Your New Role  We are now looking for a Senior Test Manager for an extensive SaaS transformation project with our client. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the test strategy, test planning and execution in a business-critical program that impacts central financial processes. The project involves a major modernization where existing billing solutions will be replaced by a new SaaS-based solution. SAP Transportation Management Test Lead – Global SAP TM/BN4L Rollout Are you an experienced Test Lead with a strong background in global SAP implementations and logistics transformation programs? We are now looking for a skilled SAP Transportation Management Test Lead to take overall responsibility for the test scope in a major global SAP TM and SAP BN4L rollout. H&M has started its journey to implement SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) and SAP Business Network for Logistics (SAP BN4L) as part of a larger global SAP S/4HANA transition program. What to Expect The Head of Flight Test (HoFT) is the technical and organisational leader of the Flight Test function at Vertical Aerospace. Reporting to the VP Prototype Programmes and Flight Test , the HoFT is accountable for all matters relating to flight test activity except pilotage. The HoFT and the Chief Test Pilot are jointly responsible for the safe execution of flight test operations as described in the Flight Test Operations Manual (FTOM) This is a senior, regulator-visible leadership role responsible for ensuring that all flight test activity is: * Technically sound * Properly governed * Safely conducted * Within Permit to Fly conditions * Aligned with certification and programme objectives The Head of Flight Test defines the strategy, structure and technical integrity of flight testing, delegating day-to-day sortie execution to Test Directors, Lead Flight Test Engineers and Test Pilots. Regulatory & Airworthiness Interface * Ensure flight test activity remains within DOA Scope of Approval. * Liaise with the Head of Airworthiness on Permit to Fly conditions and limitations. * Ensure harmonisation between Flight Test and Airworthiness procedures. * Represent the flight test function in regulatory engagements, audits and reviews. * Ensure compliance with Part 21 Subpart J and relevant UK CAA guidance. Data & Technical Integrity * Own the integrity of the flight test data lifecycle. * Ensure configuration control, traceability and data quality standards. * Ensure flight test results are correctly interpreted and not over-claimed. * Ensure results are usable for certification compliance demonstration. People & Organisational Leadership * Lead and develop the Flight Test Engineering organisation. * Establish qualification and training requirements for non-pilot crew. * Authorise Lead Flight Test Engineers and propose Test Director designations. * Review and document competence of contracted flight test personnel. * Develop succession planning within the flight test team. * Foster disciplined briefings, adherence to knock-off criteria and clear authority boundaries. This is an exciting time to join us. Your Role As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a complex, safety-critical system. This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of building a complete automated testing ecosystem, from defining strategy and selecting tools to implementing frameworks and writing test code. You will work across the full stack, covering frontend, backend, and system-level validation. Your work will include automated UI testing, backend and API verification, and system-level testing supported by simulations and realistic environments. A key part of the role is shaping how testing is done, defining what to test, how to test it, and how to ensure quality end-to-end across the product. You will collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to build testable, scalable solutions, while integrating continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines. Beyond implementation, you will also help identify gaps in test coverage, improve processes, and contribute to a strong quality culture within the team. What You Bring We believe you have solid experience working with test automation in production environments and are comfortable writing code as part of your daily work, whether in TypeScript, C#, Python, or a similar language. You have hands-on experience with modern frontend testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, as well as experience testing backend services and APIs. You understand how automated testing fits into CI/CD workflows and are familiar with tools such as GitHub Actions or similar platforms. Just as importantly, you have the ability to think strategically about testing in complex, distributed systems and enjoy taking ownership of quality from a holistic perspective. Experience with safety-critical or industrial systems is a plus, as is familiarity with simulators, virtual devices, or hardware-in-the-loop testing. Knowledge of performance or load testing and a broader full-stack understanding will also be valuable in this role. Our Tech Stack You will be working in an environment that includes TypeScript and Vue.js on the frontend, and C#/.NET with ASP.NET on the backend. Communication is handled through technologies such as gRPC and OPC-UA, and testing is primarily done using Playwright alongside internal tools.
