The mission of OrgStore is to provide an easy-to-use, fully-managed platform to store and search data. With Postgres as our cornerstone technology, we focus on transactional (OLTP) data use-cases while providing a custom data plane and a flexible administrative layer. Our users are the thousands of engineers representing hundreds of teams producing products at Datadog. As a platform infrastructure team, our goal is to accelerate product teams by helping them rapidly stand up new features and make step change improvements to their application's performance. As the Engineering Manager for the OrgStore Blueprint Team, you will lead a high-performing team of software engineers, guiding them in building and maintaining these mission-critical systems. Collaboration is key in this role, needing to work closely with other engineering, product, and support teams across Datadog. Your strategic vision will not only guide your team's day-to-day operations but also influence the long-term roadmap of support within Datadog. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.   What You’ll Do: * Guide and mentor a diverse team of 4-8 software engineers, fostering their career growth while ensuring high team performance. * Drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with your team, product managers, and support teams ensuring it aligns with company objectives and directly contributes to improving customer satisfaction. * Engage strategically with complex technical problems and work with your team to produce well-defined and actionable plans. * Be a core contributor and reviewer of code, lead design decisions, and participate in our  well-scoped on-call rotation. * Understand the broader business context to align technical decisions with business goals, supporting long-term objectives and driving innovation. * Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Datadog’s engineering management team. Who You Are: * A seasoned software engineer with experience building developer tools, running databases, and maintaining infrastructure with a focus on reliability and fault tolerance * A proven leader with the ability to manage team dynamics, set goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive and productive work environment * A capable project manager who can plan, organize, and oversee multiple software engineering projects * An excellent communicator who is comfortable interacting with team members, stakeholders, and upper management alike * Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows and validate, critique, and refine AI-generated output * Bonus points: you’re motivated to push the boundaries of how AI can improve software engineering best practices and contribute to building AI-enabled products Datadog values people from all walks of life. Datadog is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our Code Coverage team, which is building the next generation of AI-powered developer tooling. This team owns Datadog’s Code Coverage product across the entire stack, helping customers track and enforce test coverage. Code Coverage is part of the Software Delivery suite, which enables engineering teams to move faster and more securely. In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team in an ambiguous environment. You’ll set technical direction, drive execution, and remain hands-on. You will partner closely with customers and product management to evolve the product into an automated system that leverages production signals and AI to improve test quality, relevance, and performance. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.   What You’ll Do:  * Lead and develop a team of four engineers in Madrid, supporting their growth through mentorship, regular 1:1s, and clear performance feedback, while fostering a strong culture of ownership and quality * Guide the evolution of Code Coverage into an AI-powered system that uses production data and LLMs to identify coverage gaps and improve test effectiveness * Partner with product management and customers to define and evolve the roadmap, aligning stakeholders and translating strategy into clear priorities * Stay hands-on by contributing to architecture and design decisions, and by participating in the on-call rotation Who You Are:  * You have a strong interest in AI and agentic engineering, and are curious about how LLMs and autonomous systems can improve developer workflows * You have experience leading an engineering team as a tech lead or manager, with a track record of developing engineers at different levels * You are an excellent leader with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams and set priorities effectively * You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and can drive execution in evolving environments by forming clear value hypotheses and iterating quickly * You have hands-on experience with Java or Go, worked on large scale distributed systems, and are willing to stay close to the code and participate in an on-call rotation * You have strong product sense and communication skills, and can collaborate effectively with product managers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders   Datadog values people from all walks of life.
