THE ROLE The Head of NPI Engineering is responsible for leading the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process within a high-mix, electronic manufacturing environment. This role ensures the seamless transition of products from design through to full-scale production, driving manufacturability, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.  You will act as the key interface between customers, design engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.  Key Responsibilities  Leadership & Strategy  * Lead, develop, and mentor the NPI Engineering team  * Define and implement NPI strategy aligned with businessobjectivesand customer requirements  * Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and engineering excellence  New Product Introduction (NPI)  * Own the full NPI lifecycle from concept review to production release  * Ensure robust Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are applied  * Lead project planning, risk management, and resource allocation for all NPI activities  * Act as the primary escalation point for NPI-related issues  Customer & Stakeholder Management  * Serve as the technical lead for customer engagements during the NPI phase  * Collaborate with customers on designoptimisation, cost reduction, and manufacturability improvements  * Work cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Production, andAccountManagement teams  Process & Production Readiness  * Ensure manufacturing processes, tooling, and test solutions are fullyvalidatedprior to production  * Oversee creation and approval of work instructions, process documentation, and control plans  * Drive First Article Inspection (FAI) and production readiness reviews  Quality & Compliance  * Ensure all NPI activities meet regulatory, customer, and industry standards (e.g., IPC standards)  * Support root cause analysis and corrective actions during early production phases  * Partner with Quality teams to ensure smooth handover to steady-state production  Continuous Improvement  * AnalyseNPI performance metrics (e.g., time to market, yield, cost variance)  * Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies  * Identifyopportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, andoptimiseprocesses  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  * On-time NPI delivery  * First pass yield / early production yield  * Time toproduction release * NPI cost vs. target  * Customer satisfaction during NPI phase ABOUT YOU * Proven leadership experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or operations within the electronic manufacturing (EMS) sector  * Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, box build, and electronic systems integration  * Deep understanding of DFM, DFT, and DFA principles  * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools  * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously  * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills  * Experience working directly with customers in a technical or engineering capacity

They will also lead and support the repairs of breakdowns and escalation of issues to the management team. Creation and adherence to maintenance schedules will be a key part of this role.   Responsibilities   Working alongside all sites to support compliance aspects such as: * Electrical appliance testing PAT & retention of asset records * Physical ‘hands on’ repairs & maintenance on all site services & equipment. * Control of contractors – PTW issue/engagement * Develop & implement the maintenance schedule of works, utilising a CMMS system * Collaborate with all TECHPOINT sites & ensure priority tasks are conducted in timely manner & with appropriate urgency/escalation as required. * Build productive relationships with (site) local contractors & providers of FM services * Raise purchase orders via procurement as required, ensuring cost effective measures & adherence to budget. * Support plant relocations & equipment installations (FM & SMT) ABOUT YOU Experience * Experience in Facilities or Maintenance – with electrical bias to 18 Edition * IOSHH  * Experience of maintenance of surface mount equipment.  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building relationships with sites/contractors & controlling safety/spend. About the Role At Dexory, our autonomous robots are at the heart of what we do. We design, build, and test them in-house at our Wallingford facility, and now we’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Assembly Technician to join our electro-mechanical team. This is a practical, workshop-based role where you’ll be assembling and commissioning robot subsystems and full robot builds to the highest standards. This role will be onsite 5 days a week, and a full UK driving licence is ideal for this role. Your work will mostly often  be divided between sub-system and robot assembly. Assembly of sub-systems * Assist in the Assembly of complete robots * Contribute to research and development projects * Support the assembly process through various continuous improvement projects * Support the wider business as required Essential Requirements: * Experience of working in a technical function; both autonomously and as part of a team. Experienced in manual build and assembly processes of complex, high precision mechanical, and electrical systems * Accountable for build and preparation of complete products to a strict schedule and quality * Experience inspecting, testing  and signing off for production completed sub-systems * Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures * Must thrive under pressure, willingly adapting to rapid shifts in priorities and going beyond standard expectations to meet tight deadlines and deliver excellence. * Comfortable adapting to rapid changes * Excellent communication skills Desired * Experience in precision manufacturing industry (including motorsport, industrial equipment, aerospace, automotive etc.) This role is suited for individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional results, continuously push their own limits, and excel in a high-performance environment.
