About Aphex
At Aphex (https://www.aphex.co/), we believe the best way to improve construction delivery is to give people the tools and time to
do their jobs. That's why we're on a mission to transform how engineers and site managers plan, communicate, and track their work
every day.
Our customers are the industry's giants — building the tunnels, roads, bridges, and power stations that define our cities. Our
users are the engineers and project managers who make these projects happen. Since launching in the UK in 2019, we've become the
dominant platform for infrastructure and major construction projects across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, with most of these
countries' major infrastructure projects now running on Aphex.
We're now expanding into Europe and Asia. We've found strong product-market fit, proven we can scale internationally, and are
building the team to do it again. Construction contributes around 10% of global GDP, yet has barely moved the needle on
productivity in decades. We're changing that and the market is responding.
The Role
You've spent years on construction sites. You know what it's like when the Monday planning meeting falls apart, when the
subcontractor programme is three weeks out of date, and when nobody can tell you what's actually happening next week. You've lived
that frustration. We need someone who's been on the other side of the hoarding to help our biggest accounts get the most out of
Aphex and grow with us as we scale internationally.
At Aphex, we believe deeply that we are in the business of successful construction project delivery. As an Account Manager, you'll
embody this principle, focusing first on helping projects succeed, which naturally leads to enterprise growth and expansion
opportunities.
You'll join a high-performing UK go to market team of sales and customer success professionals, stepping into a pivotal Account
Manager role. We've crafted and refined our playbooks to ensure you can transition smoothly, with the support and structure needed
to excel. It's perfect for someone with a deep understanding of construction, eager to leverage their experience in a fast moving
and rewarding environment.
For someone ambitious and ready to make an impact, it's the perfect moment. You'll have the opportunity to influence major
infrastructure delivery across the UK, working with the country's leading contractors. While initially focused on UK accounts,
there's clear potential to expand your scope to our growing European customer base as we continue to scale.
What You'll Actually Do
Your core job is to make projects succeed on Aphex. When projects succeed, the account grows, new divisions, new seats, new
products. You own that cycle for your accounts.

About Aphex At Aphex (https://www.aphex.co/), we believe the best way to improve construction delivery is to give people the tools and time to do their jobs. That's why we're on a mission to transform how engineers and site managers plan, communicate, and track their work every day. Our customers are the industry's giants — building the tunnels, roads, bridges, and power stations that define our cities. Our users are the engineers and project managers who make these projects happen. Since launching in the UK in 2019, we've become the dominant platform for infrastructure and major construction projects across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, with most of these countries' major infrastructure projects now running on Aphex. We're now expanding into North America and Europe, and growing our product footprint. We've found strong product-market fit, proven we can scale internationally, and are building the team to do it again. Construction contributes around 10% of global GDP, yet has barely moved the needle on productivity in decades. We're changing that and the market is responding. The Role To get here, we've built our GTM engine bottom-up. It started founder-led, then we created strong playbooks that let others join and be successful, and today it's a circa-20-person team across sales, customer success and account management in two GTM hubs — UK and Australia. Those foundations are our strength: a team that helps projects deliver better, mixing ex-construction people who've stood in the site cabins they now sell to with people who've learned the industry at Aphex. The strategic building and leadership of this engine has been — and is today — owned by our founders and company leadership. That means the highest-leverage work, coaching and strategising, competes for time with everything else it takes to run a company. This role exists to change that: take the engine, own it, and scale it. You'll own a regional revenue number — new business, expansion, retention — leading a GTM hub of sales, customer success and account management, with player-coach team leads at its core. You'll start with one region, with the scope to grow into leading more as we expand. Our motion is land and expand: win a team, turn the team into a project, turn the project into a company-wide deployment. Most of our revenue is multi-year enterprise agreements, and we're growing on two fronts at once — new regions and new products. And the prize is real: save for a few companies from a prior generation, examples of meaningful scale and impact in construction technology are few and far between. This is an opportunity to help build a team and a company, and do career-defining work that has real-world results. What You'll Actually Do * Own your hub's revenue engine — the number, the playbook, the cadence, and the coaching infrastructure that lifts every rep * Coach and develop the team — player-coach leads who carry their own numbers, and ICs mastering a new craft * Debate strategy with the founders as a peer, then execute with genuine autonomy * Port what works between regions as your scope grows Who This Is For * A coach by instinct — your leverage is the leaders you develop, not the deals you close * You've scaled a multi-region GTM in vertical software from ~£5–10M to £40M+ ARR, building the operating system yourself * You've run a land-and-expand motion in a project-driven enterprise environment — you know adoption earns the expansion * An AI zealot, or on your way to becoming one — rebuilding how sales teams learn and execute with the new tooling * A missionary, not a mercenary — here for a career-defining build in a founder-led, high-feedback environment What We Offer * The chance to write the GTM playbook for an entire category, not run someone else's * Genuine autonomy — we agree the vision together, then trust you to execute * Senior-scale base + OTE + meaningful equity * A team that gets it — we win together, make ourselves proud, take ownership, and build for tomorrow * Remote-first flexibility — regular presence in our central London office and time in-market with your team * The right tools — MacBook Pro, proper setup, modern tech stack, and an AI-forward operating culture
OUR MISSION At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved. We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility. The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it. We’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for. Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who’ve grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE TEAM AND LIFE AT OMNEA HERE. THE ROLE As Omnea's Customer Value Lead, you own the relationship with our customers across their entire lifecycle, working with some of our largest and most strategic accounts. Your job is to make sure customers get real, measurable value from Omnea from day one, and to turn that value into renewals, expansion, and upsell. Omnea's product is sticky: it's a business transformation, not a point tool, so once a customer is live, expansion tends to follow. Your focus skews heavily toward that expansion motion, not just keeping accounts renewed. You'll build deep, long-term relationships with your champions and become a trusted advisor to stakeholders at every level, from procurement managers up to CFOs. You'll be the internal voice of the customer, working closely with both technical and commercial teams to keep Omnea customer-centric at its core. This is an early hire on the customer team, working directly with Abs, Ben, and Rebe to build the function from the ground up. There's no fixed playbook yet: you'll help write it. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own a revenue number: You'll carry an NRR quota covering both expansion and retention across your enterprise book. That means proactively identifying upsell opportunities, running commercial conversations at exec level, and owning the renewal process end-to-end. * Build relationships that go all the way to the top: Your relationships will run from procurement managers to CFOs. You'll multi-thread across each account, building genuine trust across multiple stakeholders, and you'll be the person customers call when something goes wrong or when they're thinking about what's next. * Build the playbook from scratch: There's no fully built playbook yet - you'll help shape it. You'll work alongside an exceptional implementation team, product experts, and leadership that have scaled world-class companies to define the commercial rhythms, norms, and processes to set the standard as the function grows. * Shape what Omnea builds next: You're the closest person to what our customers will and won't pay for. You'll feed that signal directly to Product and Revenue leadership, surfacing what's blocking adoption, what's driving expansion, and where we should be investing. WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS ROLE * This isn't a traditional post-sale account management role. Omnea's product is a business transformation, not a point tool, so most of your quota comes from expansion, not just renewal. * We're not looking for a narrow "Account Manager" background. We want people from GTM roles broadly or from customer-facing roles with heavy commercial/GTM crossover. * There's no fully built playbook. You'll define the commercial rhythms and processes as you go, working directly with Abs, Ben, and Rebe. * You'll be as close to the product roadmap as anyone outside Product itself: what you hear from customers directly shapes what gets built next. ABOUT YOU We don't expect you to know exactly how to do all of this when you join. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and skillset to take this on. TL;DR: you're commercially sharp, and you instinctively know how to navigate complex organisations. You might come from a GTM role (sales, customer success, partnerships) or a customer-facing role with heavy GTM crossover. What matters is that you've worked in real enterprise environments, managed senior stakeholders with high expectations, and have a track record of getting things done. * 4-8 years of experience in a top-tier, fast-paced environment: a startup, scale-up, VC, consulting, banking, or something you built yourself * If you've been in a commercial role, you've worked six-figure ARR+ accounts, navigated multi-stakeholder buying committees, and built genuine executive relationships * You build rapport, influence people, and drive change, whether with a distinguished exec or a junior operator. You have the gravitas to engage senior leadership, ideally up to CFOs, Legal, or Procurement * You're comfortable in ambiguity. You don't need a fully built playbook: you'll build it as you go and improve it as you learn. You're organised enough to manage a complex book of business without dropping anything, and confident enough to push back on customers when they're wrong * You're ambitious, competitive, and care about doing excellent work, with a track record of high performance in whatever you've turned your hand to: sales, academia, sport, or something of your own. You take ownership seriously, and you'd rather work hard on something meaningful than coast on something safe At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out. A FEW THINGS TO NOTE: * We offer competitive geo-localised benefits, and you can check out our UK Benefits Package here and our US Benefits Package here. * We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices.
