Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative provides day-to-day sales support and customer service for assigned customer accounts. Working closely with one or more Account Managers, this role is responsible for processing customer orders, preparing quotations, communicating order status, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer experience. This role is also expected to build relationships with key suppliers. The Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer inquiries and order management while supporting the Account Manager in delivering exceptional service and growing customer relationships. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to develop a solid understanding of company products and customer applications. Essential Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Support * Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day customer inquiries, order management, and account support for assigned customers. * Partner with assigned Account Managers to provide responsive service and ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely manner. * Prepare quotations for customers and generate quotations. * Maintain regular communication with customers regarding quotations, order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution. * Escalate commercial opportunities and strategic account matters to the appropriate Account Manager. * Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers through responsiveness, accuracy, and dependable execution. Order Management * Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within the ERP system. * Review customer purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, and completeness. * Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. * Monitor open orders and proactively communicate delivery commitments and changes to customers, Account Manager and management as needed. * Purchase selected direct materials or drop-ship items, as needed, to support customer orders. * Maintain accurate customer and order records within the ERP system. Product Knowledge & Continuous Improvement * Develop a working knowledge of products, supplier offerings, and applications. * Utilize product knowledge to assist customers with product selection and recommend alternatives when appropriate. * Participate in product and systems training to enhance customer support capabilities. * Contribute ideas to improve customer service, order management, and commercial processes. Qualifications * Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. * Two or more years of experience in inside sales, customer service, order management, or sales support within an industrial distribution or technical products environment. * Experience in industrial distribution, engineered products, fluid handling, or process equipment preferred. * Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. * Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. * Technical aptitude with the ability to learn product applications and specifications. Work Environment * This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and printers. Physical Demands * The physical demands are typical of an office environment including typing, concentrating, sitting for long periods of time, and the associated challenges of meeting customer requirements and deadlines.

The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth by actively engaging with potential customers primarily through phone calls, emails, and online communications. This role focuses on lead generation, relationship building, and converting prospects into customers. The Inside Sales Associate collaborates closely with the sales and onboarding teams to achieve sales targets and support overall business objectives. A willingness to jump in, take ownership, and be creative is essential. The Associate Sales Operations Analyst will support the UK sales team. The type of candidate we would love to meet would be a self-starter, solutions-orientated, should be able to manage numerous tasks and projects concurrently, and has proven themselves to be adaptable and comfortable with change. What you'll do Sales Support and Deal Desk * Support daily sales activities and processing of sales support requests. * Troubleshoot bugs and issues and liaise with relevant stakeholders to find a resolution. * Partner with sales to support the building of quotes in our CPQ system and ensure clean records of Salesforce opportunities flowing to the billing system. * Perform daily deal activation checks on our closed deals to ensure a seamless customer experience. * Troubleshoot discrepancies in data between Salesforce and supporting systems * Work closely with our Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Marketing teams to improve data quality and enrich prospect lists. Reporting & Data * Monitor and cleanse data within our systems to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and integrity throughout our sales process. * Ensure data integrity through regular de-duplication and clean-up procedures * Generate ad-hoc reports and dashboards where necessary to support internal processes and the sales team’s goals * Complete bulk updates of large data sets using relevant tools including Dataloader and G-Connect. * Perform ongoing customer hierarchy maintenance within Salesforce to support sales efforts. Sales Process * Collaborate with the sales team to streamline and improve sales processes, workflows, and adoption of tools. * Identify inefficiencies in sales operations and recommend solutions to enhance productivity. * Support the implementation of new systems or tools designed to improve sales efficiency. * Create and update relevant process documentation for internal processes and team resources. The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.
