Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the
most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission
is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented
opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
The Product Design team is made up of several groups that define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Stripe brand
and product. Product Designers are strategic partners to Engineering and Product Management within their product area. In close
collaboration with product teams, they shape user experiences, then translate them into high-quality designs that can be tested,
shipped, and refined. Designers are responsible for building elegant, functional products that users love—and want to tell others
about.
The Dashboard team ensures Stripe works seamlessly for every merchant—regardless of how their business is structured or which
products they use. Our goal is to make Stripe feel like it was built just for them.

Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career. ABOUT THE TEAM You'll work closely with several teams of engineers and PMs to shape products used by Stripe employees across engineering, operations, finance, and beyond. This is a high-impact role for a designer who finds as much satisfaction in untangling complex workflows and dense information architectures as in crafting polished interfaces. WHAT YOU'LL DO You'll take ownership of two spaces within our internal tooling portfolio—Developer Productivity, focused on ensuring every engineer at Stripe has the tools to be productive, and Collaboration, focused on knowledge discovery and communication at scale. You share work early, give and receive feedback well, and know how to align cross-functional stakeholders * Proficient in Figma and comfortable working within or alongside a design system PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience designing for internal-facing or enterprise tooling environments * You've contributed to a design system, or worked closely to a design systems team * Exposure to information architecture challenges—navigation, search, and content modeling * Background in or interest in developer tooling, ops platforms, or workflow automation
THE ROLE - DESIGNING HOW HUMANS WORK WITH AI AGENTS Procurement is moving from dashboards people click through to agents that take entire workflows off their plate: sourcing, negotiations, market monitoring, supplier management. The agent does the work. The buyer makes the decisions. Designing that shift is one of the hardest UX problems in B2B today. We're not adding a chat sidebar. We're inventing how a non-technical procurement professional supervises a fleet of AI agents and trusts the output enough to act on it. There aren't established patterns for this. We're writing them. Junior designers who join now will have shipped work that defines a category before most of their peers have shipped at all. YOUR IMPACT In your first 12 months, you will: * Own real product work end-to-end - flows, screens, prototypes - for features that ship to paying customers within weeks, not quarters * Design alongside agentic capabilities: how agents surface their work, how humans review it, how trust gets built between the two * Build prototypes in Figma, in code, with AI tools, whatever communicates the idea fastest and best * Get your hands dirty in the codebase for last-mile polish: checking out PRs, tweaking interactions, making things feel right before they ship * Raise the visual and interaction bar across the product as engineering velocity scales 10x WHAT YOU BRING * 0-2 years of product design experience (strong internships count) with a portfolio of shipped work, ideally in B2B, complex workflows, or data-heavy products * Strong instinct for visual and interaction design. You ensure every screen adheres to design system guidelines and every user journey is optimized for clarity and ease of use * You understand the design-to-development lifecycle and value the efficiency of cross-functional alignment to ensure product integrity from ideation to launch * AI is already in your daily workflow. You use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, v0, Figma Make or similar tools for ideation, prototyping, research, and getting to the answer faster * You think in systems, not just single screens. You care about how 20 features feel together * You operate well with ambiguity. We won't always know what to build, you'll help figure it out * You ship. Quality matters here, but stuck-in-Figma perfectionists won't be happy Bonus points if you: * Have prototyped in code (HTML, CSS, React) * Have designed for non-technical users in complex domains * Have opinions about how AI should show up in products beyond chat WHY JOIN NOW * Full ecosystem from day one. Product, engineering, design, and procurement domain experts in one room. No silos & no design backlog * Real ownership. You own features, not pixels of someone else's flow. Your name is on the work that ships * Speed. We ship weekly → your designs land in front of customers within days, not quarters * AI-native by default. Every designer here uses AI as core leverage. We give you access to whatever AI tool makes sense for your flow & actively encourage experimenting as much as possible * The stage matters. We are backed by Sequoia & Index, are already the category leader in DACH manufacturing AI & have big plans to only grow faster from here OUR BACKGROUND Tacto is building the intelligence layer that connects AI to the physical world of manufacturing, starting with procurement. AI is transforming every industry, but it stops at the factory gate. The knowledge that holds manufacturing together - part costs, suppliers, materials - is scattered across systems and people. Over 50% of a product's cost originates from suppliers, making procurement the single largest cost lever in manufacturing and the missing connection between the digital and the physical world. Yet it still runs on Excel and legacy systems. We're changing that with our Procurement Intelligence Platform, trusted by hundreds of companies running billions of Euros of material. Based in Munich, we are 100+ passionate builders who are in-office, with high expectations, fast growth, and a lot of fun. We are supported by >€50m from Sequoia, Index, and Europe's leading tech entrepreneurs and industry veterans. WHY IT MATTERS Manufacturing forms Europe's economic backbone, driving a fourth of Europe's GDP and providing over 30% of jobs. These hidden champions and global market leaders manufacture the physical world around us, from the machines that build our cities to the medical devices that save lives. But the world is changing. The US dominates the digital world of bits. China is scaling the world of atoms, manufacturing at unprecedented speed and scale. Geopolitics are more uncertain than ever. Europe's strength lies in its deep industrial knowledge through generations of engineering. Manufacturing worldwide runs on European machines and software. But that heritage is only an advantage if we leverage it in the age of AI. Tacto builds the AI that connects Atoms and Bits, empowering our Industrial Base to Stay Stronger and building a lighthouse for European tech. WHAT WE OFFER The people at Tacto are passionate about building the organization, growing themselves, and our product while having fun and being real. We have high expectations, great talent density, and a culture where your ambition, performance, and agency are what count - not where you come from or how big your ego is. You'll grow at the forefront of AI, have real ownership and impact, and be surrounded by the best people in their field who challenge you and make you better every day. That is demanding and rewarding, but that's where we thrive. Besides that you have: * Money: Competitive salary & equity in the company with real upside, so you are invested in our success * Workplace: A vibrant in-office culture (> 4 days/week) in a beautiful office in central Munich * Development: A development budget and regular exposure to exceptional people, e.g., Lunch & Learns, peer mentoring, external speakers * Time off: 26 + 4 vacation days per year (4 fixed “company rest days”) as well as regular off-sites and team events * Health: Wellpass membership, of course, a fruit basket (!), and access to Jobrad, for your health * Family & Social Security: Voluntary pension contribution, voluntary KITA subsidy for your children Tacto is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or gender identity. Please do not submit personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, data concerning your health, or data concerning your sexual orientation.
