The Okta Verify Team The Okta iOS platform team is responsible for building Okta's iOS Apps and SDKs. Okta Verify is a mobile app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts. It integrates with iOS system features by communicating with our backend to and grant proper application access.c) The Staff Software Engineer in Test Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test to join the iOS platform team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining Okta Verify and SDKs across iOS, iPadOS and WatchOS platforms. In this role you would report to the Manager, Quality Assurance and be responsible for robust, secure releases and test automation of Okta Verify application and SDKs on the  iOS platform. You will also be responsible for developing the test case scripts, building the test automation framework and working collaboratively with application developers to execute tests, log, track and validate test results. What you’ll be doing  Technical Leadership:  * Define and own the iOS test automation strategy and framework architecture for Okta Verify and its SDKs * Mentor and technically guide engineers across quality and development teams; write and review designs and code in Swift with colleagues of varying seniority * Establish and drive quality metrics, including test coverage, flakiness rates, and CI pipeline health and hold teams accountable to targets  * Partner with Security to define and execute security and privacy test coverage for authentication flows * Represent quality in architecture and design reviews for new Okta Verify app and SDK features * Define and communicate quality plans for the iOS platform and dependency scrum teams  Testing and Automation:   * Design and build structured test automation frameworks using XCTest and deliver robust XCUI UI automated tests using Swift.  * Develop and maintain high-quality functional, regression, and end-to-end tests for Okta Verify on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS * Validate bug fixes and recommend product improvements on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS to ensure seamless user experiences for iPhones, iPads and Apple Watch for Apple’s major and minor upgrades to their operating systems. * Leverage CircleCI, digital.ai, jira, XRay and other tools to raise quality issues with development teams in a timely manner * Collaborate with product management, development and cross functional teams using jira and confluence tools to define test plans grounded in business requirements and application software designs What you’ll bring to the role * 5+ years of software test experience for iOS mobile applications, with 3+ years of hands-on experience with iOS UI test automation frameworks  * Experience in developing iOS test tools using Swift/Obj-C * Experience defining test strategy at a platform or product-area level, leading release testing and managing product issues * Experience building and maintaining Mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Xcode Cloud) * Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence * Experience with scripting languages like shell, python etc And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!  * Familiarity with iOS security frameworks (Keychain, Secure Enclave, biometrics) is a plus * Experience with integration tools like CircleCI, Bitbar, BrowserStack is a plus  * Objective-C familiarity for legacy codebase navigation (P8569_3461474) #LI-Hybrid #BB-1 Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. The End User Protection Team  Auth0 is an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We ensure access to applications is safe, secure, and seamless for the more than 100 million daily logins worldwide. The End User Protection team is responsible for building and maintaining Auth0’s Attack Protection capabilities. Cyberattacks, such as credential stuffing and password spraying, often target end users to gain unauthorised access to applications. These attacks pose a significant threat, compromising user accounts and data. The Attack Protection features mitigate these risks by continuously monitoring user login behaviour and automatically detecting and blocking malicious activity. They protect users without adding unnecessary friction. The team works closely with our Machine Learning and AI teams to develop and deploy cutting-edge detection models. The Staff Software Engineer Opportunity We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our End User Protection team.  What you’ll be doing  * Be a part of a fast-paced, agile team. * Design and build features using technologies such as Node.js (JavaScript/Typescript), AWS, Azure, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Kubernetes * Lead the technical breakdown of highly complex, ambiguous requirements into clear, modular, and actionable engineering tasks, setting the standard for project clarity and velocity. * Drive and own the engineering estimation process for large-scale initiatives, effectively managing risk and communicating technical trade-offs, timelines, and dependencies to engineering and product leadership. * Drive cross-functional technical projects with other Auth0 and Okta engineering teams, ensuring alignment on service dependencies, security standards, and operational best practices. * Act as a key technical collaborator and influencer with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Security, Infrastructure), proactively aligning technical roadmaps and advocating for architectural changes that support long-term product vision. * Collaborate with industry-leading experts to implement the cutting-edge of Identity Protocols and Open Standards such as OpenID Connect, OAuth and SAML  * Maintain and operate services at a high scale * Participate in scheduled on-call rotations  * Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance on system design, code quality, testing practices, and career development.
