Snowflake is seeking a Director, Technical Revenue Accounting to lead the company’s technical revenue accounting function and
serve as the trusted advisor on complex accounting matters across the business. This strategic leadership role partners closely

The Partner Development Director role involves driving and nurturing relationships with our System Integrator (SI) partners. Your primary objective is to strengthen and expand the collaboration between Snowflake and these partners to drive growth. HERE ARE SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH: * Strategic Go-to-Market: Work closely with Accenture to build comprehensive joint business plans. Collaborate on joint GTM strategies including strategic objectives and target markets/industries. Define joint industry solutions and offerings with that demonstrates capability while differentiating the partner. Achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities; this is a quota carrying position. * Practice Development: Inspire Accenture to grow their practices with Snowflake. Evaluate their expertise, capabilities, and delivery quality and activate the GTM programs accordingly. Define certification growth plans and support enablement of the partner. Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key Sr executives and decision-makers at the partner. * Results-oriented Partner Management: Effective and proven Partner Management skills will be necessary to manage the alliance development lifecycle. This will require the ability to be a self-starter focused on building and owning the 360-degree relationship. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services, legal and marketing, to ensure a seamless partner & customer experience. Share partner & customer feedback and insights with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement. This candidate will collaborate with a team of technical experts to drive solution building with our partners. * Co-Marketing Initiatives: Coordinate and execute co-marketing activities, including events, webinars, and content creation, to increase brand visibility and generate leads. * Deal Support: Assist Accenture in navigating Snowflake’s partner program & sales process, including deal registration, proposal support, reporting and alignment with Sales Leadership. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle. * Deliver on Performance: Monitor the performance and success of Accenture related to specific metrics. Important to have the ability to shift priorities, take risks and think outside of the box to deliver on key criteria. DESIRED EXPERIENCE: * A minimum of 20 years of partner experience, strategic alliances, sales, marketing, business development in technology * Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) * 8+ years channel sales or channel program management experience with accountability for revenue targets * Track record of success and established relationships with Snowflake’s System Integrators. * Working knowledge of Cloud environments is preferred. * Ability to manage global and regional business plans, track and articulate partner progress. * Strong executive presence and polish. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. In this role, you’ll lead complex ASC 606 assessments, develop clear and comprehensive technical revenue memos, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to determine the appropriate revenue treatment for new products, pricing models, and commercial arrangements. You’ll play a meaningful role in shaping our revenue recognition policies and scaling our quote-to-cash systems as the business continues to grow. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FIGMA: * Own and evolve ASC 606 revenue policies for SaaS and consumption-based models, including credits, usage-based pricing, variable consideration, and contract modifications * Lead technical accounting research and author clear, decision-ready memos, policies, and playbooks (e.g., SSP frameworks, non-standard deal guidance) * Review complex enterprise and strategic contracts, advising Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal on structure, risk, and revenue implications * Define revenue recognition approaches for new products and offerings, including performance obligations, SSP, principal vs. agent considerations, and contract changes * Translate complex accounting guidance into practical recommendations and scalable processes for cross-functional partners * Partner with auditors to support revenue positions, including leading position papers, walkthroughs, and evidence strategies, while ensuring SOX-compliant controls * Build and develop a high-performing technical revenue team, coaching managers, and raising the bar on judgment, communication, and technical rigor WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: * CPA certification with 12+ years of progressive accounting background, including deep expertise in technical revenue accounting under ASC 606 * Strong command of US GAAP and SaaS revenue models, including multi-element arrangements, SSP, variable consideration, contract modifications, and usage-based pricing * Proven ability to evaluate complex contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment across a range of scenarios * Track record of influencing and defending accounting positions with external auditors and senior stakeholders * Skilled at translating complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-accounting audiences WHILE NOT REQUIRED, IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE: * Background in public accounting (e.g., Big 4) combined with in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company * Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based revenue models at scale * Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with evolving products and business models * Experience leading managers and developing technical accounting talent At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
