ABOUT BEHAVOX Behavox is a cloud-native AI company providing an integrated controls platform for global banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance businesses, and commodity firms. The platform unifies communications and trade surveillance, compliant archiving, policy management as well as front-office analytics on a single, AI-native technology stack, delivered as a globally scalable SaaS-based cloud service. At Behavox, our engineering culture is built around speed, experimentation, and technical excellence, following agile principles and rapid iteration. We constantly test and adopt the latest cloud technologies and AI tooling, optimising for fast feedback loops and execution. We look for people who can move fast, challenge conventional wisdom, and who want to work at the frontier of modern AI, SaaS platforms, and distributed systems. Behavox is a high-performance organisation with a strong bias toward delivery, ownership, and responsibility. We commit, and we execute. We are building systems that are complex, mission-critical, and global in scale; systems that many consider too large or too difficult. To do that, we seek the smartest, most technically capable engineers and technologists who take end-to-end responsibility and want to win by building what others cannot. Founded in 2014 and backed by SoftBank Vision Fund, Behavox is headquartered in London, with offices worldwide, including New York City, Montreal, Seattle, Singapore, and Tokyo. ABOUT THE ROLE The Client Solutions Analyst 2 is an individual contributor within Professional Services responsible for delivering managed services to clients related to the Behavox platform personas. Based in Japan, this role supports regional and global financial services customers by enabling Power User, Admin, and Data Admin personas through structured training, technical configuration, and ongoing operational support. The role owns defined workstreams within managed service engagements, including platform configuration, data review, troubleshooting, and operational enablement of client personnel. The Analyst will operate as a primary specialist in one persona area (Platform Admin, Power User, or Data Admin) while maintaining working proficiency across the remaining personas to provide secondary coverage as engagement needs require. The Analyst is responsible for supporting the establishment and operationalisation of the client-side Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the selected personas, with CoE ownership residing with the client post-handover. This position operates with day-to-day autonomy on assigned tasks while escalating complex issues via the PSP Jira Service Desk to on-call senior team members. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Behavox Platform Functionality (Power User, Admin, Data Admin Personas) – In-depth understanding of workflows, permissions, alert management, data quality, and reporting capabilities required to configure and support key client personas. Applies this knowledge to deliver accurate configurations and structured enablement * Financial Services Compliance Risks – Knowledge of market abuse, communications surveillance, and regulatory obligations relevant to global and Japanese financial institutions. Familiarity with JFSA regulatory expectations and their implications for surveillance programme design is required. Uses this understanding to align configurations and training with client risk frameworks * Managed Services Delivery Models – Knowledge of recurring service structures, scope management, and client support processes. Understanding of the distinction between Managed Services (Behavox-operated personas on behalf of the client) and Training & Certification packages (client-operated personas with Behavox enablement), and the ability to position each appropriately. Supports ongoing engagements by maintaining continuity, documentation, and service quality * Technical Documentation Standards – Understanding of structured documentation for configurations, training materials, and process guides. Produces accurate and reusable documentation aligned to delivery standards * Model Risk Governance and SR 11-7 Alignment – Understanding of model risk management principles, including SR 11-7 frameworks as they apply to surveillance scenario validation, outcomes analysis, and alert tuning. Ability to liaise with client Model Risk Management teams and support the auditability of Behavox Quantum detection models WHAT YOU'LL DO * Platform Configuration Ownership – Independently configures workflows, user roles, rules, and reporting elements for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment to defined requirements. Accountable for validating configurations prior to client deployment * Client Operational Enablement (CoE Personas) – Delivers structured operational enablement sessions for Power Users, Admins, and Data Admins within active managed service engagements, ensuring users can operate and manage the platform effectively. Owns preparation of materials and post-session follow-ups. Note: formal Bootcamp-style Training & Certification delivery (two-day, in-person courses leading to persona certification) is a separate service line and may be assigned as an additional responsibility where appropriate * Managed Services Support Execution – Provides day-to-day operational support for managed service clients, including issue resolution, configuration updates, and user enablement. Manages assigned requests within the PSP Jira Service Desk, operating within agreed scope, SLOs, and t-shirt sizing frameworks. Demonstrates sound judgement in determining when to resolve independently versus when to escalate to engineering via other relevant tickets (IWP or CS) * Business and Technical Requirements Translation – Converts client requirements into documented configuration tasks and structured solution outlines. Ensures traceability between client needs and implemented system changes * Data Administration and Ingestion Control – Owns end-to-end oversight of assigned data integrations, including monitoring data adapters, reviewing daily data quality and completeness reports (including the Daily Summary Report), and identifying ingestion anomalies. Performs root cause analysis on ingestion failures (e.g., schema or API changes), and ensures appropriate escalation and remediation WHAT WE OFFER * The opportunity to work on a global, mission-critical AI platform alongside the best engineers and technologists across multiple geographies * A role with real ownership and impact, building complex systems at scale in an environment that values speed, experimentation, and technical excellence * A highly attractive benefits package, including competitive cash compensation, an equity award aligned with long-term value creation, and comprehensive health insurance for employees and their families * Modern, comfortable office in Tokyo, with an expectation of working from the office 2 days per week, reflecting our belief in strong in-person collaboration, while remaining flexible to accommodate occasional personal circumstances that may require working from home * A generous time-off policy of 30 days annually, plus public holidays and sick leave, recognising the importance of sustained high performance ABOUT OUR PROCESS Our selection process is designed to rigorously assess a candidate’s depth of technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and alignment with Behavox’s mission and core values. As part of the process, candidates will first participate in a series of interviews focused on evaluating their expertise. Candidates who successfully progress through these interviews will then be invited to complete a live exercise. The purpose of this live technical assessment is to validate the candidate’s stated competencies and assess their ability to solve complex problems with speed and accuracy. Note that whenever possible, we aim to conduct interviews in person at our offices. We recognise and respect the time candidates invest in this process. In return, Behavox commits significant time and resources to ensure that those who join us have the capability, judgment, and alignment required to operate at the speed and level of complexity our work demands. We value efficiency and clarity on both sides; if at any point we determine that a candidate is not a fit, we reserve the right to immediately conclude the interview or the technical assessment. Please note the following: * A core objective of the process is to objectively assess individual knowledge and competencies. The use of AI tools or external assistance during live interviews or technical exercises is strictly prohibited (unless explicitly instructed otherwise) and will result in immediate disqualification. * Interviews and technical sessions may be recorded for internal review to support fairness, consistency, and collaborative decision-making within the hiring team.
