Arbeta hands-on i utvecklingen (ca 60–70 %), framför allt i affärskritiska delar av plattformen.

At Voyado, we’re building the intelligence layer that powers analytics, insights, and AI-driven experiences for retailers across Europe. We’re now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Team Intelligence — a growing team of Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts responsible for analytics products, reporting capabilities, and the data foundations that enable trusted decision-making across our platform. This is a unique opportunity to combine people leadership with technical influence. Your primary mission will be to help the team grow and succeed, while also contributing to the technical direction of our analytics platform together with architects and senior engineers. You’ll work closely with Area Lead Robin Bodin, an experienced engineering leader, who will support you in both your leadership journey and the continued development of Team Intelligence. Whether you’re already an Engineering Manager or a Tech Lead ready to take your first step into formal people leadership, we’d love to hear from you. ABOUT THE ROLE As Engineering Manager for Team Intelligence, you’ll lead a team working at the intersection of analytics, data and AI. You’ll be responsible for creating an environment where people can do their best work, ensuring sustainable delivery, and helping the team develop both their capabilities and ways of working. At the same time, you’ll stay close to the technology, supporting technical discussions and helping guide decisions around data products, analytics platforms, and modern data architecture. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: * Lead, coach, and support Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts through regular 1:1s, feedback, and development conversations. * Create clarity around priorities, ownership and team ways of working. * Partner with architects and area leads to help shape technical direction and long-term improvements. * Support technical decision-making and help balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability. * Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture. * Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the org. WHO YOU ARE We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a genuine passion for helping teams succeed. As a leader, you’re someone who builds trust, encourages ownership, and creates an environment where people can do their best work. You’re curious, collaborative, and comfortable balancing long-term improvements with the realities of day-to-day delivery. Also someone who is comfortable navigating technical discussions and contributing to decisions around data products, analytics platforms, and modern data architecture. While this is first and foremost a leadership role, we believe great leadership in this environment comes from understanding the challenges your team faces and being able to provide both support and technical guidance when needed. We also believe you have: * A strong technical background within Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering or Data Analytics. * Experience leading people formally or informally as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar. * An interest in coaching, mentoring, and helping others develop. * The ability to contribute to discussions around data modelling, analytics engineering, semantic layers, data products, and modern data architectures. * Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. * dbt, Databricks, Spark SQL, or similar technologies. * BI and analytics platforms. * AI, ML, or data product environments. HIGH IMPACT. GREAT PEOPLE. REAL GROWTH. You’ll join a company with strong momentum, modern technology, and a collaborative culture where ideas and initiatives are encouraged. At Voyado, we care about creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate, and enjoy the journey together. We move quickly, challenge ideas, and work closely across teams to deliver meaningful impact. Some of our benefits: * 30 days of vacation * Wellness allowance * Personal development opportunities * Summits and team activities * Four days from the office and one day from home ABOUT VOYADO Voyado is the Agentic Customer Experience Suite for retail. More than 500 retail brands across 100 markets use Voyado to unite CRM, loyalty, product discovery, e-commerce personalization, and retail media with retail-trained AI that acts on real-time shopper intent. By combining customer data with product intelligence, Voyado helps retailers deliver more relevant experiences across every channel — online and in-store. The result is more traffic, higher conversions, stronger customer relationships, and measurable business impact. We’re growing across Europe and are looking for people who want to help shape the future of retail technology. READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? Fantastic! 🎉 A quick note about our recruitment timeline: As many of us will be taking some well-deserved summer vacation, this process will move a bit slower than usual. We’d still love to hear from you as soon as possible! Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you’ll apply! 🌞 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As part of our recruitment process, we conduct a background check on the final candidate. MAKING IT PERSONAL WITH AI We believe you’ll position yourself best for success in the interview process by being yourself, with support from AI where it makes sense. Later in the process, you may even be expected to use AI. At the end of the day, what matters is meeting you — the person behind the application. There is no such thing as a perfect candidate; we’re all human, so please bring your authentic self. Don’t let AI over-polish your CV or answers to the point where we can’t hear your real voice, because that’s what we care about most.
WHAT WE DO AT QLIRO At Qliro we deliver safe and simple payments. We are a dedicated partner to our merchants who serve their customers every day. We believe that if our merchants grow, we grow. We are a company of dedicated, friendly and highly competent people that together have redefined what Qliro and payments can be. We are now on a journey of scaling our business both here in Sweden and the Nordics. WHAT YOUR TEAM DOES We’re looking for a Senior Tech Lead to own the technical direction of our Credit & Fraud team, the team at the center of Qliro’s Pay Later platform. What we do here shapes whether customers can pay in a way that actually works for them, and whether we protect them from taking on debt they can’t handle. It’s a dual responsibility, and we take both sides seriously. We’re rebuilding the next generation of this system from the ground up, designed to handle a significant increase in transaction volumes as we scale. Part of what you’ll lead is making this platform ready to operate beyond the Nordics, so the architectural decisions you make now will need to hold up across multiple markets. We’re in the early stages of exploring how AI can help us make better credit and fraud decisions, and we’re honest that this is genuinely complex territory. Credit is one of the most regulated areas when it comes to AI: explainability, fairness, and auditability aren’t optional. We want someone who finds that complexity interesting, not someone who pretends it isn’t there. WHAT YOU WILL DO You’ll own the technical direction of the team and write production-grade .NET yourself, not occasionally, but regularly. You’ll make architectural decisions you can defend, drive performance and scale from the start, and treat observability and decision traceability as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts. Credit and fraud touch nearly everything at Qliro, which means you’ll work across a wide range of stakeholders: product, risk, compliance, other engineering teams. You’ll be the person who can hold a technical position in a room full of people with competing priorities, make a call under ambiguity, and bring clarity when there’s none. You’ll understand the regulatory and compliance landscape well enough to know what constraints you’re building within. You’ll set others up to succeed. Not in a formal, structured way, but in the way that actually matters: sharing hard-won knowledge, asking the right questions, and making the engineers around you better at their craft. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM * You’ve led technical work on systems where getting it wrong had real consequences, ideally in credit, fraud, risk, or payments, or in a high-transaction financial environment where you’ve developed that instinct. * You’re comfortable operating in a heavily regulated environment and understand that compliance constraints aren’t obstacles to good engineering, they’re part of it. * You understand that in this domain, correctness matters as much as speed, and you build accordingly. * You’ve driven platform transformations before, not just worked on greenfield projects. You know what it means to move away from one system while keeping it running, and you bring the mindset to finish that job rather than work around it. * You have opinions about what good looks like, production-grade code, observable systems, sensible tradeoffs and you’re not precious about being challenged on them. * You’re comfortable being the one who decides when there’s no perfect answer, and you’re open to being wrong. * You don’t wait for a perfect spec to start thinking. HOW WE WORK Engineering ownership here is real. Engineers make calls that matter and are trusted to defend them. How your team works day to day — how often you’re in the office, how you structure your time — is something teams decide for themselves. We’re based in Stockholm, but we’ve found that trusting teams to figure out their own rhythm works better than a company-wide policy. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOUR NEXT ROLE? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR - APPLY NOW! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Qliro is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to gender, gender identity or expression, national origin, religion or other beliefs, disability, sexual orientation or age.
