Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and broader environmental commodities markets.
You have an interest in commodities and finance, are self-driven, and keen to develop your communication and deal execution skills
in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You are comfortable working with data, building relationships, and supporting client
needs with a solutions-oriented mindset.
The ideal candidate is confident, receptive to feedback, and has a basic understanding (or strong willingness to learn) of
environmental commodities such as RNG, RINs, carbon credits, and renewable energy certificates. You take initiative in
understanding client requirements and translating them into actionable opportunities while developing commercial instincts over
time.
As a Junior Sales Trader (RNG – US market), you will support the team in developing and maintaining relationships with
counterparties including utilities, producers, aggregators, corporates, and industrials. You will assist in identifying
opportunities, supporting trade execution, and contributing to the growth of the US RNG business. Working closely with senior
traders, you will gain exposure to structuring transactions, market analysis, and client engagement. Performance is aligned with

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven professional to join our Houston office and help clients navigate the increasingly complex world of environmental commodities. As a Sales Trader – Carbon Compliance, you will combine market expertise, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of compliance carbon markets to help shape the future of emissions trading. You will focus on regulatory carbon programs across North America while supporting clients in identifying opportunities, managing risks, and achieving their sustainability objectives. THE ROLE As a Sales Trader – Carbon Compliance, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing transactions within regulated carbon markets across North America. Working alongside experienced professionals in environmental commodities, you will help grow our carbon trading activities by building long-term client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and developing new business channels. You will monitor evolving regulatory programs, analyze market fundamentals, and help clients navigate compliance obligations and trading strategies. You will take ownership of the complete trading process from market analysis and client engagement to deal execution and post-trade management while collaborating closely with risk, legal, operations, and commercial teams. Your market insight will help identify new products and services, drive commercial growth, and strengthen our position as a trusted partner in environmental commodities. POSITION SUMMARY The Business Development Specialist is responsible for growing VEGA’s business in an assigned product, business segment, and/or geographic territory. They will identify opportunities, develop and implement strategies, and provide leadership to our sales organization to grow sales of the assigned business area. They will work in concert with sales management and product management to achieve alignment and leverage resources when necessary. This position will be based in Houston or the state of Texas and will require up to 40% overnight travel. Collaborate with marketing to assist with sales tools, event planning, trade shows, promotional items, etc. as needed. * Analyze competitor strategies and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies to counter competitive forces and products. * Manage strategic and large dollar volume sales projects for assigned market(s) as needed. * Identify, communicate and work through customer problems, issues and opportunities.
