Position: full-time Intern Duration: full-time, 6 months or longer Location: Munich, Germany Start Date: August 2026 We are looking for a highly motivated Intern - Legal who is ready to work for a new disruptive and high-end brand in the automotive industry, be part of an excellent international team. As an intern at AVATR Design Center Munich, you will have the opportunity to experience our company culture, expand your network and build skills to develop your expertise. What you will do: * Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on German and EU legal frameworks, with a focus on German labor law, intellectual property, contract law, and data protection regulations (GDPR). * Drafting and Document Review: Support the legal team in preparing, reviewing, and revising contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), internal polices and other legal documents. * Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring adherence to local and international laws, including GDPR and relevant industry standards. * Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with design, marketing, and project teams to provide legal insights and address questions related to their initiatives. * Document Management: Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring timely tracking and filing of documents and deadlines. What you will bring: * Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a legal studies program (LL.B, LL.M, or equivalent). * Solid knowledge of German and EU legal systems, with expertise in intellectual property and contract law. * Proficient in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages. * Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and apply strong analytical thinking. Position: Accounting Intern Reports to: Controller Location: Milwaukee, WI Type: Part-Time / Internship, Non-Exempt Summary: The Accounting Intern supports the Accounting team through Accounts Payable activities, financial data maintenance, reconciliations, reporting, and special project work. This role provides hands-on experience in a retail accounting environment while developing practical accounting, analytical, and business process improvement skills. The intern will work closely with Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Operations teams to support accurate financial records and operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Accounts Payable Responsibilities: * Assist with invoice entry, coding, and verification to ensure timely and accurate processing. * Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation and research discrepancies. * Help maintain vendor records, including W-9s, tax information, and contact data. * Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and invoice issues * Support weekly check runs and electronic payment processing. * Assist with month-end Accounts Payable reconciliations and journal entries. Project Work and Financial Analysis: * Participate in special accounting and finance projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency. * Assist with data analysis, report development, and documentation of accounting procedures. * Compile and analyze financial and operational data for management review. * Assist with account reconciliations and research assignments. * Create spreadsheets and reports to support departmental initiatives. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving inventory, purchasing, and store operations. Other Responsibilities: * Maintain confidentiality of financial information. * Provide administrative support to the Accounting team as needed. * Perform additional duties and special assignments as requested. Employment Requirements: * Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. * Completed introductory accounting coursework preferred. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
