Description: Aquark Technologies is a start-up with a vision to create disruptive technology in sensing and quantum computing by delivering the world’s most portable, scalable and high performing miniaturised cold atom systems. As a Vacuum Process Engineer, you will be responsible for translating vacuum concepts into robust, repeatable, and scalable fabrication processes for miniaturised vacuum systems and miniaturised vapour cells. You will design and implement bonding, sealing, and assembly techniques, ensuring they are reproducible and suitable for future manufacturing. This role sits within a research programme (funded by UKRI FLF) to transform traditional vacuum hardware into compact, robust, and scalable platforms, enabling a shift from bespoke laboratory setups to manufacturable, off-the-shelf solutions. Working at the intersection of vacuum science, materials engineering, and microfabrication within a fast-paced startup environment, you will collaborate with a driven team to deliver innovative, high-impact technologies while contributing to the growth of a dynamic and evolving company. Responsibilities: * Develop miniaturised vapour and UHV cells using microfabrication techniques, including integration of alkali sources and hermetic sealing processes. * Fabricate chambers using MEMS techniques, including testing innovations with active pumping and passive pumping. * Support, as needed, the modelling of sealing and fabrication processes, ensuring simulation inputs reflect realistic geometries, materials, and manufacturing constraints. * Train other staff as needed. Lyten Labs is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in automated industrial (battery) production equipment and utilities. As an Electrical engineer for Facilities, Utilities & Equipment you will own and develop the electrical infrastructure that powers Labs’ facilities, utilities and production equipment. You will deliver safe, available and energy-efficient systems that support pilot-line manufacturing (mixing, coating, calendaring, assembly and formation & aging) and the on-site validation Labs. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Engineer and maintain LV/MV distribution (switchgear, transformers, UPS) and earthing/bonding for production, labs and offices. The work includes the development of a structured formulation library, systematic mapping of key performance indicators, and the implementation of data-driven optimization strategies to identify high-performing systems. Machine learning approaches will be used to uncover structure-property relationships and guide formulation design. We are looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. The Role We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for Candelas Manufacturing Engineering team. You will take ownership of the serial production implementation of a multitude of electrical subsystems such as HMI Controls, High Voltage and Low Voltage Distribution, Low Voltage Cabin System, Navigation systems etc. This is a hands-on role — you’ll design processes, plan and document, but also install and test systems yourself. You’ll ensure that systems are robust, serviceable, and seamlessly integrated within Candela’s electric hydrofoiling vessels. This role involves close cross-functional collaboration with Research & Development, Production and Purchasing to turn R&D designs into reliable, Serial producible processes and designs. Your core responsibilities will include: Lead the development of electrical and electronic systems build processes and assembly processes to series- and project-build production readiness. Collaborate closely with Research & Development to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturability and long-term production stability. Drive technical evaluations at system level, balancing performance, cost, risk, and production constraints. Develop and review technical documentation such as schematics, work instructions, MBOMs, wiring diagrams, test specifications, and production documentation. Participate in technical reviews, verification activities, risk analyses, and root-cause investigations. Collaborate closely with production to ensure smooth industrialization and continuous improvement of electrical systems and manufacturing processes. We are looking for a Senior Production Planning Manager to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. Purpose and Goals In this role, you will take ownership of developing and scaling Candelas global production planning as we prepare for multi-site manufacturing. You will build the structure and processes needed to support our continued growth, ensuring alignment across Sourcing, Production, and Logistics so that production runs smoothly and on schedule. You will also strengthen planning tools and workflows, using advanced Excel models while supporting the transition of planning processes into Odoo. You will work closely with a production administrator in Rotebro and a global controller, reflecting the close link between production planning and financial performance. The role will be an important part of the Operations management team as Candela expands its global production footprint. Your core responsibilities will include: Create, update, and monitor the daily/weekly/bi-weekly and long-term production plan based on manning capacity, material availability, R&D and ME releases. Create KPI and planning reports to the COO and participate as support at performance reviews with the CEO. Analyze stock levels, anticipate shortages, and alert Procurement before issues escalate. Ensure production orders, in Odoo, are created, sequenced, and closed correctly. Track production KPIs and flag risks early. Work closely with the Production team to challenge and adjust priorities when things shift. Prepare planning reports in Excel and support the migration of these workflows into Odoo. Follow up on critical ongoing production activities and keep teams aligned with deadlines. Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes. What are we looking for?
