Mentimeter is an engagement tool with a clear goal in mind. To turn presentations into conversations. Through real-time interactivity and clear visualizations, we get people to participate, engage and become more productive. Transforming all those passive meetings, airless classrooms and drawn out trainings into valuable and memorable moments. We truly believe that you achieve the best results by doing things together. And that successful leaders need to adopt a curious and collaborative mindset in order to get there. So with you at Mentimeter, you’ll be a big part of the ambition to help over 1 billion people listen, learn and work better together. Mentimeter's largest customers - the global consulting firms, financial institutions, and enterprise organisations that use Mentimeter across dozens of regions and thousands of employees - have outgrown the way we manage them today. They need a strategic counterpart who can think at the account level, not the regional level. This is the first Global Account Director role at Mentimeter, and it's a genuine opportunity to build something from scratch. You will define how we coordinate and grow our most complex global accounts - not by managing teams, but by creating the architecture, the relationships, and the strategy that makes regional execution coherent and impactful. The role You will own a portfolio of five to eight of Mentimeter's most strategically important global customers. Your job is to ensure that what happens in Stockholm, Toronto, Sydney, and Berlin adds up to something greater than the sum of its parts and that our customers feel it. You will work alongside (not above) regional Strategic Account Managers and Customer Success Managers. Your influence is earned through credibility, preparation, and business understanding - not hierarchy. Your initial accounts will be drawn from the management consulting sector - the professional services firms and advisory organisations that rely on Mentimeter to engage, align, and communicate across their global practices. Financial services and pharma follow as the portfolio grows. If you have existing relationships, deep familiarity, or a strong track record in any of these verticals, that matters. What you'll do * Own the global strategy, executive relationships, and commercial direction for a portfolio of Mentimeter's most strategic accounts * Build and maintain multi-year account plans that connect Mentimeter's value to each customer's business priorities * Develop and maintain C-suite and senior executive relationships across regions, functions, and buying groups * Lead Executive Business Reviews that move conversations from product usage to business transformation * Coordinate regional Strategic Account Managers and Customer Success Managers around shared priorities - creating alignment without managing them * Identify expansion opportunities and guide their commercial development across complex, multi-region deals * Define the frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that will shape how Mentimeter manages global accounts long-term * Act as a strategic thought partner to the VP Strategic Accounts on portfolio direction, account prioritisation, and future growth What makes you the right person The non-negotiable is this: you have experience coordinating global enterprise accounts or programs across regions without owning those regions directly. You understand how the pieces fit together - the regional teams, the executive sponsors, the buying dynamics - and you know how to make all of them point in the same direction. Beyond that, we're looking for: * A career built around large, complex enterprise accounts - whether through strategic account management, global alliance management, or enterprise business development * Experience in, or strong connections to, management consulting, financial services, or pharma (Mentimeter's priority verticals for this role) * Evidence that you've built something - a new account model, a new market, a new structure - not just maintained what existed * The ability to operate at C-suite level with credibility and substance, not just access * Genuine interest in a role where your influence comes from being the most well-prepared person in the room, not from having the biggest team * Fluent English; multilingual is a plus (we're an English-first organisation with 30+ nationalities) This is not a role for someone who needs a well-defined playbook to execute. It's a role for someone who writes the playbook. What it's not * You're not a new business hunter - our Account Executives own new logo acquisition * You don't manage people - this is an individual contributor role * You don't own Customer Success, implementation, or technical support Please note that this position is located onsite at our office in Stockholm with a hybrid setup. The starting date is flexible, but ideally in November. Summer hiring notice: Due to summer vacations, we will begin the reviewing and interviewing process for this role from August. However, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. At Mentimeter, we believe in fair and transparent compensation that grows with you. The salary range for this role is SEK86,000 - SEK100,000 per month. It’s intentionally broad to reflect the different stages of growth within the role. Where an individual is placed within the range depends on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. We’re committed to supporting your growth. You’ll have ongoing development conversations with your manager and build skills, contribute to our mission and have meaningful impact. In addition to your monthly salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package - learn more about it here: https://www.mentimeter.com/benefits/stockholm What Mentimeter can offer At Mentimeter we can offer a diverse and inclusive work environment supported by smart and driven colleagues. We believe in continuous professional development for all of our colleagues and therefore offer access to a leadership program (including external personal coach) and relevant education to ensure that we continue to be state-of-the-art when it comes to innovating and building Mentimeter. Your place will be in a growing company with lots of career opportunities, working on a beloved product used by more than 300 million people. It’s not all about work though, we also offer a very healthy view on work-life balance. All of this comes attached with a competitive compensation and benefits package, including pension contributions. Learn more about our benefits by visiting our Benefits & Perks page AI and Hiring at Mentimeter At Mentimeter, we believe AI helps us work smarter - but it never replaces the human assessment, curiosity, and personal connection that define our culture and our hiring. We use AI as a sparring partner: to bounce ideas, bring new perspectives, support structure, and make our work more efficient. But the meaning, decisions, and interactions always come from people. * AI does not screen or decide on candidates. * There is no automated filtering, ranking, or decision-making in our recruitment process. Every application is reviewed by a person. * Hiring teams may use AI to support their work - for example, to structure notes, prepare interview questions, or organize their thinking. AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. At Mentimeter, we’re not building an AI-driven hiring process - we’re building a people-first culture, where technology helps us listen, learn, and grow together. Culture at Mentimeter At Mentimeter we believe in giving everyone a voice - regardless of who you are. So we build a platform that does just that. Our platform is not only our product but also our organization. A platform where people feel safe, where differences are embraced, a place where you can have fun. We strongly encourage applicants who are people of color, LGBTQ+, women, people with disabilities, and/or formerly incarcerated people, and a college degree is not strictly required. In order to give everyone a voice, we need to be as diverse as our users. Learn more about our culture by visiting our Culture page. Review our Privacy Policy for more information.
