High level purpose of function.
Responsible for the development, validation, and execution of the methods used for material analysis, including incoming material, intermediate, and finalized products for Research & Development and Production on a wide range of instruments. Strict adherence to the principles of Quality Assurance in Quality Control (QA/QC). Proven track record in statistical analysis and measurement system analysis (MSA).
Key Responsibilities

Responsible for a set of instrumentation or measurement systems. This involves, but not limited to, coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting, writing support documentation, training and qualifying personnel, performing method development and validation.
Understand and internalize QA/QC principles in everyday functions.
Conduct analysis on a wide range of instruments and report data/results for a diverse set of samples.
Execute the Quality Control and testing plan of material and components.
Maintaining instruments and measurement areas to a high standard, involving ownership of room(s)/area(s) to drive safety related topics, ensure 5S, maintain consumable inventory and standards/reference samples.
Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with R&D technical team, Process Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, IT & automation.
Drive operational excellence and investigations by being a key player in problem solving and process improvement exercises.

Qualifications and experience
Minimum MSc degree or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of work experience in a laboratory, in Chemistry, Material or Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of relevant work experience in relevant laboratory environment.
Experience of laboratory work in relevant industries such as, e.g. Li-ion materials, Pharmaceutical, Food and Paper industries or automotive industries.
Experience in developing methods, standards, procedures, and documentation in an efficient way.
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan (CP), Lean, Six Sigma , Quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology.
Specific skills & Knowledge
Specific knowledge in any relevant instrumentation, measurement system, or scientific field used by the company.
Knowledgeable in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, Total Quality Management (TQM).
Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality projects in a laboratory environment.
Excellent English skills, both written and oral, are essential. Basic Swedish and other language skills are a plus. You should have good communication skills and be able to work in close collaboration with colleagues from many different teams.
Job Scope High level purpose of function. The Production Quality Engineer is responsible for one or more production areas to ensure across the organization that Quality Assurance principles are strictly adhered to. This involves working closely with manufacturing and engineering to support improvement processes to ensure a flawless transition into manufacturing. Specifically, to take part in the specific processes, support in their performance and results, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team to reach targets assigned. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Lead quality assurance activities in production ensure that production/product quality specifications are met. Lead and train quality team members and operations on quality standards and procedures. Perform onboarding and attendance timesheets validation related to led team members. Lead problem solving and root cause analysis activities in relation to deviations and quality issues, e.g., 8D and non-conformity investigations. Contribute to FMEA reviews. Lead launch activities to ensure the deliverables of different projects. Collaborate cross-functionally on shopfloor to improve manufacturing processes and implements solutions. Monitor NCM processes and ensure closing of actions in defined time. Update and monitor the Quality Control plans for each process operation. Define and improve Work instructions and procedures for Quality related activities. Monitor quality procedures, quality KPI's, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals, i.e., Process capability: SPC and Cpk. Define and monitor MSA activities. Job Scope High level purpose of function. A Quality Technician leads product and process quality compliance in production line. This role is responsible for confirming key quality attributes of intermediate products and processes as well as identifying and responding to non-conformity issues in production. In addition, this role is responsible for analysing test material, incoming parts, product intermediates and finalized products for Production using a range of instruments. This role will work closely with production staff and Quality Engineers. A Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that production processes and products meet internal and customers’ quality specifications as well as defining problems, recommending solutions and follows-up on improvements. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities . Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : Lead day-to-day quality assurance activities in production ensuring that production/product quality specifications are met. Ensure control checks are completed according to control plan in defined time. Ensure robust start of production and coordinated quality handover between shifts. Ensure 5S in control and measurement areas and participate in improving 5S methodology and actions together with production team. Ensure documentation and record of product and process quality data and utilize these to improve processes. Potential to operate various measurement equipment such as a Karl Fischer, measurement by ruler or micrometre, microscopes, perform testing with measuring instruments, perform basic data analysis, interpret data and report data/results as instructed. Interpret data and report data/results on yearly, monthly, and daily basis. Understand and execute the testing plans for material, incoming parts, product intermediates and finalized products. Help identify problems with test material, analysis methods, and instrumentation. Organize test results in the expected template and/or LIMS system and maintain control charts. Be able to troubleshoot instrument on basic and advance problems and utilizing the help of suppliers or experts for more major issues. Act on deviations and ensure coordination with customer processes. Ensure imminent containment activities and decision making in case of non-conformities and quality issues. Mentor less experienced personnel on practical aspects of the analysis methods such as sample preparation and running instruments. Maintain the instruments to a high standard. Ensure conformity of cleanliness requirements in process. Conduct Layered Product audit according to schedule. Contribute to improvement actions in area of responsibility. Complete supplementary tasks as seen fit by management to effectively utilize time and resource for the benefit of the business. Familiar with SPC, FMEA, Quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology. This roles scope is supporting quality assurance, product development, and continuous improvement by managing and developing metrology systems aligned with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Develop, implement, and maintain metrology systems and measurement techniques used in battery manufacturing. Create calibration schedules and procedures to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, or other industry standards. Analyze measurement data to identify trends, support root cause analysis, and drive process improvements. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Facility, and Manufacturing teams to define critical-to-quality (CTQ) features and tolerances. Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), validation activities, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies by providing accurate reports and capability studies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety practices, efficiency, and reduce waste. Work with external metrology and calibration laboratories for equipment certification and advanced testing, when needed. Train technicians and engineers in proper metrology and calibration practices and equipment use. Ensure traceability and documentation of all measurement systems and procedures. Qualifications and Experience 3+ years of experience in a metrology or quality engineering role, preferably in the battery, automotive, or electronics industry. Minimum a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metrology, or related field. Hands-on experience with metrology equipment. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred. Specific skills & Knowledge Proficiency in metrology software such as Fluke MET/CAL, Beamex, Druck 4Sight2, or similar. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), measurement system analysis (MSA), and statistical process control (SPC). Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Knowledge of high-precision inspection in cleanroom or dry room environments. Excellent English skills, both written and oral, are essential. Basic Swedish and other language skills are a plus.
