Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the
most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission
is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented
opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
Our team owns open-source SDKs that reflect the Stripe API in seven different programming languages. A vast majority of
server-side Stripe integrations are built using our open-source SDKs. Our team also owns an in-house code generation framework,
which we use to generate not just the SDKs, but the code snippets in our documentation and the commands in Stripe Shell, which is
an in-browser version of the Stripe CLI.
We are dedicated to providing a world-class experience for developers using our SDKs. We influence how Stripe authors and releases
APIs so that SDKs and documentation represent them in a user-friendly way. We want to collaborate with and help our friends in the
Stripe community who build and maintain SDKs in programming languages that we don't support.
In this role, you'll have an opportunity to shape the experience of developers using Stripe SDKs that power over 80% of the
payment volume at Stripe.

At Improbable, we build and scale ambitious AI and Web3 ventures shaping the next generation of the internet. The Somnia Foundation, backed by Improbable, specialises in building and operating high-performance decentralised technology. Its EVM L1, launched in 2025, has been benchmarked as the fastest on the planet: at over 1 million ERC-20 transactions per second. At Somnia you'll be working alongside a talented team working across the core blockchain along with novel protocols leveraging its capabilities. About the Role We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to build across the breadth of what Somnia ships, from consumer-facing products to developer technologies to internal platform and tooling. One month that's a polished end-user app, the next it's an SDK, a CLI, or the internal systems the rest of the team builds on. This is a role for someone who cares as much about the product as the code. You'll own the full lifecycle, from rapid prototyping to deployment. You use AI tools as a multiplier and like shipping end-to-end. What you’ll be doing * Design and build production-grade products end-to-end—back-end through UI—across consumer apps, developer-facing technologies and internal platform tooling. * Build the high-performance back-ends and services these products depend on. * Create developer technologies—SDKs, APIs, CLIs, libraries and starter kits—that make the platform easy to build on. * Build internal tooling and platform infrastructure that raises the velocity of the whole team. * Work self-directed: watch the ecosystem and the team's needs, spot gaps and propose and build what moves things forward. * Work with DevRel, Marketing and BD so what you build lands with users and developers and fits go-to-market. What we’re looking for * Strong TypeScript across the full stack—this is the core of the role and our app stack. Some Golang where it fits. * Build high-quality, production-ready frontends. * Strong back-end engineering—APIs, services and the data layer behind them. * Genuine interest in crypto and on-chain products. * Strong ownership and self-direction—you generate ideas, not just execute them. * Able to turn the dial: prototype fast and loose to prove a feature out, then shift into steady-state mode to harden what's worth keeping—tests, edge cases, reliability.
