What you’ll do Right now, we are looking for a Head of Quality & Metallurgy to join our Operations & Production organization in Boden. In this role, you will lead the Quality & Metallurgy team and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process performance, and continuous improvement across our operations. You will combine technical expertise with people leadership, helping to shape both our products and our ways of working as we ramp up one of the world's most advanced green steel plants. The Metallurgical Development function provides technical expertise to manufacturing operations while driving mission-focused development with a strong emphasis on quality, environmental performance, and economics. The team develops process control approaches and manufacturing procedures to support fossil-free steel production. You will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards while continuously improving performance and efficiency. * Lead, develop, and support the Quality & Metallurgy team * Drive excellence in safety, health, and environmental performance * Partner with operational managers on technology and process development * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, metallurgy, and manufacturing processes * Ensure the team effectively supports production units and product release activities * Provide technical expertise and guidance in metallurgy, steelmaking, and process optimization * Support the development of manufacturing procedures and process control strategies * Contribute to Stegra's mission of delivering high-quality fossil-free steel What you’ll bring You are a technically strong leader with a passion for metallurgy, quality, and continuous improvement. Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below: * Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field * Extensive experience within steel production, metallurgy, or quality management * Experience working with carbon steels, micro-alloys, HSLA, UHSS, electrical steels, or similar products * Strong understanding of steelmaking and process technologies * Experience with product development in production environments * Knowledge of quality systems, standards, and continuous improvement methodologies * Experience with metallurgical and chemical testing * Familiarity with standards and certifications such as ISO, VDA, IATF, or equivalent * Strong communication skills in English Benefits at Stegra At Stegra, you’ll join a company where your work has real impact on the climate, the industry, and future generations. What you’ll do Right now, we are looking for a Electrical Operations Manager for our Energy & Power Distribution team. In this role you will report to our Head of Energy & Power Distribution and sit within our Mill Services function. As Electrical Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems at Stegra’s Boden site. Beyond overseeing infrastructure and compliance, this role is about leading with purpose - guiding teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation in a critical part of our operations. Acting as the authorized supervisor for electrical installations at Boden Mill Services, you’ll combine technical expertise with leadership to shape a safe, sustainable, and inclusive workplace where both people and systems thrive. Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well. * Lead and support a team of electricians, providing daily guidance, coaching, and ensuring proper training and qualifications. * Act as the authorized supervisor of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with electrical safety legislation and internal standards. * Oversee operations, maintenance, and inspections to guarantee safe, reliable, and continuous power supply for production. * Drive improvements in efficiency, reliability, and maintenance processes through failure analysis, corrective actions, and cost optimization. * Manage external service providers and stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and up-to-date technical records. Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field. * Valid Auktorisation A (Swedish High Voltage Authorization), or eligibility to obtain it. * 3+ years of relevant experience in a comparable role. * Deep expertise in electrical distribution systems across low, medium, and high voltage networks. * Strong background in electrical operations management with thorough knowledge of Swedish Electrical Safety Legislation (Elsäkerhetsverket) and EU directives. * Proven ability to manage contractors and oversee on-site electrical safety responsibilities. * Experience with SCADA systems, including protection, control, and measurement within electrical networks. * Very good knowledge of English.
