To provide support to Transaction Leaders in identifying, analysing and monitoring renewable energy investments. Individuals are typically involved in conducting deal analysis and due diligence. Responsibilities may involve screening proposed deals based on established investment criteria. Individuals at this level are still developing the techniques and skills necessary to manage renewable energy investments Responsibilities: * Financial Modelling - Conduct financial modelling and projections as directed by Investment Management and Development teams. Coach and mentor Analysts on financial modelling * Analyse – Analyse company financial statements, company accounts and sector data. Remain abreast of relevant economic and political events impacting on and influencing the Renewable Energy sector. Interpret data from different sources and understand the impact this will have for investment decision making. Provide analysis for due diligence processes. Post investment monitoring of assets * Transactions - Provide support to VP / SVP’s and Project Finance by running parts of the transactions as directed. Support transaction timeline, due diligence and data collection and analysis efforts. Research and respond to client / investor inquiries as directed. Participate and manage internal and external meetings with junior and mid-level stakeholders. Interpret and develop basic legal documentation and commercial contracts. Take lead on certain transactions * Presentation & Report - Develop high quality power point slides & reports for fund-raising, investor, board, shareholder and corporate presentations Relationship Management: Alcazar Energy has a flat organisational structure – associates work with a shared pool of resources for investment management, project origination and project finance. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Economics * 6 to 8 years’ experience post-qualification in relevant field * Previous experience in Investment Management, Private Equity, Power & Infrastructure fields is desirable * Thorough understanding of Renewable Energy market, technologies, players and key industry drivers * Solid understanding of commercial and funding structures and asset management * Advanced Financial modelling proficiency * Understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements * Team Player * Accuracy & attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills * Exhibits a professional demeanour with a constructive and committed attitude * Strong analytical skills and sound judgement * Good time management skills, flexibility and ability to adapt to multiple roles/tasks as needed * Ability to develop high quality & easy to digest conceptual diagrams, charts and graphs * Mastery of MS Office tools * Quality focused with a strive for excellence * Proactivity in seeking and receiving feedback * Problem solving skills and logical approach * Fluent in written and spoken English * Negotiation skills We appreciate your time in considering a career with Alcazar Energy. Supporting the team to complete their tasks in an accurate and timely fashion and providing excellent client service. POSITION As (Senior) Associate in our Corporate Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in executing M&A and Corporate Finance transactions. You'll work closely with senior professionals and clients, gaining hands-on experience in deal origination and client management, financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution (incl. negotiations). Integral to our high-performing execution-focused deal teams, you will promptly engage in all phases and aspects of global Corporate Finance and M&A projects. These projects encompass some of the most dynamic industries of our time, with a particular emphasis on technology or tech-related businesses like DeepTech, Clean/GreenTech, Digital Services, TMT, Digital Media, Esports & Gaming You will be in charge of and responsible for critical phases of live transactions - predominantly equity financing / cap raises and sell-side M&A. Not only do we interpret this role to be client facing, we do want you to have direct contact with the clients and all other stakeholders involved in the respective transaction.
