THE ROLE The Stores Manager is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and secure management of all materials within the company’s stores function. This includes overseeing goods-in, material handling, storage, consumables, component traceability, and kitting activities to support PCB assembly, box build, and other EMS manufacturing operations. The role ensures materials flow smoothly through the business, supporting production schedules, minimising shortages, and maintaining full compliance with quality, traceability, and health and safety standards. Stock & Inventory Management * Maintain accurate stock levels of electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, and consumables, ensuring full batch/lot traceability. * Manage and optimise storage systems (FIFO, LIFO, moisture-sensitive device handling, ESD compliance, etc.). * Conduct regular cycle counts and support annual stock takes, investigating and resolving discrepancies. * Monitor and reduce excess/obsolete stock in coordination with procurement and planning teams. * Ensure correct handling and storage of Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD) in accordance with IPC/JEDEC standards. Goods-In & Material Handling * Oversee goods-in processes, including inspection, verification, booking-in, and rejection/return handling. * Work closely with Quality to resolve non-conforming material issues. * Ensure all incoming stock is processed efficiently to support production demand. Kitting & Production Support * Oversee and improve the kitting process for SMT and Through-Hole production lines, ensuring kits are complete, accurate, and ready on time. * Work closely with Production, Planning, and Engineering to ensure material availability for build schedules. * Support fast-turn/prototype builds with efficient material handling. Despatch * Oversee all despatch activities to ensure finished goods are packed, labelled, and shipped accurately and on time. * Ensure correct documentation is produced for UK, EU, and international shipments (commercial invoices, packing lists, export labels, courier manifests, etc.). * Liaise with customers, couriers, and internal teams to confirm delivery requirements and ensure on-time despatch. * Maintain packaging standards for PCBs, electronics assemblies, and sensitive equipment (ESD-safe, anti-static, moisture protection). * Ensure full traceability of shipped product with correct serial, batch, or date-code records. * Manage despatch scheduling to meet customer deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Systems & Reporting * Manage all stores-related activity through the company’s ERP/MRP system. * Produce reports on inventory accuracy, shortages, stock movements, and KPI performance. * Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on material flow, accuracy, and efficiency. Leadership & Team Management * Lead, train, and develop the stores team to ensure high performance and compliance with procedures. * Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the stores function. * Ensure adequate staffing levels to support production schedule demands. Compliance, Safety & Quality * Ensure stores and handling processes meet ISO9001, AS9100 (if applicable), and customer-specific traceability requirements. * Uphold ESD, MSD, and general handling best practices. * Ensure the workplace is safe, tidy, and compliant with UK health and safety regulations. ABOUT YOU Essential * Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse/Despatch management role * Strong knowledge of traceability, and manufacturing material flows. * Experience using ERP/MRP systems for stock control and despatch. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills. YOUR MISSION To manage incoming materials and support Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant activities for the QC release of product and incoming materials.  Support QC Materials Team in other activities where requested. JOB DESCRIPTION MAJOR ACTIVITIES * Perform inspection of incoming materials, following SOPs and GMP practices to ensure seamless supply of material to support aseptic manufacture of ATMP product. * Monitor the material inspection programme ensuring materials are suitable for the manufacture of gene therapy products to the required standards. * Physical inspection of raw materials. Ensure the warehouse storage environment is acceptable for the materials being inspected (Can be multiple warehouse locations). * Coordinate incoming material testing where required. * Maintain all incoming material documentation meets GMP requirements. * Ensure adequate control of the material status for release or Reject. * Comply with MeiraGTx procedures including Health and safety and GMP. * To ensure all equipment used is calibrated/maintained and in line with SOP’s. * Identify and report procedural problems and deviations. * Perform and support environmental monitoring activities for the sampling room, in line with GMP requirements, ensuring results are recorded and reported. * Perform sampling of incoming raw materials, following SOPs and GMP practices to ensure seamless supply of material to support aseptic manufacture of ATMP product. * Participate in the planning of duties to ensure the facility is acceptable and customers receive products on time and in full. * Any other duties/projects within the skills and ability of the post holder. * Responsible for ensuring that own work complies with GMP, Data Integrity and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and is undertaken in accordance with applicable procedures. * Responsible for ensuring that own training is undertaken in a timely and GMP compliant manner before the task is undertaken. * Responsible for ensuring that any GMP documentation assigned to me e.g. (but not limited to) Issues, CAPAs, Change Controls, BMRs & audit/inspection actions is closed timely and in a RFT state. This is a hands-on security engineering role. The role requires someone who can work directly with product and engineering teams, review designs, assess APIs, run threat models, test systems, coordinate penetration testing, identify vulnerabilities, and help teams remediate issues. The role ensures DTS products, APIs, data collaboration capabilities, AI-enabled workflows, and client-facing services are designed, built, and tested securely. It also owns the practical offensive security and adversarial assurance activity needed to test DTS products from an attacker’s perspective. SECURE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE (SDLC) Embed security into the software development lifecycle across DTS. This includes: * Defining and applying secure engineering standards. * Supporting secure coding practices. * Reviewing CI/CD security controls. * Supporting SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, dependency scanning, and container scanning. * Helping teams triage, prioritise, and remediate security findings. * Working with engineering teams to make security checks practical and repeatable. 3. THREAT MODELLING AND SECURITY DESIGN REVIEWS Run threat modelling and security design reviews for new and changed capabilities. This includes: * Facilitating threat modelling sessions with engineering and product teams. * Reviewing authentication and authorization designs. * Assessing API exposure, data flows, trust boundaries, and abuse cases. * Identifying risks around tenant isolation, privilege escalation, data leakage, and misuse. * Documenting key findings, recommendations, and residual risks. 4. OFFENSIVE SECURITY AND ADVERSARIAL TESTING Carry out and coordinate offensive security testing across DTS products and platforms. This includes: * Performing hands-on security testing of products, APIs, and workflows. * Coordinating external penetration tests. * Supporting red team and purple team exercises where required. * Testing abuse cases and attacker paths. * Testing access control, authentication, authorization, and data leakage risks. * Validating remediation of security findings. * Feeding material risks into the ISMS and Risk Officer for tracking. 5. API, INTEGRATION AND DATA PRODUCT SECURITY Provide security assurance for APIs, integrations, and data products. This includes: * Reviewing externally exposed APIs and partner integrations. * Assessing rate limiting, authorization, tenant isolation, logging, abuse prevention, and data leakage controls. * Supporting secure integration between InfoSum, Open Intelligence, Resolve, WPP Open, and third-party platforms. * Reviewing data product workflows for misuse, excessive access, or unintended exposure. * Working with Privacy Engineering on privacy-sensitive APIs, algorithms, and outputs. 6. AI AND AGENTIC SECURITY TESTING Provide hands-on security review and adversarial testing for AI-enabled and agentic capabilities. This includes: * Testing prompt injection, tool misuse, data leakage, and excessive agency. * Reviewing how agents access APIs, data, tools, and workflows. * Testing whether agent permissions can be bypassed or escalated. * Assessing action boundaries and human approval points. * Working with Identity, AI, and Data Access Governance to validate agent access models. * Documenting AI and agentic security risks and remediation actions. 7. VULNERABILITY TRIAGE AND REMEDIATION SUPPORT Help teams understand, prioritise, and fix security vulnerabilities. This includes: * Reviewing vulnerability findings from scans, penetration tests, code reviews, cloud tools, and external reports. * Prioritising findings based on exploitability, exposure, data sensitivity, and business impact. * Working directly with engineers to define remediation options. * Validating that fixes are effective. * Supporting exception and risk acceptance decisions where remediation is delayed. * Ensuring significant issues are visible through the DTS risk process. 8. ENGINEERING ENABLEMENT AND SECURITY COACHING Act as a practical security partner to engineering teams.
