Arbetsuppgifter Som systemspecialist med fokus på datakommunikation och IT-säkerhet arbetar du med att analysera behov, ta fram förslag och implementera IT-infrastruktur och tjänster som stödjer organisationens uppdrag. Du bidrar till att säkerställa att kommunen har en ändamålsenlig, säker och relevant IT-infrastruktur samt plattformstjänster som möter verksamhetens behov. Du fungerar som en viktig brygga mellan teknik och säkerhet, med fokus på att stärka och skydda vår IT-infrastruktur och våra tjänster. Med bred kunskap inom IT och teknik samt fördjupad kompetens inom infrastruktur, datakommunikation och IT-säkerhet omsätter du verksamhetens och IT-organisationens behov till tekniskt hållbara lösningar. Du arbetar även med omvärldsbevakning och drift inom området tillsammans med övriga teamet. Tillsammans med gruppen bidrar du också till att beskriva och utveckla den infrastrukturella arkitekturen. Den grupp du kommer att ingå i arbetar bland annat med: - Förvaltning av våra datakommunikationsplattformar från Cisco, F5, Infoblox och Check Point. - Övervakning och felavhjälpning, inklusive tredje linjens support. - Deltagande i implementerings- och utvecklingsprojekt. - Omvärldsbevakning och förvaltning inom datakommunikation och IT-säkerhet tillsammans med andra i teamet. - Att omsätta lagkrav och verksamhetskrav till tekniska lösningar. - Att proaktivt identifiera tekniska brister genom skanningar och analyser samt föreslå och genomföra åtgärder tillsammans med teamet. - Att vara en teknisk brygga och stödja verksamheterna i att förstå tekniska risker. - Att agera teknisk expert vid IT-relaterade säkerhetsincidenter och stödja eller driva det tekniska utredningsarbetet. Kvalifikationer För rollen krävs: Akademisk utbildning inom relevant område eller motsvarande arbetslivserfarenhet som arbetsgivaren bedömer som likvärdig. Flerårig erfarenhet av tekniskt arbete inom relevanta IT-områden. Erfarenhet av IT-verksamhet i stora och/eller komplexa organisationer. Förståelse för IT samt hur verksamhet och IT interagerar. In this research project you will work on the intersectional area of antenna design, circuit design and signal processing to investigate novel nonlinear multi-antenna transmitters that overcome these limitations. By utilizing antenna mutual coupling for effective amplitude modulation – a shift from the traditional view that considers it detrimental – you will overcome existing limitations in frequency, efficiency, power, and linearity, thereby fostering sustainable digital transformation. About the research project You will work in a complementary team to investigate a new transmitter topology. Your responsibility will be to design microwave components such as power amplifiers and antenna arrays but also derive the theory how to feed the individual amplifiers for the most energy efficient transmission in a certain direction. The goal is to develop a new scalable transmitter architecture that embraces mutual antenna coupling as a means of load modulation - allowing neighboring elements to efficiently create modulated signals similar to classical Chireix outphasing, but using the antenna aperture as combining element. The position is hosted at the department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience where you will have access to state of the art microwave measurement facilities at the Kollberg lab. The project is supported by collaboration agreements with semiconductor manufacturers that allow fabrication in CMOS, GaAs and GaN processes. Contract terms The Doctoral student positions are fully funded from start.
