We are looking for an experienced, highly autonomous Product Owner to take full ownership of a major product, platform, or technology across its complete lifecycle. At Level 4, you will step beyond day-to-day backlog management to actively shape short-to-medium-range roadmaps, define strategic OKRs, and manage complex stakeholder relationships with some of the biggest names in elite global sports. We need a technical, highly organised leader who can navigate ambiguity, make high-impact trade-off decisions, and drive consistency across our product portfolio while ensuring our solutions exceed the highest standards and strict customer SLAs. What You'll Be Doing * Strategic Backlog & Scope Ownership: Serve as the definitive voice of the user, client, and business. Fully own the team backlog, defining epics, features, and user stories—and proactively handle complex dependencies and time-critical priorities to maximise ROI. * Roadmap, Vision & Market Strategy: Actively contribute to and shape the strategic roadmap and vision for our tracking portfolio. Research the market, track competitors, and perform deep user analysis to proactively propose improvements to system reliability, scalability, and UX. * Stakeholder Management & Ambiguity: Champion your product as its primary global ambassador. Lead high-level technical and business discussions, align cross-functional engineering teams, and successfully navigate complex, ambiguous environments to keep deliveries on track. * Quality & Built-In Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with Development Leads, Solution Architects, and QA to enforce common architectural patterns. Ensure built-in quality at every stage to completely eliminate the cost of delays (CoDs) associated with rework or recalls. * Operational Readiness & 3rd Line Support: Define success metrics and monitor operational data to guide business decisions. Oversee 3rd-line support within your product scope and guarantee that training, documentation, and testing are executed flawlessly ahead of rollout into BAU. What We're Looking For * 2–3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, demonstrating growing autonomy in managing all stages of the product lifecycle and leading short-range roadmap definition. * Advanced stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to align diverse cross-functional engineering teams, product leads, and high-profile external clients. * Strong technical grounding with concrete experience managing technically complex products and cloud-based data solutions. * Strategic product execution experience, particularly in defining Minimum Marketable Features (MMFs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and setting clear OKRs. * Superb leadership and communication skills with a knack for removing product-related obstacles, conducting trade-off analyses, and keeping priorities visible. Bonus Points For * Experience working on high-performance products within a business-to-business (B2B) setting. * Experience with real-time systems that combine cutting-edge software and hardware tracking infrastructure. * Enthusiasm for occasional international travel to collaborate directly with sports federations and teams trackside. AUFGABEN: * Own and maintain a healthy, well-prioritized product backlog that the engineering team can rely on every single sprint * Prepare and facilitate refinement sessions (groomings), sprint planning, and reviews * Translate product ideas, stakeholder input, and user feedback into clear, well-scoped user stories with crisp acceptance criteria * Partner closely with the product lead to shape priorities, balance trade-offs, and keep the roadmap moving * Support the product lead to transfer requirements from users, support, and analytics to sharpen requirements and validate decisions * Act as the day-to-day bridge between product lead, stakeholders, engineering, design, and QA — making sure everyone has the context they need * Track sprint progress, surface blockers early, and help the team stay focused on what matters * Be a vital part of an Agile team WAS ERWARTET DICH: * 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role (Product Manager, Business Analyst with PO responsibilities, etc.) * Solid command of Scrum/Agile frameworks and hands-on experience running the full PO toolkit (backlog management, refinements, sprint planning, story writing) * Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers actually enjoy picking up * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable translating between business, design, and engineering * A structured, detail-oriented working style and the ability to keep multiple workstreams organized in parallel * Experience with backlog and collaboration tools such as Jira or similar * Conveniently making data-informed decisions and asking the right questions when data is missing * English working proficiency * German language skills are a strong plus and will give you a real edge in this role * Experience in dentistry, general healthcare or medtech would be considered an advantage * Basic familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, microservices, web platforms) is a plus
