The Quality Fabrication Manager will oversee quality assurance and control of all materials and equipment manufactured for the project, ensuring fabrication complies with contractual and CE marking requirements, technical specifications, inspection plans, and industry standards. A key part of the role is coordinating with suppliers, inspectors, logistics, and procurement to ensure all items are inspected, documented, and released before shipment.
You will support the Project QA/QC Manager in implementing the quality management system for the fabrication phase, resolving quality issues, and ensuring timely delivery of compliant materials.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain quality procedures for fabrication activities
Review and approve suppliers' ITPs, welding/NDT procedures, coating plans, and fabrication documentation
Coordinate inspections, FATs, dimensional checks, and material certificate traceability
Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and QMS updates
Work with procurement, logistics, and planning to ensure timely material release
Lead the fabrication quality team and third-party inspectors
Conduct supplier audits and monitor performance
Prepare quality reports and attend project meetings
Requirements
8+ years in fabrication quality management or similar roles
Background in structural steel, piping, mechanical packages, pressure or electrical equipment fabrication
Solid knowledge of QMS, inspection/testing methods, welding/NDT, coatings, and traceability
Leadership and team management skills
Ability to interpret technical documentation and inspection plans
Experience in EPCM / PMC projects
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (or similar)
Quality certifications (ISO 9001, CSWIP, NACE, IWE/IWT) are a plus
Fluent in English
Gel Line Lead Tech 1st Shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm – Starting at $23 / hour JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership and direction for the team members in the Gel department. This position will be the go-to person for all issues involving materials, quality and production runs. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Verify correct setup of gel machines for production runs by using documented setup procedures. * Verify the Gel tank farm is operating correctly and escalating any issues. * Verify all Gel lines have the materials needed to produce daily orders. * Basic troubleshooting of gel machines and palletizers when they malfunction. * Complete all necessary paperwork and submit it to the Shift Supervisor or Quality Manager. * Correctly enter all data into computer system for reports, ensuring accuracy of data. * Collaborate with Maintenance on machine functions and troubleshooting processes. * Participate in Daily Management meetings and present the gel Daily Management Board. * Maintain 5S standards for the gel department and conduct 5S audits for other departments. * Communicate with leadership during your shift on any issues in production. * Ensure all team members adhere to all safety rules and policies. * Performs other duties as assigned by leadership including assisting other departments when instructed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or G.E.D. * Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral * Technical background – Preferred * Leadership experience – Preferred * Experience with Microsoft Office PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to stand or walk for entire shift. * Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping. * Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble parts. The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication projects, with success measured by safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, including estimating, detailing, engineering, procurement, production, quality, and logistics, to drive project success and strengthen client relationships. Salary range: $100,000-$120,000 Summary of Duties: Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated electrical construction projects. Make sure goals are achieved in a timely manner and within budget by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Manage budgeting and scheduling. Administer contracts, buyout, documentation, meetings, billings, change conditions, labor productivity, cost control and project closeout. Primary Responsibilities: Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of staff teams on assigned projects. Initiate, review and oversee required project administration and documentation to avoid claims and protect the best interest of RK Electrical and our client. Ensure contract agreements are expeditiously secured, reviewed, processed and executed. Review, edit, finalize and distribute project budget. Subcontract agreement negotiation, preparation, processing and execution. Ensure required submittal review, processing and approvals, and submittal logs are set-up and maintained. Develop, submit and obtain approval of billing schedule of values. Maintain an over billed cash position, and request retention release bill-down/payments. Collect payments, progress billing and retention receivables, on or before due dates. Price, negotiate and process change condition and change order work. Ensure assigned projects are properly staffed with appropriate field forces. This includes: 1) review, updating and approval of labor resource loading; and, 2) labor productivity. Oversee tools and rental equipment use on all assigned projects. Ensure that any tools and rental equipment not required, or not being utilized, are returned immediately. Responsible for overall financial performance of all assigned projects, including continual cost control, management and forecasting. Prepare accurately, and submit on time, all required project monthly contract valuations. Review, approve and process all subcontractor and supplier invoices. Attend monthly project management meeting and respond to any questions associated with assigned projects. Conduct regularly scheduled project staff meetings.
