Warehouse Associate Night - Part time position Hourly rate of $19.39 plus night premium of $1 per hour Working schedule : Tuesday to Saturday 12:00 am to 5 am About: Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, hand bombing (palletizing) loading, and unloading orders into the trucks. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.   Roles/responsibilities of the ideal hire: * Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or by using equipment such pallet trucks or dolly. * Staging and sorting of items, palletizing freight * Unloading, scan, pick, pack, ship in a safe manner * Handle freight in a safe and appropriate manner * Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, unpacking freight of various sizes * Keeping your work area organized, clean and tidy * Inspect freight for defects and damages and report to your supervisor. * Receive, unload and place freight in the appropriate location on dock.   Who you are * You have 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment with sorting, scanning, packing, shipping, receiving, etc. * You are a team player with a professional attitude & have positive relations with customers and colleagues. * You are described as dedicated, hardworking, and very detail oriented. * You can load/unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs. * You own a pair of safety boots. * You are flexible regarding start/end times (if needed). * You are able to drive to the location.      We Offer * Positive, team-oriented, and safe work environment * Paid training   Why us Cardinal Couriers is a leading Canadian-owned shipping company, operating since 1978 with a family feel.
