You'll be the primary talent partner for roles including Full Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, and Integration Engineers. This is a hands-on, full-cycle role — from building sourcing strategies to closing offers — based in our Vancouver office on a hybrid schedule. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and product roles, including Full Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, and Integration Engineers. * Hiring Partner Strategy: Partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and build effective hiring plans. * Proactive Sourcing: Engage passive candidates through creative channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, Findem, GitHub, niche communities, referrals, and networking events). * ATS Optimization: Manage and optimize the candidate pipeline within our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby), ensuring accurate data, timely follow-up, and a smooth candidate experience. * Candidate Evaluation: Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess technical fit, motivation, and alignment with company values. * Process Coordination: Coordinate and guide candidates through the interview process, keeping all stakeholders aligned and moving efficiently. * Offer Management: Negotiate offers and manage the closing process, balancing candidate expectations with business needs. * Pipeline Building: Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, including specialized or hard-to-fill roles. * Metrics & Analytics: Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness) to continuously improve hiring efficiency. * Candidate Advocacy: Champion a positive, professional candidate experience at every stage of the process. * Market Insights: Stay current on hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and the competitive talent landscape in tech and construction technology. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech environment. * Proven track record recruiting for Full Stack Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Management, DevOps, or Integration Engineering roles. * Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) — experience with Ashby or Greenhouse is strongly preferred. * Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels, with a proven ability to engage passive candidates. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence hiring managers and candidates alike. * Adaptability in working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent searches. * High attention to detail and organizational skills in pipeline management and reporting. * Location alignment: Ability to work in-office/hybrid from our Vancouver location. NICE TO HAVE * Background or prior recruiting experience within Construction Technology (ConTech) or SaaS. * Familiarity with technical hiring assessments and technical interview loops. * Experience building recruiting processes or playbooks from the ground up. * An existing network within the Vancouver tech community. Furthermore, you have professional proficiency in English, proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing software services and cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure as well as hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, including automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure management in Azure environments. Technical skills: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Experience deploying, building, and managing software services in Azure environments Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices Experience with Docker and containerized applications Strong focus on automation and infrastructure management Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible Understanding of the Java application lifecycle and related deployment processes Interest in, and practical use of, AI-powered tools to improve productivity, automation, and engineering workflows If you have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field it will be advantageous.
