You will have full P&L responsibility for the Belgian market, overseeing customer experience, lifecycle management and local marketing strategy. Your key objective is to drive sustainable revenue growth and maximize customer value. The Belgian market includes both online casino and sportsbook operations, as well as a retail sportsbook network of over 400 points of sale across the country. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead and develop best in class team of local experts and professionals * Drive revenue growth through customer engagement * You will develop and implement the local market strategy and annual plans, while managing the local budget. In close collaboration with Central teams, you will review and approve quarterly market and CRM plans, ensuring that local marketing teams deliver effective strategies and measurable results for the Belgian market * Accountable for customer life cycle from acquisition to retention * Drive brand awareness through a mix of onsite and offsite marketing channels closely following any market trends * Ensure that customer engagement is delivered through effective customer marketing and an optimized site experience. As a Wolt Market Area Manager you have ownership of supporting a team of 6-8 Store Managers and Store Team Leads and together running a world-class grocery delivery operation. You are leading everything related to how operations take place and are responsible for finding and setting up targets, optimizing store layout, improving picking and packing costs, ensuring a great user experience and providing leadership to a team of store leaders and grocery associates. Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your operation. In this role, you’ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but are also expected to be an amazing independent manager with an exceptional ability to execute every single day. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING * Responsible for the end to end store operations, from fulfillment to delivery in a group of our stores. * Focus on the continuous improvement of our operations. Key focus areas include: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity. * Maintaining an ambitious and motivated team is one of your main responsibilities, while you also hire and train new store leaders. * Provide day to day leadership and guidance to store leaders and associates to optimize store operations and guarantee operational excellence. * Drive the creation of shift schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other change initiatives to support and enable store leaders to meet and exceed business targets. * Review the demand forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to meet the overall store/country objectives. * Develop optimal store operations in your country together with the Operations Manager and other members of your team. Examples of your areas of responsibility could be workforce management, people compliance, collaboration with inventory and commercial teams, product initiatives and feedback. OUR HUMBLE EXPECTATIONS * Operations management experience in retail, distribution or platform economy environments. * Great analytical skills. Excel skills are a strong recommendation. * Experience of leading teams in stores or in a similar field. * Full professional proficiency in English and Greek. * Ability to think and act fast operationally with an eye for detail. * A hands-on, proactive, practical, pragmatic attitude with resiliency for changes. To support our expanding merchant offering, we are growing our Commerce Platform team in Greece. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships across both existing and new merchants while working closely with the Commerce Platform Lead to unlock long-term growth opportunities. Wolt Commerce Platform Products in a Nutshell * Wolt Drive - A delivery-as-a-service solution (DaaS) enabling merchants to add fast, reliable last-mile delivery to their own ordering channels. * Wolt Storefront - A white-label online ordering platform that helps merchants create branded digital stores with seamless checkout and increased conversion. As Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding both products across Greece by growing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving cross-functional initiatives from idea to execution. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As a Business Development Manager, you'll work closely with the Commerce Platform Lead to grow Wolt Drive and Storefront across Greece. You'll own strategic partnerships, identify new business opportunities, and drive cross-functional initiatives from idea to execution. Day-to-day in this role you'll: * Own and grow a portfolio of strategic merchant partnerships, across retail and restaurant verticals identifying opportunities to drive long-term commercial growth. * Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders, leading commercial discussions and presenting solutions alongside the Commerce Platform Lead. * Identify and pursue new strategic business opportunities, managing long sales cycles from prospecting through launch. * Take end-to-end ownership of new partnership initiatives, coordinating with Product, Operations, Legal, Account Management and other internal teams to ensure successful execution. * Monitor business performance, use data to identify growth opportunities, and support commercial decision-making. * Act as a trusted partner to the Commerce Platform Lead, helping shape and scale Wolt's Commerce Platform in Greece. OUR HUMBLE EXPECTATIONS You’ll succeed in this role if you: * Have 3-6 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, key account management, or a similar commercial role. * Have experience managing complex commercial discussions and building long-term relationships with large merchants or enterprise clients in retail, restaurant, or similar consumer-facing industries. * Are comfortable working with commercial data and using insights to drive business ddecisions. * Take ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and enjoy building new processes and partnerships from scratch. * Are an excellent communicator who can confidently present to senior stakeholders and collaborate across multiple teams. * Have experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics, SaaS, or marketplace businesses (considered a plus). * Are fluent in English and Greek.
