BCB Medical is a healthcare software company specialized in supporting healthcare to improve patient management and outcomes. We offer a disease specific platform and patient engagement system combined with AI-powered data analytic tools to create insights and enable value-based decisions in healthcare. Our solutions support healthcare organizations improving the quality of care and optimizing the use of healthcare resources in over 400 clinics in Finland, in Sweden and in the UK. LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER We are seeking a motivated Lead Product Manager to take ownership of the BCB Patient Engagement (BCB MyHealth, BCB Omavointi) product family and steer it according to company strategy. The product family has a long-standing market foothold as well as rapidly emerging AI-based products. The position is permanent, preferably based at our Turku office, with Espoo and Stockholm as alternatives; hybrid work is also possible. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE * Identifying and validating customer value, together with customers, in the form of healthcare efficiency * Managing a product family and translating customer needs, both stated and unstated, as well as applicable regulatory requirements, into value-adding and implementable software specification * Ensuring that customer value is manufactured and delivered in the form of state-of-the-art product versions and new products added to the product family TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE * Proven track record of healthcare customer facing work (clinicians, information management) with network management ability * Proven track record of product (family) management with understanding of life-cycle based revenue/costs calculations * Self-guided way of working with ability to prioritize and lead teamwork * Excellent written and verbal communication skills: fluent in English, strong in Finnish; Swedish is an advantage * Understanding of SaaS software manufacturing and maintenance, and aptitude in working within specified processes * Suitable degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or equivalent relevant work experience ADDITIONAL SKILLS WE VALUE * Knowledge of Finnish healthcare sector software solutions, interfaces and integrations * Knowledge of Finnish wellbeing services counties and their purchasing and maintenance processes * Similar knowledge of Sweden, the UK or other European countries is a strong plus WHY JOIN US? AS A LEAD DEVELOPER AT REAKTOR, YOUR JOB IS TO WORK WITH THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE, HELP YOUR TEAM SUCCEED, AND DELIVER RESULTS YOUR DAILY TASKS INCLUDE: * Being the first point of contact for the client when it comes to technical questions or the quality of the delivery * Working together with the client’s tech and business teams: facilitating collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure quality delivery * Implementing new features that require changes to front-end applications, back-end servers, and/or databases, knowing what is needed from infrastructure to support the team's work * Improving the team's ways of working by empowering them to discover optimal workflows and enabling a healthy work-life balance among team members * Building relationships with the client to ensure future collaboration * Assisting the team in adopting and following agile practices YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED DEVELOPER WHO ENJOYS FACING TECHNICAL CHALLENGES AND IS AT HOME PROVIDING CLARITY IN AMBIGUOUS SITUATIONS TO THRIVE IN THIS POSITION, YOU’LL NEED: * Experience on a broad spectrum (back end, front end, and ops). Usually, to be successful in this role at Reaktor, we've noticed it's good to have a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience * Solid understanding and experience of agile project management principles * To have both previous team-lead and consulting experience * Experience working with several client stakeholders to solve complex problems * Previous experience with at least one common server-side programming language. Currently, many of our projects are built with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js. But, Java/Scala/Kotlin, Clojure, and Python are also used * Strong knowledge of at least one common client-side language and framework. We often use TypeScript/JavaScript and React on our web app projects and Swift, Java/Scala/Kotlin, or TypeScript/JavaScript React-native on mobile * Relevant skills to create new backend services and tweak CI/CD pipelines when the project requires * Know-how on databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) * Fluent verbal & written English skills * To be willing to work in a hybrid setup, where you work with your team at the office or at the client premises WHY JOIN US?
