We are expanding our commercial team and seeking a highly driven Director of Sales to lead the sales team to drive global revenue
growth.
You will be responsible for leading the sales team’s success in achieving quarterly sales targets, collaborating with internal

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will own a defined international territory and be responsible for generating mainly new business across research institutes, universities, national laboratories and commercial quantum computing companies. You will also build and manage strategic relationships with ecosystem partners, distributors and technology partners that help expand QuantWare’s reach. You’ll work closely with the field, application engineer and product teams to bring cutting-edge quantum technology to organizations shaping the future of computing. What you'll be doing * Own and grow an assigned international territory. * Develop and execute a territory plan to exceed revenue targets. * Generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, conferences, industry networks and referrals. * Build relationships with professors, principal investigators, research directors and technical decision-makers. * Manage the complete sales cycle from first contact through contract signature. * Coordinate complex technical evaluations with our engineering and applications teams. * Build and expand strategic channel and technology partnerships. * Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting in HubSpot. * Provide structured market feedback to Product, Marketing and Leadership. Your Profile * 5+ years of enterprise B2B technology sales experience. * Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota. * Experience selling complex technical solutions. * Strong hunter mentality with exceptional prospecting skills. * Experience working with channel partners and strategic alliances. * Willingness to travel internationally. Nice to have * Experience in quantum computing, semiconductors, photonics, scientific instrumentation, deep tech or advanced hardware. * Experience selling into publicly funded research organizations. * Knowledge of government procurement or grant-funded purchasing processes. ABOUT THE ROLE The Director of Sales is responsible for leading a regional sales organization based in London, with accountability for Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives supporting the UK, Nordics, Middle East, APAC, and Africa. The role owns regional sales execution, pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and attainment of revenue objectives across the assigned territories, ensuring consistent execution of the company's sales strategy while adapting to regional market dynamics. The Director executes the regional operating cadence established by the Chief Revenue Officer and Global Head of Sales, ensuring consistent inspection, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reviews across both the Account Executive and Sales Development Representative organizations. The role is accountable for regional execution, sales forecasting, pipeline health, coaching and development, and delivering regional sales outcomes. The Director is expected to actively engage in strategic sales opportunities, partnering with Account Executives throughout complex deal cycles, providing executive-level deal coaching, helping shape win strategies, and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at customer and prospect organizations to advance high-value opportunities and improve win rates. Territory Planning and Account Coverage — Partners with the Head of Global Sales to execute territory planning, account prioritization, and resource allocation across Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives, ensuring effective market coverage and alignment with regional growth objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO 1. Regional Sales Leadership — Leads teams of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to achieve regional pipeline and revenue objectives through performance management, coaching, and consistent execution of established sales methodologies. 2. Strategic Deal Execution — Personally supports high-value and complex sales opportunities by partnering with Account Executives on deal strategy, qualification, negotiation, and executive engagement, taking ownership for advancing critical opportunities while developing trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at customer and prospect organizations. 3. Pipeline Generation Management — Owns regional pipeline generation performance by establishing prospecting priorities, monitoring Sales Development Representative execution, and ensuring a sustainable flow of qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline. 4. Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Governance — Owns regional forecasting processes, validates pipeline quality through disciplined inspection, and provides accurate revenue projections aligned with the operating cadence established by the Chief Revenue Officer and Global Head of Sales. 5. Territory Execution and Capacity Management — Partners with the Head of Global Sales to execute territory plans, optimize Account Executive and Sales Development Representative capacity, monitor regional coverage, and recommend adjustments that improve sales productivity and market penetration. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Own and grow your territory like it’s your own business — working with an existing pipeline and expanding it * Sell across the full range of Qsight data services, including both syndicated and custom data solutions * Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with brand and business leaders * Prospect proactively and consistently to build a healthy, sustainable pipeline * Engage and sell directly to senior leadership and C-Suite stakeholders * Write and structure proposals that clearly articulate value and drive deals forward * Serve as a front-line source of strategic insight — feeding learnings from the market back into both sales strategy and product development WHAT YOU HAVE: * 4+ years of experience selling syndicated and/or custom data to brands * A demonstrated ability to tell a story with data, not just present it * Strong, self-driven prospecting skills and a hunter mentality * Proven experience selling to senior leadership and C-Suite audiences * Excellent proposal writing and structuring skills * An entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable owning and growing a territory independently * Experience selling to CPG or Professional Beauty brands is a plus, though not required WHAT WE OFFER: The annual base salary for this position is $110,000-130,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for a yearly bonus based on performance.
