YOUR MISSION War Child Alliance Foundation works globally to support children affected by conflict. Strengthening financial management, reporting, systems utilisation, and process effectiveness across country offices and global functions is critical to ensure accountability, donor compliance, effective decision-making, and efficient programme delivery. The Senior Finance Business Partner – Reporting & Systems will support finance transformation initiatives across the organisation, with a particular focus on financial planning and reporting, management information, Power BI implementation, Unit4 optimisation, and finance process analysis and improvement. The Senior Finance Business Partner – Reporting & Systems will support the strengthening of financial planning, reporting, financial controls, systems utilisation, and management information across War Child Alliance. The role will contribute to improving reporting quality, forecasting processes, Power BI implementation, Unit4 optimisation, finance process mapping, analysis, optimisation, standardisation and harmonisation across country offices and global functions, while strengthening cross-functional collaboration to improve organisational reporting, operational efficiency, and decision-making. Scope of Work A. Finance Policies & Internal Control * Support drafting, reviewing, and updating global finance policies and procedures. * Assist in strengthening internal control frameworks and risk mitigation measures across country offices. * Guide country teams in implementing and adhering to finance policies. * Contribute to documenting, standardising, and improving financial processes. B. Financial Control Activities * Support periodic financial control checks, including reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. * Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and donor requirements across countries. * Assist country teams in improving month-end and year-end closing processes to reduce closing timelines. * Contribute to audit preparation, coordination, and follow-up on audit findings. YOUR PROFILE Required Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field. * Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred. * Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in financial management, business partnering, financial control, reporting, finance systems, or finance transformation roles. * Experience in an international NGO or multi-country environment is an advantage. * Strong understanding of donor compliance, grant management, and financial reporting requirements. * Demonstrated experience in financial data analysis, data modelling, reporting model development, dashboard design, and reporting automation. * Experience working with ERP systems, management reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions. * Experience with Unit4 ERP and Power BI is highly desirable. * Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. Role Overview We're looking for a Creative Coordinator to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. role is the main point of contact between the Creative Department and the wider business on all Creative and Design requests. They will oversee all resourcing across the Creative Department and manage capacity, coordinating designers and freelance support to keep incoming briefs scoped, scheduled and delivered on time and within budget. Day-to-day duties include quoting and tracking design costs, reconciling budgets with stakeholders, and reporting on team utilisation. Successful candidates will be highly organised, strong communicators able to manage multiple stakeholders while staying calm and adaptable under a fast-changing workload. The role will be based at Right Formula’s offices in Battersea, London, 3 days working from the office and 2 days from home. Key Responsibilities Assess incoming briefs to ensure they are completed correctly, creating detailed timing plans (where needed) and managing resource. Managing the studio’s schedule and booking in projects with the relevant designers. Identifying potential bottle necks in capacity and adapting as needed by rescheduling or booking in additional freelance resource. Liaising with HR to manage onboarding of freelancer bookings and onboarding. Ensure the successful end to end delivery of projects through day-to-day co-ordination of the studio team by effectively allocating projects and managing resources. Confidently manage the expectations of all stakeholders and communicate project updates. Quote for all design work coming into the team and track actual time spent against each job. Reconcile design costs with budget holders at the end of each quarter. Report on the utilisation of the team and resource capacity, flagging any overburn. Ensure all work has been checked against the brief and copy provided before sharing with the Client Leadership team. Work with the wider Business to help them understand the correct briefing process. Skills & Experience Required Experience working in studio or design traffic management. Apple Mac/computer literate. You will have experience using, Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com Knowledgeable of the print/production process. You will have experience in a design studio, havingworked with graphic designers, and have a strong understanding of the design and print/production process. Experience quoting for work, tracking hours spent and reconciling costs. Highly organised. You will facilitate focus, accuracy and quality in the relentlessly fast paced environment of a studio environment. A strong communicator. Managing multiple stakeholders across the business - show strong integrity, energy and enthusiasm while also being able to motivate, inspire and collaboratively lead resources.
