Measurement Automation Scientist (D/F/M)

DEINE AUFGABEN Exciting tasks in RnD in the field of battery diagnostics, specifically: * Conduct electrical measurements of EV battery modules. * Apply electrical engineering methods to analyze battery systems. * Develop, set up, and test new procedures from measurement to modelling and simulations of battery systems. * Collaborate closely with the Data Science, and other teams within AVILOO. * Contribute to the improvement and automation of test processes. DEIN PROFIL * A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field. * Good knowledge of measurement technology, signal processing, and modelling. * Understanding of electrical energy storage systems (especially lithium-ion batteries). * Interest in developing test and measurement procedures as well as the ability to meaningfully combine theory and practice. * Programming skills (ideally in Python). * Hands-on experience with circuits (sizing, wiring, soldering, etc.) is a big plus. * Excellent English or German skills, both verbally and in writing. * Independent, structured, and precise way of working. * Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for new challenges. Actual compensation is based on qualifications and experience and significantly exceeds the collective agreement minimum.

QphoX is looking for a new member to join us in developing and building our quantum transducers. We are looking to expand our team with a Transducer Integration Scientist. As a member of our team, you will help develop and produce the next generation of integrated quantum devices and take their performance to the next level. You will be trained to become part of one of the world’s leading groups in developing microwave to optical transducers. You will be involved in: * CAD generation for production and R&D of transducers * Ensure the transducer cycle quality and device performance * Follow monitoring of transducer fabrication * Follow transducer measurements * Organizing and maintaining and upgrading the codebase for the design of the devices * Automating the design process, gathering and analysing data. * Being involved in new device development * Working in collaboration with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists You are suitable for this role if you have or are: * Experience with quantum transducers, optomechanics, quantum physics * Proficiency with Python for scientific use * Proficiency with GDS Factory and device design. * Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team * An organized and rigorous working style * Ability to come up with practical actions to deal with issues Supplementary skills set: * Experience with quality management or quality control * Experience in nanofabrication, beamer and cjob softwares Our Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate would be self-motivated with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making within our organization.
