We are now looking for a C# platform developer to join our growing Stockholm team. You'll be the person helping build and maintain the high-performance backend systems that power our games and platform infrastructure. You'll be solving real technical challenges that impact thousands of active users, collaborating closely with product teams, and helping ensure our platform is robust and ready for future growth.
The Role
Design & Implement Features: Build robust, scalable features for our C# / ASP.NET-based platform and supporting systems.
Optimize Performance: Ensure code and data structures deliver high throughput, low latency, and reliable processing of thousands of transactions per second.
Testing & Stability: Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure platform stability.
Code Collaboration: Participate in code reviews and contribute to clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Technical Documentation: Maintain clear and thorough technical documentation.
Team Coordination: Work closely with peers and product teams to maintain architectural consistency and meet performance standards.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in C# backend development.
Solid understanding of ASP.NET (experience preferred but can be developed on the job).
Deep knowledge of SQL, including writing efficient queries and designing high-performance database schemas.
Practical experience with caching strategies (e.g., Redis).
Expertise in multithreaded programming and thread-safe design patterns.
Proficiency in using the C# debugger for troubleshooting complex issues.
A mindset focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Experience with automated unit testing frameworks.
A university degree in Computer Science or related field.
Interest in gaming, professionally or recreationally.
Experience with front-end development.
Experience mentoring or coaching other colleagues.

THE ROLE Yubico is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Platform team working on Yubikey as a Service. It is an Enterprise solution that customers use to manage the lifecycle of their credentials and YubiKey deployment at scale. You should have a passion for building the platform for Enterprise-grade applications. We are looking for a teammate who is proactive, works well within and across teams, and has a desire to do things right and learn. You will develop the platform to support products used by many top Enterprise companies and will get to see your work in use right away.
