With your natural warmth and sense of hospitality, you will play a key role in shaping a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where people connect, relax, and enjoy. Your main responsibility is to support the bartending team in delivering seamless service. You will ensure the bar is always prepared and fully stocked with everything needed throughout service, while maintaining a clean, organised, and professional environment where the team can perform at their best. MAIN DUTIES * Create a warm, inviting, and energetic atmosphere for members at the bar * Ensure the bar is consistently fully stocked, including ice, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware * Prepare and maintain glassware to the highest standard, ensuring everything is polished and perfectly placed * Clean and organise all bartending tools, ensuring they are always ready for use * Efficiently replenish stock from storage, including beverages, garnishes, and service items * Proactively collect and manage glassware from across the venue * Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation at all times * Support opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service transitions * Keep a pristine and well-organised working environment that reflects Soho House standards * Assist with billing and payment processing using cards, SHApp, and House Pay * Participate in team briefings, tastings, and updates to stay informed and engaged * Support the team by running drinks to tables when needed * Deliver every interaction with warmth, confidence, and professionalism * Take ownership of safety, security, and the overall wellbeing of members and colleagues * Handle VIP and PWK members with discretion, care, and the highest level of confidentiality * Support the team wherever needed, contributing to a positive and collaborative environment EXPERIENCE REQUIRED To thrive as a Barback at Soho House, you will bring some experience in a customer-facing role and a genuine desire to deliver first-class service. Job Purpose:  As a Bartender at Soho House Bangkok, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service and creating memorable experiences for members in line with Soho House standards. You will prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere at the bar. You will demonstrate strong product knowledge to make informed recommendations, support upselling opportunities, and respond to member preferences, dietary requirements, and special requests. In addition, you will ensure the bar is fully prepared for service, well-stocked, clean, and maintained to the highest standards throughout the day, while supporting smooth coordination with barbacks and wider service teams. You will actively contribute to a seamless member experience by handling payments, supporting table service when required, attending team briefings and tastings, and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care. You are expected to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor, in alignment with the scope and objectives of the role. Main Duties: * To fulfil members’ drinks orders accurately and promptly in line with speed of service standards. * To enquire about any allergy or dietary requirements. * To verify the age of guests checking identification if necessary. * To possess a strong understanding of the drinks menu in order to make recommendations on pairings and any other specific member requests. * To enquiring if the members are satisfied with food or drink and following up to see if they need anything else. * To accommodate special requests where possible to creative a positive outcome which will result in a memorable member experience. * To perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations. * To work alongside the barbacks to ensure the bar is stocked up. * To maintain a spotless and pristine working environment. * To provide members with the bill and processing payment via card or utilizing the SHApp and House Pay. * To attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings. * To run drinks for the bar to the tables when needed. * To resolve member complaints where possible, handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. If this is not achievable to escalate to line manager or membership team. * To act in all matters related to safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members. * To support the team with any of their needs on an ad-hoc basis Requirements / Qualifications: A successful Bartender for Soho House will ideally have previous experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You will have strong knowledge of classic cocktails and have experience preparing cocktails and serving in a fast-paced environment.
