretty obsessive. About the market, about the detail, about how things actually work in the real world. We think about the system a lot. A lot, a lot. How energy flows, where it breaks, how it could be better. And then we try to fix it. Please register your interest in a role with Octopus Energy Trading and let us know what unique experience you could bring! A bit more about a role in Octopus Energy Trading... Where do we operate? Originally focusing on the GB market and now expanding into Europe and Asia, we are now looking to take our experience to new countries so would love to here from you, wherever you are in the world! What do we look for? We’re looking for people with awesome experience in the power trading world, someone who can talk through the numbers, the risk, the strategy. But actually, what really matters is how you think. You’re curious. You don’t just accept how things are done. You’ll question it, pull it apart, rebuild it better. You’re a grafter, but a smart one. You know where effort matters and where it doesn’t. You won’t spend hours polishing something no one needs. And yes, writing a long meeting agenda might drain you slightly. You take ownership. Proper ownership. Not “that’s not my job”, more “I’ll figure it out”. Because here, you kind of have to. Our Traders... Our Traders develop transformational solutions and rapidly implement these to meet the urgent and global need for energy flexibility. You’ll be responsible for creating value from Power markets, trading the volatility, and managing our exposure. You’ll also work on the high-level trading approach, supporting in the evolving design and improvement of our in-house analytical tools. Our Data Team... With an increase in variable and distributed supply, using data for trading and forecasting has never been more important. Octopus has always had a tech-first approach, and our trading and analytics tools are all built in-house. We look for experts in building data pipelines bringing together internal and external data to create market leading insights using both classical and ML techniques. This includes looking at demand, renewables and transmission system fundamentals forecasts focussed to begin with on the GB intraday power market Our Battery Team... Flexible assets - batteries, EVs, heat pumps, and more - are key to the reliable operation of low-carbon grids. Maximising the impact of these assets across electricity markets and grid services requires making thousands of highly complex, data-driven decisions and we have built an incredible team who take ownership of this. Our Leaders... Our leaders don’t really look like “leaders” in the traditional sense, which is kind of the point… They don’t sit at a distance. They’re in it. Close to the detail, close to the work, close to the people actually doing the job. They’ll answer customer emails. They’ll jump into problems. They don’t measure themselves by team size or org charts. In fact, the opposite. If something can be simpler, smaller, faster, they’ll push for that. They’re pretty obsessive. About doing the right thing, about making things better, about not letting something slide just because “that’s how it’s always been”. They don’t hide behind process. If something’s broken, they fix it. If something’s unclear, they make a call. They give people a lot of trust. And with that comes a lot of responsibility. You won’t be micromanaged, but you also won’t be able to coast. Team culture and vision are so important to us, here’s what the team has to say… Celyn Simmonds - “Octopus Energy Trading is a new function within the Octopus Group that is tasked with managing all the Group's short term trading responsibilities. We'll be building a 24 hour shift desk, supported by world class developers, in order to optimise our flex assets (think batteries, EV's, heat pumps..), retail, and renewable energy portfolio, as well as taking speculative positions. We're a small, dedicated function who work fast, dynamically and look out for each other; it's a start-up atmosphere with the benefits of the resources of a larger company.” Alissa Tripp - “Working in the Octopus trading team has been a fantastic experience - it's a space where innovation and teamwork create tangible impact, and it is a very collaborative environment to operate in. Being part of such a dynamic team has definitely pushed me to grow in ways I hadn't expected.” This is a speculative posting for now. We’re growing quickly and expect to be hiring in this space across different countries, so tell us where you’re based and we’ll be in touch when the right role comes up
