This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving functions. Your Role As a Junior HIL Engineer / V&V Tester, you will work at the forefront of software testing within verification and validation for leading automotive partners. In this role you will play a key role in: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components • Conduct tests to validate and verify software and hardware performance • Analyze and troubleshoot issues to enhance system reliability • Work hands-on with both maintaining and troubleshooting existing HILs, as well as supporting the build of new ones • Apply an analytical mindset to solve complex challenges, where not all tasks have clear-cut solutions and root cause analysis is required Your profile • YH diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Software) or equivalent experience, with 2–5 years of experience in HIL or SIL test environments • Hands-on experience with HIL tools such as dSPACE, National Instruments, or Vector (CANoe, CANape, VTESTstudio), along with knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, C++, C#, or CAPL) • Basic understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS), as well as some experience with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and requirements handling • Ability to work independently within HIL/SIL environments, conduct testing, and troubleshoot software-related issues (test execution, monitoring failures, basic triage), including experience with CI/CD and version control systems • Experience working in vehicle environments, a valid European driving license, and a basic understanding of automotive safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262) are considered a plus What we believe you will enjoy about working here • Innovative projects shaping the future of mobility • Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies • A collaborative environment with continuous learning opportunities • A diverse community of professionals from different backgrounds and experience Application Selection and interviews are running continuously.
