We are looking for a Product Manager to take autonomous ownership of a core portfolio within the Developer Platform. You will manage the foundational interfaces and connectivity tools that developers rely on to interact with Snowflake. Unlike a typical feature-focused role, this position requires you to own a broader portfolio of products that determine how external applications connect to, automate, and build upon the Data Cloud. Working closely with engineering leadership, you will define the strategy for our programmatic surface area. Your goal is to ensure that as Snowflake’s capabilities grow, our developer ecosystem scales with it, prioritizing reliability, modern standards, and a friction-free developer lifecycle. AS A PRODUCT MANAGER ON THE DEVELOPER PLATFORM YOU WILL: * Own the product backlog and day-to-day execution for a key feature area of our developer platform. * Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and clear specifications for your engineering team. * Become the subject matter expert for your product, serving as the go-to resource for engineering, marketing, sales, and the developer community. * Define and analyze the metrics that measure the success and adoption of your products. * Partner with senior product leaders to ensure your feature roadmap aligns with our broader strategic goals. * Engage directly with our developer community to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and needs. OUR IDEAL PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE: * 3-5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping products or features for a developer-facing tool, cloud service, or technical infrastructure product. We will also consider candidates with 5+ years of engineering experience in developer tools who are looking to transition into product management. * A strong understanding of the modern software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and API design principles. * The ability to be a "technically credible partner" to engineering, capable of engaging in deep discussions about product architecture and trade-offs. * Deep empathy for developers, particularly those working with data, and a passion for solving their most frustrating workflow challenges. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus Points For: * A technical degree (CS or Engineering) or equivalent software engineering experience. * Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or Terraform. WHAT YOU NEED: * You break things, and you want to break them anywhere, in any cloud - and you have solid 5+ years of experience doing that. * You find and exploit bugs in: * Java, typescript, JavaScript, Go, Python or C++ * Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or GCP * Cloud Native Systems and Applications, AI Agents and Agentic workloads, Client Side Applications, Micro Services, Database Systems, Drivers, Connectors, Web Applications, and more * You will have a solid understanding of technologies supporting applications and systems to accurately assess the breadth and impact of risks and solutions. * You are not overly reliant on tools and can use your fundamental understanding of technologies to develop new attack methods. * You are a strong communicator, with a track record of delivering results, who wants to work closely with developers and security engineers on a daily basis. * You have prior experience balancing security and business demands as you perform penetration testing for products going to release. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Perform penetration testing engagements against a diverse cloud environment and find vulnerabilities in software, systems, and networks. * Set scope, priority based test plans, and timelines for penetration testing engagements. * You will figure out how to test new applications, technologies, protocols, controls, and concepts where there is no out-of-the-box methodology. * Work with security and engineering teams to manage product releases, plan engagements, communicate findings and recommendations, and inform stakeholders. * Partner closely with security engineers in the Product Security program to drive reviews, designs, and controls from outcomes. * Focus primarily on penetration testing, but advocate for and support other processes in the SDLC as needed. * Develop automated security testing tools and security automation frameworks to enhance scalability and eliminate recurring vulnerabilities.
