About the team
Our finance team is responsible for shaping our understanding of how Stripe is performing as a business, as well as what our best
opportunities are for continued growth. We're looking for an experienced financial controller to join our International Accounting
team. As a key part of our controllership team in Dublin, you will help us build our technical accounting and financial reporting
processes, work with business partners, financial partners, external stakeholders, and our engineers. You will help us develop
best-in-class accounting processes and help track our progress within a fast-paced environment that's growing globally.

As our International Accounting Lead, you will own the end-to-end financial close and statutory reporting processes for our
international entities, while leading and developing a high-performing controllership team. You will serve as a technical

We’re looking for an experienced Entity Controller to join our International Accounting team. As a key part of our controllership team in Dublin, you will help us build our technical accounting and financial reporting processes, work with business partners, financial partners, external stakeholders and our world-class engineers. You will help us develop best in class accounting processes and help track our progress within a fast-paced environment that’s growing globally. WHAT YOU’LL DO Responsibilities * Lead Financial Close Processes: Manage the monthly close of US GAAP books and local books, including balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, flux analysis, and reporting deliverables. * Statutory Audit Process: Own the financial statement preparation, technical memos, audit support, culminating in presentations to the board of directors. * Technical Expertise: Maintain fluency with US GAAP and IFRS/ FRS102, producing necessary technical accounting memos. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, and Legal teams on diverse projects. * Outsourcing Management: Carefully supervise finance outsourcing partners to ensure compliance and filing requirements are met timely and accurately * Process Efficiency: Enhance existing processes through simplification and automation to drive efficiencies. * Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on changes in accounting and tax regulations in Ireland. * Tax Review: Oversee the preparation & review of direct and indirect tax returns. WHO YOU ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Experience: 8+ years in accounting, preferably trained in audit (Big 4 preferred) and industry experience. * Systems Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of accounting systems (Oracle or equivalent). * Audit Knowledge: Experience with large audits (central and local teams) and tax filings. * Accounting Expertise: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and FRS102/ IFRS. * Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional initiatives. * Communication Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication in English. * Adaptability: Flexible with changing requirements in a fast-paced, growing environment. * Certification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA * Consolidation Experience * Degree in Accounting or Finance background * Problem Solver: Strong passion for solving complex challenges * Self starter Preferred Qualifications * Background: Knowledge of or experience in the payments, fin-tech, or financial services industries. * Tech Experience: Accounting experience in a fast-growing tech environment. * Technical Skills: Hubble/SQL experience beneficial.

This role blends accounting leadership, projects, and internal consulting. You’ll lead cross-functional projects to improve balance-sheet reconciliations, streamline one‑off adjustments, and design scalable end‑to‑end processes that reduce cycle times and strengthen controls. If you’re motivated by systems transformation, measurable impact, and working in an agile environment with varied products and stakeholders, this role gives you the autonomy and scope to make it happen In this Role, you’ll get to: Financial Accounts * Prepare complete details and accurate accounts for all entities, including a group consolidation * Manage month-end and year-end closes in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and regulated environment, and drive continuous improvement of close processes * Report accurate, timely and insightful monthly management accounts and financial updates for management review * Motivate management accounting/nominal ledger team to take further responsibility for accounts input and preparation processes, and ensure career development in a supportive manner * Manage and liaise with auditors, IT review and tax computation processes from planning to filing in an efficient and effective manner * Collaborate with other finance managers to support overall department goals and objectives * Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions * Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Accounting Controls * Ensure accounting, associated IT systems and internal control environment are in compliance with Corporate policy as well as SOX requirements and US GAAP. * Responsible for review of journal entries * Review reconciliations of all significant account balances including bank accounts and fixed assets, debtors and creditors, and report significant exceptions to management * Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues Tax * Understand key concepts of tax returns (i.e. corporate income tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes) in foreign jurisdictions where the company has legal presence * Provide tax team with accurate information for the purpose of tax compliance in local and foreign jurisdictions Projects * Manage and implement the Company’s initiatives and projects from finance and accounting perspective. This includes providing requirements, designing and performing UAT, designing new workflow, monitoring post-go-live processes, and troubleshooting * Identify and drive process and technology improvement opportunities What you’ll Need to Succeed: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 6+ years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of full-set accounting and financial reporting. * Practical knowledge of internal controls and compliance and familiarity with international accounting standards. * Experience working with ERP systems and contributing to system, process improvement, or cross-functional projects. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve processes and adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. * Excellent command of written and spoken English. THE ROLE We’re seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead our revenue accounting team and own our revenue recognition strategy, processes, and systems. Reporting to the Finance Director of Order to Cash, you will manage a team of two Revenue Accountants while ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 accounting standards and optimizing revenue processes across the organization. You’ll lead a revenue finance team of approximately three people and work closely with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Legal, Product, and the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition. This is a player-coach leadership role: you will manage, develop, and set direction for the team while staying hands-on with technical accounting, complex contracts, and large-scale data analysis in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
