Job Scope High level purpose of function. A Vision Automation Engineer in a cell manufacturing company plays a key role in developing, optimizing, reverse-engineering, and maintaining machine vision and optical inspection systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. They are responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and improving cameras, lighting configurations, and image processing algorithms, supporting both legacy production line re-commissioning and new vision system installations. The role also includes ensuring accurate data transfer, system connectivity, and smooth communication with PLCs, SCADA, and upper-level MES platforms to enable inline defect traceability, dimensional inspection, and digital integration. Close collaboration with production, engineering, and maintenance teams is required to identify and implement solutions that improve quality, throughput, and equipment uptime. A strong focus is placed on continuous improvement, safety, and scalability to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle battery production. The Role As an Inspection Engineer at Nevita, you will take on a long-term consultant assignment supporting a major industrial client in an active refinery environment. Position Summary As a Geotechnical Supervisor at Palsatech Sweden, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily operations within our Palsacenters, ensuring the efficient delivery of core handling, sample preparation, storage, and support services for mineral exploration and mining projects. The role combines operational leadership, personnel management, health and safety responsibility, quality control, and customer collaboration and taking part into the actual work. We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Field and Quality Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, and motors. The role requires strong technical expertise, field experience, and a commitment to ensuring equipment is delivered and maintained to the highest standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Field Engineering: Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of rotating equipment at project sites. Conduct on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and performance assessments. Supervise contractors and vendors during mechanical equipment installation and start-up. Provide technical support to field teams and interface with engineering and maintenance departments. Ensure compliance with design/requirements Quality Engineering: Perform inspections and quality control checks on rotating equipment and associated systems. Review and approve Quality Control (QC) documentation such as ITPs, FAT/SAT reports, NCRs, and final dossiers. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes (API, ISO, ASME), and project specifications. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, site inspection reports, and quality audit summaries. Maintain records of equipment history, failures, and corrective actions. YOUR MISSION Job Title: Streetworks Specialist Location: Office based (Coalisland or Penrith) Role Summary: As a Streetworks Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the GB Build with streetworks requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and resolution of concerns or issues. The role: • Raising, closing and managing permits from end to end including start/stop, PMR, variations, etc • Processing TTRO and TTRN applications to various Highways Authorities • Completing risk assessments in line with SWUK protocol • Managing our works around other activities while focussing on collaborative working • Understanding of permit scheme legislation and the requirements for managing permit conditions • Liaising with the councils in Cumbria to discuss works and amend where necessary • Provide streetworks administration support in accordance with business operations • Ensure compliance with all elements of streetworks legislation through effective management of notices, permits and other documents • Have the ability to react and deal with issues arising as a result of our works. • Investigate reinstatement defects, including accepting, disputing, passing to 3rd party and updating trackers • Notifying relevant parties of over-runs and ensuring the appropriate council are updated with action taken • Reporting low and high risk fails in a timely manner, including the processing and accepting or disputing of the fail on the Aurora system • Deal with customer complaints in relation to Streetworks activities and have the ability to resolve these in a quick and timely manner • Liaise with operations, local authorities and third parties to arrange bus stop / parking suspensions / road closures and use of portable traffic signals • Liaise and arrange traffic management alongside the traffic management team • Support the development of processes, workflows and efficiency improvements • Provide technical support and guidance to Operations in relation to streetworks offences and associated costs such as FPN,S74 and inspection failures, with the ability to investigate. • General administrative duties YOUR PROFILE The person: • Previous demonstratable experience in a similar role • Previous experience utilising Aurora and One Network • Strong relationship with councils in Cumbria • Good knowledge and understanding of TTRO / TTRN legislation • Strong working knowledge of NRSWA, TMA and SROH legislation with the ability to transfer these skills into day to day decision making • Driven and able to work autonomously with high level of attention to detail • Competent or advanced competency with Microsoft Office applications • Excellent communication skills across all levels • Demonstrable organisation and time management skills • Have the ability to work on their own while still achieving deadlines • Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks and focus on performance delivery while promoting efficiency improvements Additional Information: This is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.
