With Octopus Money, you get a personalised plan and a friendly expert to help you make it happen. We combine advisers, coaches and technology to understand your situation and recommend the right steps for your savings, investments, pensions and more. We believe everyone deserves personal, 1-to-1 advice with their money. THE ROLE AND OPPORTUNITY You'll be responsible for driving new business across the UK, managing the end-to-end sales process, and building trusted relationships with HR and Reward leaders. We believe you should have access to every size of opportunity, big or small. Bring the value, and you get a slice of it, every single time. You'll thrive here if you back your gut, adapt fast, and are used to working without a playbook. As an early-stage business, you'll wear many hats - outreach, multi-threading, hosting events, shaping the sales narrative, negotiating contracts, and working with tech and ops to solve for the customer. DAY TO DAY YOU WILL * Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close * Research, plan, and collaborate with the SDR and marketing team to create outreach campaigns for target accounts across financial services, professional services, legal, recruitment, media, and tech * Lead discovery conversations that challenge and educate HR and Reward teams * Tailor our value proposition to specific client needs and sectors * Build a tailored business case connecting our solution to the business objectives * Build and nurture a high-quality pipeline of opportunities * Consistently hit and exceed revenue targets * Lead and coordinate internal resources, including SDR, operations, and launch/success teams, to ensure seamless deal delivery * Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities * Participate in client-facing activities such as dinners, breakfasts, and industry events to strengthen relationships and drive engagement * Feed insights back to the product team based on client needs and market demand ABOUT YOU A GENUINE DESIRE TO HELP PEOPLE You're driven by your targets and the company's OKRs, but you care just as much about doing right by the customer. Sharp and quick on your feet You read a room fast, trust your gut, and find creative ways to stand out and figure things out without a script. Earns trust You know when to challenge your prospect's thinking and push back when it matters. You know when a "no" from you builds more trust than a "yes." Own your destiny You take full responsibility for your number, and you'll roll up your sleeves to hit it. Move with urgency and focus You take initiative, prioritise ruthlessly, and pivot fast when the plan changes. Build relationships that stick You earn trust with senior stakeholders through credibility, insight, and always having their best interest at heart. Tell stories that captivate You bring a proposition to life and hold the attention of busy decision-makers. NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS * Proven track record in a closing sales role, ideally in a startup or scrappy, fast-moving environment * Comfortable diagnosing a problem before pitching a solution, rather than running a fixed script * Comfortable working in ambiguity, building process as you go rather than following an established playbook * Confident thinking on your feet and adapting your approach mid-conversation or mid-deal * A relentless, high-urgency approach to your work, with the judgement to know what matters most * Sharp instincts with people, you read situations quickly and adjust your approach accordingly Some of these traits can't be taught. If you've got them, we'll teach you the rest. NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) * Experience selling into multi-stakeholder sales cycles * Experience selling to HR buyers in the workplace * A track record of being a top performer (president's club, #1 rep, similar) rather than just tenure in a role * Experience selling a category-creating or newer product, where you're educating the market rather than responding to existing demand We want people to grow here, to feel supported and to feel proud of the impact they make! You’ll get: * 18 days a year working from anywhere (for non regulated roles) * Bonus for non-commission based roles * Company pension * Private medical insurance * Enhanced parental leave * Birthday day off * A supportive team who care about what they do * The chance to help people improve their lives Please note, as a regulated business we are required to run background checks for all employees which covers adverse financial and unspent convictions. This is a true top-tier enterprise sales role, selling directly to some of the largest organisations on the planet — including global brands like Disney, Uber and Standard Chartered — and closing seven-figure, board-level partnerships. You’ll operate as a trusted C-suite advisor, with rare access to CHROs and executive teams at the very top of the market, and work alongside Unmind’s most senior commercial leaders to close some of the biggest enterprise agreements in our history. What you’ll do: * Partner with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs and Boards as a strategic advisor, shaping executive-level business cases grounded in financial and organisational impact — with genuinely exceptional access to senior decision-makers. * Originate, develop and close net-new enterprise opportunities, including global, multi-year agreements with some of the world’s most recognisable companies. * Lead highly complex sales cycles across multiple buying committees, geographies and functions (HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Risk). * Apply value-based, outcome-driven selling to close $1M–$5M+ ARR deals, with experience across $10M+ total contract value. * Influence Unmind’s enterprise go-to-market approach, mentoring senior sellers and raising the bar for how we win at the very top of the enterprise market. This role is for a proven enterprise closer who thrives in ambiguity, brings sharp commercial judgement, and wants to sell a genuinely meaningful, Tech-for-Good product — shaping the future of workplace mental health at the highest level. 🌟 ABOUT YOU In the spirit of equity and continuous growth, we invite you to remove education from your CV. Qualifications are not a factor in our decision-making. However, some experience in the following is important for this position: * Has proven success selling to C-suite and Board-level stakeholders in complex, enterprise B2B environments. * Brings 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with clear evidence of: * Extensive experience selling to HR, People, Rewards, Benefits, or Wellbeing teams in large enterprises * 20+ seven-figure deals closed * Multiple eight-figure total contract value deals * Demonstrates exceptional business and financial acumen — able to speak credibly about ROI, operating models, productivity, risk, and enterprise transformation. * Is a hypothesis-led, consultative seller who challenges customer thinking and shapes strategy, rather than responding to RFPs or feature requests. * Has deep mastery of complex sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC, Challenger, Value Selling) — and knows when to bend the rules. * Is highly experienced working with broker networks, benefit consultants, and strategic partners to influence large enterprise buying decisions. * Excels at multi-threading and executive storytelling, tailoring narratives for HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and the C-suite. * Operates with autonomy, judgement, and ownership — comfortable making high-impact decisions with limited oversight. * Is motivated by mission as well as mastery, and inspired by the opportunity to improve mental health outcomes at scale while building a category-defining company. This role is not about running deals handed to you. It is about creating demand at the highest levels, influencing how enterprises think, and closing the kinds of agreements that materially change the trajectory of a company. Tip for candidates: If you’re unsure whether to apply – do. We know great people don't always tick every box. 💚 LIFE AT UNMIND We believe wellbeing and performance go hand-in-hand – and we build our environment to support both.
