Lyten Labs is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in automated industrial (battery) production equipment and utilities. As an Electrical engineer for Facilities, Utilities & Equipment you will own and develop the electrical infrastructure that powers Labs’ facilities, utilities and production equipment. You will deliver safe, available and energy-efficient systems that support pilot-line manufacturing (mixing, coating, calendaring, assembly and formation & aging) and the on-site validation Labs. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Engineer and maintain LV/MV distribution (switchgear, transformers, UPS) and earthing/bonding for production, labs and offices. Specify, review and commission power distribution to pilot lines and utilities (e.g. dry rooms, HVAC, process cooling, vacuum) with correct protection, short-circuit ratings and risk controls. Ensure designs and installations comply with applicable EU/SE directives. Support ATEX related interfaces where applicable. Join Our Team at Kronen Substrates! Kronen Substrates is a modern and growing company specializing in professional substrate production. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed The production process involves several highly automated stages, combining material processing, dosing, mixing, packaging, and palletizing technologies. Raw materials are processed through a range of milling equipment with installed motor capacities from 10 kW up to 150 kW. The milled materials are then screened into different fractions using various types of star screens to achieve the required particle size distribution. An automated mixing line uses laser volume control sensors and weighing systems for the precise dosing of fertilizers, lime, and other additives. The mixing system has a capacity of up to 240 m³/h and is fully controlled by PC-based automation. All drives throughout the process are equipped with frequency inverters, allowing precise control and optimization of production parameters. The finished product is packaged on four packaging lines. 2 FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) machines produce bags ranging from 5 to 70 litres, with capacities of up to 28 bags per minute per line. In addition, two small bale presses produce 200-litre bales. Finished products are handled by two automated palletizers for bagged products and one robotic palletizing system for small bales. The palletized products are then secured using a Lachenmeier stretch hood system, ensuring stable and reliable transport packaging. About the Role As an Engineering Maintenance Technician, you will play an imperative part in supporting the pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Purfleet. What you will be doing * carry out maintenance on production equipment in an accurate, timely and safe manner. * Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs where possible. * Update engineering records, including all work carried out, as well as supporting the identification of root cause of failures. Confirmation of spares and consumables will be part of your role along * Ensuring the Computerised Maintenance Management System is updated with accurate data to meet Engineering KPIs. * Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyse engineering failures and find solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) performance. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to Candelas Manufacturing Engineering team to take ownership of the serial production implementation of a multitude of subsystems such as Anchoring Systems, Body Hardware, Doors, Fire Fighting Equipment, General Safety Equipment etc. This is a hands-on role — you’ll design, plan, and document in CAD, but also install and test systems yourself. You’ll ensure that systems are robust, serviceable, and seamlessly integrated within Candela’s electric hydrofoiling vessels. This role involves close cross-functional collaboration with Research & Development, Production, Purchasing and Industrial design teams to turn R&D designs into reliable, Serial producible processes and designs. What you'll do Design and develop production tools and production test equipment. Create detailed CAD models, assembly drawings, and installation documentation. Lead the process of ensuring all manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and legal requirements. Collaborate closely with Research & Development to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturability and long-term production stability. Drive the successful industrialization of new products by ensuring robust manufacturing processes, optimized tooling, and an efficient design-for-production approach. Evaluate and enhance existing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Perform hands-on installation, prototyping, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems. Drive system validation and troubleshooting during prototype and production stages. What are we looking for? M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 5–10+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within marine, vehicle, or aerospace systems installation. Proficiency in CAD design and mechanical documentation (Catia v5/3dexperience). Practical, hands-on engineering mindset — comfortable working with tools and installations. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills across disciplines. Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
