In this role, you will drive the overarching creative strategy, copy development, scripts, and voice for the Snowflake brand. You will work alongside our talented brand content writers who establish our deep-dive storytelling foundation and our design team who own the visual expression to elevate our collective output with high-concept creative direction. You are plugged into the macro tech landscape and industry trends, constantly hunting for opportunities to insert Snowflake into real-time tech conversations, timely news cycles, and cultural moments that expand our brand’s reach. You like words, but more importantly, you love the big ideas behind them—the concepts that power scripts, defining headlines, and creative briefs. As a visionary writer and a maker at your core, you use words as a strategic tool to solve complex business problems and convey bold ideas with absolute certainty and purpose. This role reports to the VP of Brand Marketing and is part of the larger Brand Marketing function that includes Brand Design, Brand Content, Brand Video, Brand Management, Customer Marketing, and Web Marketing. WHAT YOU’LL DO * CREATIVE WRITING AND SCRIPTING: FUNCTION AS THE LEAD CREATIVE WRITER AND STORYTELLER RESPONSIBLE FOR SCRIPT WRITING, HEADLINES, AND FOUNDATIONAL BRAND COPY. 1. Voice Activation: Translate Snowflake’s voice into compelling creative across campaigns, events, and experiences. Partner with Brand Design to unify visual and verbal identities, bringing the brand’s bold, straight-talking character to life in every medium. 2. OLYMPIC AND TENTPOLE ACTIVATION: DRIVE THE CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT FOR SNOWFLAKE’S OLYMPIC CONTENT, ENGINEERING HIGH-IMPACT, BIG-IDEA CAMPAIGNS TAILORED FOR SEAMLESS EXECUTION ACROSS DIVERSE MEDIA CHANNELS. 1. CAMPAIGN AND ASSET CREATION: WORK WITH THE INTERNAL TEAM AND AGENCY PARTNERS TO BUILD BRAND CAMPAIGNS AND VIDEO ASSETS THAT ENGAGE AND EDUCATE CUSTOMERS AND PROSPECTS ON THE BENEFITS OF SNOWFLAKE. 1. ASSESS PERFORMANCE METRICS AND APPLY INSIGHTS TO STRATEGY AND PLANNING TO CONSTANTLY IMPROVE ENGAGEMENT. * Creative Mentorship and Growth: Manage, mentor, and elevate junior creatives by fostering their professional development. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * 15+ years of marketing experience, with a proven history in tech and advertising, seamlessly blending agency-side creative execution with corporate-side strategic leadership. * Demonstrated mastery of script writing, copywriting, and leading cross-functional brand efforts. * Proven ability to write and produce creative, high-accuracy content in a fast-paced, startup, agency, or hyper-growth environment. * A results-oriented self-starter mindset balanced with humility, responsiveness, and consensus-building skills. * Strong work ethic with a high degree of technical acumen, creativity, and the ability to juggle multiple inputs from stakeholders against tight timelines. * Exceptional communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas, build relationships across the business, and both influence and listen to find common ground. * A proven track record of advocating for creative teams, developing talent, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to dive into the work. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Creative Writing, Film Production, Graphic Design, or a similar discipline. * Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Google Workspace apps (Slides, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Creative Tools: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma. Experience with Wrike and Canva is a major plus. * AI Adoption and Evangelism: Champion AI tool adoption, building hands-on proficiency, developing workflows, automations, and templates that drive repeatable efficiency at scale. In this role, you will lead our creative producers and traffic manager while serving as “mission control” for all workstreams flowing into the department. As a champion for the design team, you will review and prioritize requests, manage timelines, allocate resources, oversee agency onboarding and management, and streamline communications across cross-functional teams and external partners. You are a natural problem solver who thrives on building workflow efficiency and process documentation. You excel at tackling ambitious projects in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment. You are deeply organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling competing priorities. This role reports to the Senior Director of Brand Design, which sits within the larger Brand Marketing function which also includes Brand Content, Brand Video, Brand Management, Customer Marketing, and Web Experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO PROCESS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT * Strategic Scaling: Scale the creative operations function to support enterprise-level, high-velocity business needs; influence marketing planning cycles and champion cross-functional project prioritization. * Workflow Optimization: Evaluate and modify department SLAs for creative delivery; build workback schedules and lead your team in driving projects to the schedule; publish guidelines and “How to Engage” documentation to the broader marketing organization to manage expectations. * System Ownership: Own the team’s project management system (Wrike), ensuring meticulous data accuracy, robust status tracking, and clear timelines across multiple workstreams. * Asset Management: Collaborate with the design team to evaluate file-naming conventions and optimize backend storage for working files (both internal and external agency files). * Tools and Systems Management: Own the Design team’s core toolstack (including Wrike and Canva); evaluate, procure, and onboard net-new plugins, AI tools, and subscriptions to continuously optimize team capabilities. * AI-Native Processes: Using Snowflake agentic AI products (CoCo, CoWork) conceptualize and build improvements and innovations within our toolstack, from intake to delivery and everything in between. COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION * Team Leadership: Plan and lead daily stand-up meetings, ensuring clear documentation, action-item tracking, and accountability. * Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the bridge between creative and internal stakeholder teams to gather missing requirements, align feedback, and secure project inputs. * Stakeholder Updates: Provide proactive, timely updates to stakeholders and extended team members to keep all projects tracking smoothly. * Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on quarterly performance metrics to optimize department strategy, planning, and resourcing. * Agency Partnership: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with external agency partners while managing contracts, budgets, and project timelines to ensure high-quality delivery. * AI Adoption & Evangelism: Champion AI tool adoption across the creative operations function, building hands-on proficiency and developing workflows, automations, and templates that drive repeatable efficiency at scale. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * 8+ years of marketing or creative operations experience, preferably within the B2B technology sector or a hyper-growth environment. * Essential Expertise: * Proven project management expertise with a strong track record of managing high-volume project pipelines in parallel using tools like Wrike. * Strategic mindset with the ability to develop framework toolkits, guidelines, and processes that enable world-class brand experiences at scale. * Comprehensive knowledge of creative production, including solid understanding of production requirements for both print and digital delivery. * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, listen actively, and build consensus. * Leadership and resilience, comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dive into the work while leading calmly under tight deadlines and pressure. * Core Skills: * Leadership: Proven people management skills and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across teams * Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, communications, or related field. * Experience working within or directly alongside creative organizations (agency or in-house brand team) with firsthand understanding of how brand and creative production operates * Strong familiarity with graphic design, print production, motion graphics, web, and video workflows. * Experience with Wrike (or similar), Google Office Suite, Slack, Figma and agentic AI tools LET’S DO THIS!
