Why Doktor.se Doktor.se is Sweden's largest digital healthcare provider. We combine physical clinics with a digital platform serving millions of consultations per year — backed by a profitable, international organization with 1,000+ employees and over 1B SEK in revenue. Our 25-person engineering team operates with startup autonomy inside enterprise stability. We're actively integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into patient and clinician experiences — and the mobile apps are where patients interact with all of it. The role You'll join a small, high-ownership mobile team: you, our iOS lead, and two Android engineers working closely together across platforms. This isn't a maintenance role. We're actively modernizing our iOS architecture, improving test coverage, and making real decisions about how we structure things going forward. You'll be shaping how we build iOS at Doktor.se — not just writing features to spec. What you'll work on Help settle on a clean, sustainable architecture — we're evaluating approaches now — and drive the migration. Build new features end-to-end in collaboration with product managers and designers. Improve testing practices and ideally bring TDD into the team's workflow. Bring AI capabilities into the patient experience — we're expanding what we do on the platform into the mobile apps. Own the release process and deployment pipeline. Work with our Android team to ensure a coherent experience across platforms. Shape how we build iOS — not just execute tickets. What we're looking for 5+ years of professional iOS development. Solid understanding of architecture patterns — and opinions about what works in practice, not just in theory. Experience across both modern and legacy UI frameworks. Our codebase uses both, and you should be comfortable navigating that. Experience writing tests and ideally bringing TDD practices into a team. Comfortable integrating with backend services. Experience with modular codebases or breaking monoliths into modules. Experience improving and refactoring production codebases — not just greenfield projects. University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience. Who you are You see tech debt as an opportunity, not a chore. You enjoy the work of making things better. You're senior enough to drive work independently, suggest improvements, and push back when needed — but you're not looking to be the lead. You want to build, not manage. You care about craft: clean code, good tests, thoughtful architecture. But you're also pragmatic about shipping. Tech stack Language - Swift UI SwiftUI, UIKit Architecture - MVVM, Combine, Clean Architecture (evolving) Testing - XCTest, UI testing CI/CD - GitHub Actions, App Store Connect Backend integration - REST APIs AI - OpenAI, Anthropic (tooling & platform-wide, expanding to mobile) What we offer Technical ownership. You'll shape how iOS is built here, not just pick up tickets. Direct impact. Small team, millions of patients. Your work is visible immediately. AI-forward environment. We're running LLMs in production today — you'll bring that into the mobile experience. Stable employer. Profitable international healthcare organization, not a runway-burning startup. Collective agreement, 30 days vacation, ITP1 pension, wellness allowance, personal education budget. Practical details Start: As soon as possible. We'll accommodate your notice period. Employment: Permanent, full-time. Six month probation period. Location: On-site, Monday–Thursday at Sveavägen 63, Stockholm. Fridays are flexible. Language: English is our working language in tech. Swedish is a plus for collaborating with clinical and business teams, but not a hard requirement. Work permit: You must already have the right to work in Sweden. We handle recruitment internally — no agencies, no consultants, no external recruiters.
Join the Leadership Team at Velora Health Head of Growth Location: Stockholm Level: Senior, reporting directly to CEO Start: As soon as possible About Velora Health Velora Health is a rapidly growing AI HealthTech startup on a mission to address the leading causes of preventable death. Our goal is bold yet simple: a longer and healthier life for more people, through the fusion of personalized care and a holistic approach to health. We started our journey by tackling one of the biggest global health issues: obesity, which affects nearly 1 billion people worldwide. We're now expanding beyond obesity into broader chronic care. Through our platform and digital health clinic at Velora.se, we provide individuals access to the latest and most effective research-based treatments. We're AI-native. We use AI across the whole company. In Sweden alone, 2 million could live longer with Velora. Today we're a 20-person team across clinical care, engineering, growth and operations. Now we're hiring our Head of Growth to join our Leadership Team. The opportunity Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be part of Velora's Leadership Team and a key voice in strategy and high-level decisions. This is not a support role, we're looking for a leader who challenges, sharpens, and helps drive the company forward. You combine sharp strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll help set direction, then take full ownership of growth and deliver measurable results. We're a subscription business, so retention and lifetime value matter as much as sign-ups. But for us the stakes are bigger than revenue. We're building the lifelong home for people with chronic disease, where staying in care means living longer: for someone with obesity, dropping out of treatment means 5 to 10 years of lost life. That is where great care and growth become the same job, and it is exactly what we built our platform and doctor-led care model to do. What you'll own The growth number, and the overall growth strategy including international expansion Acquisition and CAC across current channels (paid marketing, organic search, referral) Test and scale new growth avenues beyond B2C (B2B, B2B2C, payor and insurance) The in-product growth surface (onboarding, paywalls, activation) Retention, win-back and LTV, together with Medical Operations Referral and word-of-mouth Pricing, packaging and monetization Positioning and messaging Growth reporting and the insight the leadership team runs the business on The growth team and external partners What you'll do Co-shape strategy, priorities and operating rhythm with the CEO and leadership team Run a strong experimentation cadence Work AI-native: decide what in growth should run on AI and build the end-to-end workflows Default to agents: reach for AI agents before headcount, then hire people for the rest Treat growth as a product discipline: work in the product with engineering and clinical on onboarding, activation and retention, not just channels Bring structure, prioritization and momentum where things are undefined Lead cross-functional initiatives across commercial, clinical and product/tech Raise standards, remove bottlenecks, and increase execution speed Be hands-on, this is a builder role, not a "slide-only" role What success looks like First 30 days: Go deep on the product and the patient journey, the funnel and unit economics, and our patients and team. Come back with a growth model and your own read on where the biggest growth is. By 90 days: Deliver 2 to 3 clear improvements to acquisition or retention that move the numbers By 6 months: Growth runs as a gold-standard function with clear unit economics, a strong experimentation engine and a clear plan to scale revenue sharply from here. Who you are You're a high-ownership leader who can zoom out and zoom in, from strategy to execution, without losing quality. You likely have experience from one or more of these environments: A fast-moving scale-up/startup where you've built or scaled the growth function A high-standard organization where you've learned what "excellent" looks like A strategy/analysis-heavy role (e.g., consulting, corporate strategy, analytics) and you've proven you can operate and deliver Most importantly, you bring real craft in growth: Deep experience in B2C growth, since that's where we are today You've personally taken a consumer subscription business through a step-change in scale, while holding or improving CAC and payback You've diversified acquisition beyond paid marketing and organic search, and you treat retention and lifecycle as part of growth, not someone else's job You've built in-product growth with product and engineering: onboarding, activation, paywalls and retention loops You deploy budget against strict payback discipline, not into a target You're AI-forward, you think in automated workflows and in what's now possible in growth that wasn't possible before AI You're metrics-driven, structured, and decisive, and you execute with pace You're fluent in Swedish and English, since Sweden is our home market today, with international expansion ahead. Bonus (not required): Experience across B2B, B2B2C, insurance or partnership models, since those are routes we want to explore Experience in healthcare and HealthTech Experience scaling a function from early stage into growth Familiarity with Swedish/EU healthcare context Location We work together from our office in central Stockholm. Why Velora Real impact: help people live longer, healthier lives High ownership: run one of the most critical parts of the business The team: high standards, low ego, and plenty of fun along the way Meaningful option package (equity) Ready to build with us? Send your application (CV/LinkedIn) and a short note answering: What you would focus on first if you owned our growth, and why One example where you combined strategy + execution to drive measurable results How you use AI in your growth work today, and where do you think it goes next We're looking forward to hearing from you. Best, Vidar Laestadius CEO and Founder of Velora Health

If you're passionate about impact and innovation, we'd love to meet you! ABOUT THE ROLE You care about things being done properly. Not just documented, but correct, traceable, and defensible. In previous roles, you were likely the person who made sure nothing slipped through the cracks - the one who understood that in regulated environments, details matter because they compound into trust. At Tandem, you’ll bring that mindset to the forefront of one of the most important challenges in modern healthcare: building AI-powered medical software that is not only fast-moving and innovative, but fully compliant with European regulation. As an MDR Compliance Associate, you’ll play a central role in maintaining and organizing the technical documentation behind our software as a medical device (SaMD) products, ensuring documentation stays accurate, up to date, and audit-ready as our products evolve. You'll support change management activities, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and help ensure that every update we ship remains compliant with MDR requirements. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on structure, takes real ownership, and wants to work close to both product and engineering, making sure our documentation reflects the reality of the product while enabling the team to move fast without compromising quality or compliance. If you get excited about bringing order to complex documentation, working closely with technical teams, and helping build systems that clinicians and patients can trust, we’d love to meet you. WE'RE UNLOCKING ACCESS TO THE NHS, BECAUSE HEALTHCARE IS NOT TRULY FREE UNTIL IT'S TRULY ACCESSIBLE 💙 The world’s best healthcare, for free. It's not a new idea, it's called the NHS. But the largest healthcare provider is fundamentally broken. Patient satisfaction is at an all time low, and the biggest reason cited is lack of access. So we’re on a mission to fix it with technology that actually works. We're building the front door of UK healthcare, creating a future where one billion NHS appointments are transparent and instantly bookable, and patients are guided to the right service first time using AI. We're developing critical national infrastructure. Today, 26% of GP practices in England use our patient registration software, while one in five GP practices in London use Bookable Search to help new patients find and book appointments seamlessly. Our latest product, Bookable Navigator, extends this vision by automatically booking appointments for existing patients. We operate from within a working GP practice in East London 🏥 We're backed by Y Combinator, Innovate UK and the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, and were previously ranked the 8th fastest-growing startup in the UK and 33rd fastest-growing in Europe 🚀 ⛩️ OUR PRINCIPLES Exciting challenges lie ahead.
