Operations Manager (m/w/d)

By owning its end-to-end operations, including proprietary technology, Rohlik ensures a superior customer experience, affordability, and operational excellence.   ROLE OVERVIEW In this role you will work closely with Area Managers to lead teams of associates, ensure smooth workflow execution, and help optimize daily operations. You will be in close touch with associates, monitor their performance, assign tasks and oversee daily operations within your department. This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills and advance within Rohlik’s operations network.   WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU / THE POSITION TO PERFORM * Acts as a leader on the floor, assisting Area Managers with team coordination, workload distribution, and productivity tracking * Understands end-to-end warehouse processes, from inbound receiving to final dispatch, and ensures compliance with operational standards (5S, safety, accuracy) * Monitors workflow, identifies bottlenecks, and collaborates with management to improve processes and meet key performance goals * Conducts quality and safety audits, ensuring compliance with Rohlik’s policies and standards * Troubleshoots operational issues in real-time and escalates concerns as needed to minimize disruptions * Tracks and analyzes performance metrics (e.g., rates, productivity, error rates) to drive continuous improvement * Assists with shift planning and labor allocation to optimize workforce efficiency * Acts as a point of contact for associates, addressing concerns and providing guidance to maintain a high-performance work environment * Fosters a culture of teamwork, engagement, and positive morale among associates WHAT WE LOOK FOR / WHAT WE REQUIRE REQUIRED * High school leaving exam or higher education * 1+ years of experience in people management, logistics, manufacturing, or operations * Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to analyze data * Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays PREFERRED * Previous experience as a Process Assistant, Lead Associate, or similar leadership role in logistics or warehouse operations * Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking * Understanding of Lean or Six Sigma principles to drive process improvements * Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure What We Offer * A job at a company that is redefining online grocery retail and setting new standards in logistics and customer experience. * A dynamic environment with new challenges every day and exciting opportunities for growth. * Professional development and real opportunities for advancement within the company. * Fair compensation and a dedicated team that values both teamwork and performance. * Participation in legendary company events and a corporate culture based on growth and collaboration. #LI-AR1 #Gurkerl

Department Overview The Facility & Engineering team ensures safe, reliable, and efficient daily operations of fulfillment centers by maintaining infrastructure, equipment, and systems. We minimize operational risks and enable continuous performance through preventive and corrective maintenance. Role Overview As Technician, you will own the maintenance and reliability of warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will perform preventive maintenance, resolve breakdowns, and ensure compliance with safety standards. By securing equipment uptime and functionality, you will directly support the smooth operation of fulfillment center processes. What we expect from you ● Owns maintenance and repair of technical equipment (automation, conveyors, racks, infrastructure). ● Performs preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. ● Ensures compliance with health and safety standards in all facility activities. ● Provides input to facility inspections, reporting, and technical documentation. ● Supports continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen facility reliability. What we look for Required ● Proven experience in technical maintenance or facility operations. ● Strong problem-solving and crisis-handling ability. ● High reliability, attention to detail, and safety awareness. ● Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills. ● Effective communication skills. ● Technical High School Preferred ● Degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics field. ● Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or automation environments.
