ARBETSUPPGIFTER Som skolkurator ingår du i den centrala elevhälsan, där även psykologer, specialpedagoger, skolläkare och skolsköterskor ingår. Du arbetar framförallt förebyggande och hälsofrämjande i syfte att stödja elevernas utveckling mot utbildningens mål. Som en del i ett flerprofessionellt team bidrar du med din specifika kompetens och ditt kunnande. I tjänsten ingår att aktivt arbeta med förebyggande arbete mot droger och alla typer av kränkningar och trakasserier samt vid behov stödja rektor/biträdande rektor i att utreda och åtgärda. Som skolkurator arbetar du bland annat med att: *Delta i elevhälsoarbetet och det hälsofrämjande och förebyggande arbetet där du är en del av den lokala elevhälsan. *Genomföra yrkesmässiga samtal såsom stöd-, motivations-, kris- och konfliktsamtal. *Genomföra utredande, rådgivande och bearbetande samtal med enskilda elever och deras familjer. *Företräda elever i behov av särskilt stöd. *Initiera och delta i nätverksarbete kring elever. *Utreda och bedöma skolsociala situationer för enskilda elever och för skolan i sin helhet. *Stötta grupper och akuta behov. *Ge handledning och konsultation till skolpersonal. KVALIFIKATIONER Du som söker tjänsten ska ha avklarad socionomexamen och minst två års erfarenhet av arbete som socionom. Det är viktigt att du har goda kunskaper inom det svenska språket och kan uttrycka dig väl i tal och skrift. Om du har kunskaper i andra språk så är det meriterande. Till den här rollen krävs att du har B-körkort. Meriterande för tjänsten: Erfarenhet av att använda ProRenata och olika stödsystem som journalsystem. Erfarenhet av arbete med barn och ungdomar eller i skolans värld. Kunskaper om socialtjänstens förebyggande och myndighetsutövande verksamhet. Erfarenhet av nätverksarbete. Erfarenhet av att arbeta utifrån ett systemteoretiskt och salutogent perspektiv Skolkurator-rollen innebär till en betydande del ensamarbete och det kräver att du är trygg, modig och självgående. Du är van att flexibelt hantera din arbetsdag utefter prioriteringar och behov. Du har en mycket väl utvecklad förmåga att skapa och bibehålla goda relationer - både internt och externt och du samarbetar väl med personer i olika kontexter och funktioner. Om rollen och dina arbetsuppgifter Som specialpedagog kommer du att arbeta aktivt med kunskaper och färdigheter tillsammans med elever i behov av särskilt stöd. Du arbetar med pedagogiska kartläggningar av den pedagogiska miljön kring dessa elever och ges stora möjligheter att utveckla och leda gruppens pedagogiska utvecklingsarbete. Inom ramen för uppdraget driver du ett aktivt inkluderingsarbete i alla frågor, särskilt avseende elever med behov inom det neuropsykiatriska området. Du arbetar för att eleven ska känna sig så delaktig och självständig som möjligt i alla sammanhang. Som specialpedagog hos oss har du ett nära samarbete med pedagogerna där ni tillsammans hittar olika vägar att föra arbetet med särskilt stöd och extra anpassningar framåt. Förutom undervisning ingår även handledning till lärare och elevassistenter, liksom kartläggningsuppdrag och uppföljning enligt styrdokumentens inriktning. Du bistår med hjälp i utvecklingsplaner och åtgärdsprogram. Du är involverad i överlämning och uppföljning vid övergångar mellan stadier och andra skolenheter. Kontinuerlig kontakt och samverkan med vårdnadshavare är också en viktig del i ditt uppdrag. Som skolsköterska kommer du att ha en central och viktig roll i skolans elevhälsoarbete där du som skolsköterska bidrar med din medicinska kompetens. Vår nuvarande kurator kommer gå vidare till annat uppdrag och nu söker vi en efterträdare. I din tjänst som skolkurator på Västra Hamnens skola ingår du i skolans elevhälsoteam som tillsammans med skolledningen ansvarar för det hälsofrämjande, förebyggande och åtgärdande arbetet för våra elever. Du kommer att arbeta med stöd till enskilda elever och främst möta elever i större grupper för stödjande och vägledande samtal, värdegrundsarbete, främja närvaro mm. The SmartRESs project is part of the Halmstad University ProActS research program, a multidisciplinary research collaboration on sustainability and circularity. The PhD project is inherently interdisciplinary, uniquely combining innovation science, energy technology, and computer science to study how circular, sustainable, and renewable energy systems can be designed, implemented, and adopted within SMEs. The research project integrates perspectives and methods from all disciplines, and the PhD student is expected to engage in all parts while the exact balance between innovation-oriented and technical work can be adapted to the PhD students background, interests, and competencies. For the innovation science perspective, the PhD student will map and describe the value creation potential of SmartRESs in SMEs. Chemical Physics is a dynamic and international environment that strives for scientific excellence through teamwork and combined theoretical and experimental efforts. The theoretical activities at Chemical Physics focus on electronic structure calculations within the density functional theory together with mean-field modeling and Monte-Carlo simulations for reaction kinetics. By linking quantum mechanical calculations with kinetic modeling, it is possible to bridge both length and time scales. About the research project Proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) convert the chemical energy in hydrogen to electrical energy. The main parts of a PEMFC are the anode, cathode and electrolyte. The reactions at the anode and cathode electrodes are catalyzed by metal nanoparticles on carbon. A current issue for large scale implementation of the PEMFC technology is long-term stability. The project will use atomistic first principles methods to understand the governing mechanism for fuel cell degradation. Increased understanding of the governing processes will provide information on how catalysts could be improved and how the system should be operated to minimize degradation. About us The research at the Division of Microstructure Physics focuses on experimental investigations of engineering materials using advanced characterization techniques. We mainly use electron microscopy, atom probe tomography (APT) and large scale facilities (synchrotron and neutron scattering). The research primarily deals with the relation between microstructure and properties, and how this relationship is influenced by processing and in-service degradation. Among the materials studied, steel, hard coatings, zirconium alloys and high entropy materials are central. The applications are often related to energy and sustainability. About the research project Nuclear fuel is enclosed in cladding tubes made from zirconium alloys. To improve reactor safety and economic performance, new alloys are continuously being developed. Skellefteå municipality is the needs owner and participates through the departments of Water & Wastewater and the Streets, providing a real test bed. Recent research will be the starting point where an existing model will be developed further to optimise the strategic asset management and coordination based on economic, environmental and other societal criteria. You will belong to a research team with researchers from our university as well as external researchers from the research institute RISE which are experts in policy-lab methodology. The work within the project includes development of an existing Python model and collection of asset management data of municipal infrastructure. Together with other researchers in the team, you will design workshops to be carried out with municipal partners to understand the present routines of coordinating asset management of multiutility infrastructures and be able to develop tools to support their work. Duties As a PhD student, you will collect asset management data, develop a Python model and be involved in workshops. Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment Third-cycle subject area Biology Description of the doctoral project Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the most pressing global health challenges of our time. A key driver of AMR spread is the horizontal transfer of antibiotic resistance genes via conjugative plasmids — mobile genetic elements that move between bacteria. Plasmid-dependent phages (PDPs) are viruses that specifically infect bacteria carrying these plasmids, making them a potentially powerful but largely overlooked tool in controlling resistance gene transmission. This PhD project is part of ECOPHARM, a research project funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (Wallenberg Academy Fellows 2025) and is based at the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment, SLU Uppsala. The overarching aim of ECOPHARM is to decipher the mechanisms driving PDP interactions with conjugative plasmids and bacterial hosts, and to understand their impact on antibiotic resistance gene transmission in aquatic environments. As a PhD student, you will investigate the diversity, ecology, and functional interactions of plasmid-dependent phages in aquatic ecosystems. The work will combine environmental sampling, cultivation-based approaches, metagenomics, genome analysis, and experimental infection assays. Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment Third-cycle subject area Environmental assessment, specialising in environmental chemistry. Description of the doctoral project This doctoral project aims to improve the understanding of contaminants of emerging concern in food chains by using bioaccumulation and trophic transfer as a strategy for chemical prioritisation. The project will investigate how contaminants move from environmental sources into organisms and through food chains, and how these processes can be used to identify substances of relevance for ecosystems and One Health. The project will focus on one or more selected food-chain systems, depending on sample availability, collaborations and scientific relevance. The project includes i) selecting relevant food-chain systems, biological matrices and contaminants of emerging concern based on occurrence data, chemical properties, bioaccumulation potential and available samples; ii) applying target, suspect and non-target screening using LC-HRMS to identify known and previously unknown substances in selected biological matrices; iii) assessing bioaccumulation, biomagnification and trophic transfer patterns where suitable data and samples are available; iv) using environmental specimen bank samples, where available, to investigate time trends and support retrospective screening; and v) connecting measured chemical patterns to possible environmental sources. You will work in an international, interdisciplinary team. The project provides access to advanced instrumentation and training in data analysis, scientific communication, and collaborative research. About the position We are seeking a PhD student who will advance the understanding of contaminants of emerging concern in food chains, with a particular focus on bioaccumulation, trophic transfer and advanced chemical screening. To achieve this aim, you will develop and apply analytical workflows for the detection and identification of known and previously unknown compounds in complex biological matrices, including sample preparation, extraction and clean-up strategies. The project will also include semi-quantitative analysis of detected compounds and the assessment of bioaccumulation, biomagnification and trophic transfer patterns in selected food-chain systems. Where suitable samples are available, environmental specimen bank material may be used to investigate time trends and support retrospective screening. The duties also include preparation of biological and environmental samples, extraction and analysis of target and non-target compounds, processing of large HRMS datasets, data analysis, statistical evaluation, interpretation of chemical patterns in relation to environmental sources, collaboration with national and international partners, and scientific manuscript writing in English. Requirements To meet the general entry requirements you must have been awarded a second-cycle (Master’s) qualification, satisfied the requirements for courses comprising at least 240 credits of which at least 60 credits were awarded in the second-cycle, or acquired substantially equivalent knowledge in some other way in Sweden or abroad (Higher Education Ordinance 1993:100, Chapter 7, Section 39). Specific entry requirements for the third-cycle courses and study programme in environmental assessment, specialising in environmental chemistry. To meet the specific entry requirements, you must have knowledge of aquatic ecology, aquatic biogeochemistry, statistics or ecotoxicology. The undergraduate degree must include a degree project. You must also meet the equivalent English language requirements as those necessary for the Swedish upper-secondary qualification Engelska B/6. Your profile Applicants shall hold an MSc in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, chemistry, ecotoxicology, environmental science, food science or equivalent. Specialisation in chemical analysis of organic contaminants and experience with LC-MS, LC-HRMS, GC-MS or other advanced mass spectrometry techniques are valuable merits. Experience with suspect and non-target screening workflows is highly desirable. Previous experience with chemical analytical laboratory work, particularly involving complex biological, food, biota, soil or sediment matrices, is advantageous. Knowledge of contaminants of emerging concern, bioaccumulation, biomagnification, trophic transfer or time-trend analysis is considered a merit. Data processing skills using statistical computing, visualisation and data analysis tools (e.g. R, Python or similar) are also considered a merit.
