operational management of employee benefit expenses. This role requires strong communication and reporting skills, along with
excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for benefit-related expenses and
support, as well as the streamlining of expense collection processes, ensuring accurate data flow between teams and departments.

In this role, you will own key benefits initiatives end-to-end, contributing to the team's broader goals with a high degree of accuracy and dependability while working closely with HR partners, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: Programme Management & Operations * Administer global benefits: Support statutory and supplementary benefits programmes, including pensions, health insurance, life/disability coverage, and wellness initiatives across multiple international markets. * Drive operational excellence: Support benefits enrolment cycles and drive continuous improvements to administration processes and systems, leveraging Workday functionality. * Manage vendor relationships: Lead day-to-day liaison with brokers and insurers, tracking vendor performance, and supporting renewal and RFP processes. * Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with HR Ops, HRBPs, Procurement, Legal, Tax, and Finance to ensure smooth programme delivery and act as an escalation point for complex employee queries. Analysis & Communications * Conduct market benchmarking: Run cost and market analysis to assess the competitiveness of current offerings and inform plan design, renewal strategies, and programme enhancements. * Optimise data and insights: Analyse claims and utilisation data to identify trends, track budgets, surface risks, and make data-informed recommendations for health and wellbeing initiatives. * Elevate employee communication: Develop and maintain employee-facing communications, including enrolment guides, FAQs, and digital content, to ensure complex benefits topics are clear and accessible. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Essential * Significant experience in multi-country benefits: Proven ability to manage and administer benefit programmes across multiple international jurisdictions, with a strong understanding of local compliance requirements. * Data-driven mindset: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel, with a demonstrated depth in working with complex data to identify trends, track budgets, and support decision-making. * HRIS capability: Practical familiarity with HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) and how benefits processes integrate with SaaS HR systems. * Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management: Proven ability to manage external brokers and partner effectively with cross-functional global teams across multiple time zones. * Clear, impact-driven communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of translating complex benefits data and policies into clear, employee-friendly language. Nice to Have * Fast-paced sector experience: Background working within a high-growth tech or fast-moving marketplace environment. * System implementation exposure: Experience supporting system enhancements or implementations within Workday benefits modules. Door Systems ASSA ABLOY is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our team. This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller, Dock Products Canada Inc., with additional alignment and collaboration with our Swedish parent organization, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely administration of payroll and benefits across our Canadian operations. Serving as a key partner to HR, Finance, and regional leadership teams, this individual will support payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee benefits administration, and reporting while maintaining strong internal controls and data integrity. Key Responsibilities: * Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly (union and non-union) and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. * Prepare certified payroll reports, payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and year-end filings, including T4s and other statutory reporting. * Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax regulations, collective agreements, and company policies * Administer payroll-related deductions, union dues, and employee benefits, while responding to employee inquiries. * Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes, controls, and system efficiencies. * Partner with HR, Finance, and operational leaders to deliver accurate payroll and benefits administration across the organization. What You Will Need: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. * 4–7 years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administration. * Experience processing multi-provincial payroll in Canada. * Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll, tax, and employment legislation. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience with ADP is considered an asset. * Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. * Strong work ethic with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
