NASAD - Software Automation Engineer Level II Position Summary: This mid-level position is responsible for project management, software requirements, design, development, and maintenance for various projects and products at the Mitsui Trade Service Center (TSC) in Nashville, TN, USA. These items include code written in C# (including ASP.NET and REST APIs), SQL, PowerShell, VBA, JavaScript (including React), ACL Analytics (an auditing software package using a proprietary scripting language) and utilize platforms, such as Azure, SAP, and Freshdesk which require the use of development tools including Azure DevOps, Git, and Visual Studio Code. This position emphasizes the ability to mentor other developers and manage mid-sized, technical projects with minimal supervision. This includes our Azure PaaS security (e.g., architecture, monitoring, issue resolution) and Azure AI Foundry solutions (e.g., Document Intelligence, GenAI, etc.). The primary product this position supports is called the Request Management System (RMS) which utilizes the Freshdesk platform (including data pulls via their REST API and custom UI widgets created with their Freshdesk JavaScript SDK) along with Azure services including Function Apps (PowerShell and C#), SQL Database, App Services (React frontend app and ASP.NET/C# API app), API Management Service, Cosmos DB (for JSON storage/update only), Event Grid, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts to assist with transactional data-entry from Freshdesk tickets to SAP via various websites and Azure functions. This role requires a passion for innovation and a strong interest in understanding innovative technologies and how they can best be leveraged to improve business operations. This position also requires a willingness to pivot quickly and work on new projects that may arise due to new interest from other customers within Mitsui. This position reports to the Senior Manager under the Director of the Digital Business Process Reengineering Group (“DBPRG”).
